came here for lunch with my very pregnant friend and her gigantic 130lb dog. We sat outside on the patio, they tucked us into the corner, which worked out really well. The waitress brought water out for the dog and was quick with the waters and beer that I ordered. I got a bison burger without the bun with a side of veggies. When the veggies first came out, they were kind of sad - the equivalent of 3 baby carrots, two lives of zuchinni and two small broccoli florets. I think they realized this was sad and brought me another small dish of veggies. All said and done, the food was just ok. Service was good, attentive, responsive. Prices were what you'd expect. I am to sports bars what Woody Allen is to NASCAR. With that said, the food is amazing. Don't dare call it bar food. The chef, whomever he/she may be, may have trained on the Champs-Élysées for all I know, for the combination of flavors used for even the most mundane of platters exhibits strong evidence of latent genius - gastronomically speaking. I ordered the the crispy shrimp tacos, simply trying to satisfy a lunchtime yen for seafood, and was instantly catapulted into a place and time where shadows dance and colors explode. I'm writing this review because I want to spare others to abuse and humiliation I suffered at Timothy's Lionville Exton. First, let me preface this by saying that I totally understand that the restaurant industry is short-staffed, and that servers are working hard to pick up the slack. I don't mind waiting a bit longer and I understand that the service may be slower than usual. But what my mother and I experienced tonight was something way beyond the normal delays caused by the pandemic. We went in for dinner at 5:30pm tonight, Wednesday, and got seated outside quickly. Of course the service was slow and it was a wait to get our drink order taken. Ok, no problem. The waitress brought out the drinks and apps in a semi-normal timeframe. Great. The cauliflower "wings" were just ok. One of the sauces was supposed to be Korean bar-b-que and the other was supposed to be sweet and non-spicy. Both sauces were sub par. The "Korean" BBQ was not even remotely Korean tasting, and the sweet rum sauce was spicy even though we specified my mom can't eat spice, and the cauliflower was mushy. But again, it's the pandemic, so we let it go. Then she brings out our entrees. I take a bite of the salad that comes with my sandwich and feel something slimy in my mouth. I quickly swallow and then look under the upper leaves to find a few rotten pieces of lettuce completely black and slimy underneath. I set my salad aside. Still, I let it go, because of the pandemic. Then, I bite into my Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It's cold. And rubbery. And chewy. By this time, I was out of diet coke. I had asked for another one when she brought the entrees. Here's where things really went south. I sit and wait for her to come back with my drink. And I sit, and I sit. And I sit. The rotten salad and cold chicken are just sitting there too. My mom is eating her lukewarm French dip sandwich. And I sit. And I sit. And I sit some more. About 45 minutes goes by. Finally, we flag down another table's waitress and explain that the chicken had come out cold and I've been waiting for a drink for almost an hour. She looks blankly at us then says, "I'll try to find your waitress. We're really slammed with all the inside customers." I said, "ok. I understand you're busy but I would really like a diet coke and to talk to our waitress about the cold chicken." Our waitress comes over and just stares at me, waiting for an explanation. I again explain that the chicken came out cold, the salad is rotten, and I've had no drink for 45 minutes, so even if everything had been good, I wouldn't have been able to eat it anyway with no drink. She then says, "Ok, I'll take it off your check." She then takes the sandwich lightening fast, leaves the rotten salad in front of me for another twenty minutes. She brings our check back and quickly turns around and leaves before I can even ask for anything else to eat. So in short, I had nothing to eat, no dinner, just some crappy cauliflower. We had to drive through Freddie's on the way home just so I could have something for dinner. I have NEVER had that happen before where the wait staff basically just ran away and refused to bring a customer either something else or a hot version of the entree. The check was over $50 for one sandwich, one bar drink, and two apps. Then as I was leaving she said snottily, "have a nice night" in a sneering way. I don't know if it was discrimination against me because of my weight, or what, but obviously she did not think I needed to eat dinner. I did see that all of the inside customers had their food. Every table had food inside. I will never eat at this place again, and you shouldn't either. I understand that places are running behind, but it would have taken two seconds to just ask me if she could bring me something else or even just heat up the sandwich so it would be hot. I have never, ever experienced any waitstaff thinking it's fine to leave a customer with no dinner. Like a couple pieces of cauliflower was supposed to be my dinner? I'm just beyond shocked. I feel it is way beyond the normal delays of the pandemic and verging into purposely abusive treatment even though I was polite throughout the entire "meal." Stay away! read more

Mediocre food + awful service = first and last visit to this establishment The hostess simply stared at us when we walked in the door instead of saying something along the line of, "Hello and welcome to Timothy's." This should have been a red flag to turn around and leave immediately, but we had never been here and figured we'd give them a chance. Then it was as if she were required to solve a calculus equation before she were able to seat us in the nearly empty restaurant-she seemed befuddled. Once seated, we waited, for a loooong while. While we waited, a couple of servers waited on their respective tables, but wouldn't dare make eye contact or answer my calls for assistance. Only once I went to the hostess and told her to get someone to our table did a server appear. We had our server take our drink and food order since we had had plenty of time to make our decisions. Our drinks were brought out and as other customers filtered in, we watched as the other servers brought their tables complimentary nacho chips with their drinks. Fortunately, one of the other servers asked if we were doing okay and I suggested we would like some chips while we waited or our food, to which she acted surprised we had not been offered. Then we also noticed the other customers had been provided linen napkins with their utensils while we had paper napkins (not a big deal on any other day, but by this time every little thing felt like a slight). When our food arrived, mine came with a side other than what I had requested. I pointed this out to our server and she said she would be right back. Well, the side I had originally requested (macaroni and cheese) arrived by the time I had finished my sandwich, so I guess her idea of "right back" is a bit different than mine. The food was mediocre at best. Then, we had completed our meal and waited about 10 minutes or longer before our server reappeared. No check-in from her during our meal, just a visit after a rather extended period of time after dropping off my corrected side dish. We immediately asked for our check right away before we were delayed any longer and had a chance to become more angry. I do not recommend this restaurant and am disappointed this relatively new establishment will probably not survive long if their service and food does not markedly improve. read more

I want so badly to love this place. The atmosphere is great, it's conveniently located, the TVs are amazing, the bar is pretty great. BUT the food is literally some of the worst food I have ever eaten. Seriously. I can't say enough bad things about their food. My husband likes to go here to watch games and he likes one of the sandwiches, and I try to have a positive attitude and keep ordering new things in hopes of finding something decent. I am not exaggerating when I say their "traditional pizza" is probably the most disgusting pizza I've ever had. Pizza should never be chewy or resemble play-dough. When I ordered it, I thought "how can they mess up pizza?" Well, they can. Even their Caesar salad is pretty gross. Tolerable, but not good. Again, how do you mess up Caesar salad? But tonight was my breaking point and I'm writing a yelp review, something I've done maybe once before, because I am so mad that they tried to pass this soupy bowl of crap as Artichoke, Spinach, and Crab Dip. You should never have to use a spoon to eat dip. You also should never be able to slurp dip. Did it even have cheese in it like the menu described? I have no idea. Oh. Not to mention that it was 15 DOLLARS. I never send food back because I don't want to be that person. So I didn't send this back. But also I knew with every fiber of being that they would not be able to replace this with something better. I cannot believe they are still trying to pass all these disgusting dishes as food. My second visit to Timothy's was on Mothers Day. My first visit was 3 weeks prior and my burger was delicious. We didn't want to wait forever for dinner and I remembered the service on my first visit was quick and the food was good. We were seated immediately. Looking over the menu I told my mom the bleu burger with the brisket was great. A passing server heard and told us they were out of brisket. I opted for the prime rib dip, looking forward to the au jus and creamy horseradish flavors. My son had a burger. He requested mustard,lettuce,tomato. The burger arrived with no mustard and it had onions. No big deal i took the onion off. I bite into my prime rib dip, there was no horseradish on it. I asked the server for it. He doesnt return for a long time. I flag him down. Ohh we are out of horseradish. So you didnt want to come back and tell me? If he had I would have sent my order back and had something else. Just disappointed. The service was sub par and it wasnt even busy. They had empty tables. Now that I think about it, on my first visit my friend requested no bacon. She said it 3 times. Her sandwich arrived with bacon. Attention to detail is important. If the problem happens in the kitchen the server should be well aware of the order they took and ensure that the food they serve is as requested. read more

Beautiful place. This is the first time I have been inside of Timothy's. It is still in the learning processes so give them time to learn the menu before you say anything bad. The food is good and price isn't bad at all you get a lot of food on your plate. The service is very good. From the time you walk in the door until You leave everything was great. Our server Gabby made sure we had everything we needed. With our little ones we needed a lot and she was wonderful! I know how hard it is firsthand to open a new restaurant and by the looks of it. This night I was with my lovely wife on a date and we wanted to try some place we haven't been before. We heard that this new place called Timothy's just opened up and we thought that it would be fun to try the place out. To our surprise it was Timothy's grand opening. Let's just say it was a bit crazy. We get there and luckily I called early in the morning to put my name in for a 6:00 arrival. They do not take reservations but they do accept call aheads. We were sat down on a hightop table near the outside doors. It was a bit cold because as the grand opening there was a bouncy house and a ton of kids within the place. They kept going in and out of the doors. That was not the restaurants fault but is was a bit annoying. Besides the door situation my wife and I were sitting at our table for about 6 to 10 minutes before anyone came up to us and served us. Luckily, our server Amber came to our rescue. She noticed that no one had helped us so she took the initiative and took charge. Thank god she took the initiative. I understand that a grand opening can cause issues so we will just call it a first big night glitch. Again thank god for Amber, she was a gem (Diamond) as a server. She was right on top of what was going on. We started with a 12 piece order of boneless wings with their original sauce. To our joy when the wings came out they were plump and meaty. They weren't overly breaded and they were cooked to perfection. Not overly crisp and very juicy. The sauce had just the right amount of spice that didn't overpower the taste of the chicken. They were a pleasure to eat. We both enjoyed them the only improvement would be the blue cheese dressing could have had more blue cheese flavor. The next thing that Amber was on top of, was the available food available for the night. My wife ordered Autumn Chicken and i initially ordered the Prime Rib. Amber, wanted to check to see if the Prime Rib was available for the Grand Opening. A good thing she did because it was not being served that evening. So I ordered the Rosemary and Garlic Chicken When we received our entries we were pleased with the portion and plating. The Autumn Chicken was out of this world. It was grilled chicken breast with an apple. butternut squash and cinnamon chutney with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The chutney and the chicken breast was a great combination. The chutney accentuated and not over powered the chicken. It also helped keep the chicken moist. The potatoes were flavored well and the asparagus was seasoned well. On the other hand my rosemary and Garlic Chicken was a bit bland. I had to add salt to bring the flavor out of the chicken. Once I added the salt the dish came alive. The chicken was moist and once salted it brought out the rosemary and garlic to give a beautiful combination. Again it was paired with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. The dish came around and was very enjoyable. We also have two glasses of wine I have the Zin and my wife had the Chard. The wine was a bit pricey compared to the plethora of beers. If you are an avid beer drinker you will have fun at Timothy's, also they have TVs everywhere. I can't wait for Football season to come to watch at Timothy's. I would recommend you try Timothy's. The food is good and it is a fun place to watch sports. I am looking forward to try it again when it is not the grand opening. read more

I was very disappointed. My two-year-old daughter and I went here tonight for dinner. I completely understand that they went into the yellow phase a week and a half ago but in saying that this was the eighth restaurant I have dined at since we went into the yellow phase. First of all we sat at a table for about 10 minutes before I went back inside and ask the hostess to get my daughter milk and myself and iced tea because no one came over to us at all and then finally the server came over to me and said that the only way I can see a menu is if I take a picture of it which I said my phone doesn't do that and then she came back with a menu that was only a drink menu. I said that I really needed a food menu so after another 10 minutes she finally gave me a food menu. Then the food came out and I wanted a refill so I told her that I wanted extra ice and she came back with no ice then she was nowhere to be found so I had to go back inside to the hostess. I then ask the hostess for a cup of ice so she came and gave it to me. Oh and mind you when they gave me the food they didn't give me any silverware or napkins so again I had to go back inside to the house and ask for silverware and napkins. I also had to ask for crowns for my daughter because no one brought anything out for her. Then when the server gave me the check I gave her my credit card and she never came back out. Another 10 to 15 minutes went by when I finally grabbed my daughter again and went inside and I said where is my server I really need talev and a server was just sitting at the bar then she saw me got up and ran my card and then handed it to me and I said was there a problem and she said no I was just waiting on a refill for a different table and I said it's been about 10 to 15 minutes and she took my credit card. I then got home and I was so upset about this that I called and spoke to the manager Scott who did not seem empathetic at all which is why I'm writing this review because he just listened to me speak and at the end he said I'm really sorry I hope you will dine with us again and I said do you even want to know the name of the server because I have it on my check and he said no I know her name so hopefully he wasn't just saying that. All the food so far has been good haven't had any complaints. I like the wings the best, good flavor and spicy. Prices For both food and drinks I felt were very competitive and some drinks are much less than other places and taste better. Service can be fast or slow depending on how busy it is but nothing bad. It had been cleaned in some kind of water for the large water spots were white. The server did not catch his error. The place was empty and atmosphere was not pleasant for they were playing very load 70-80's music which made for difficult conversation. The wine was overpriced for the area. I am brand new to "yelping" and thought after my experience at Timothy's in Lionville it would be a great time to start. Recently, we had a death in the family and with many friends and family coming from out of town for the funeral we needed to find a local spot close to us and our guests hotels. We decided last minute to try Timothy's. With a party of 18 we were quickly seated and immediately greeted by our server Nicole. I quickly explained the situation and she was more than empathetic and accommodating. In the past with a party of our size needing many separate checks the outcome is usually not so great but not here and definitely not with our server. She assured us it wouldn't be an issue and attended to each and every one of our needs. We also had drinks within minutes of being seated. Being new to this establishment we asked Nicole for menu suggestions which she had plenty of. We ordered everything from their amazing Korean Short Rib tacos to fish and chips, Burgers, etc and everything she suggested was delicious. We also had several food allergies which she promptly had recommendations for as well. With it being such a somber occasion Nicole really brightened all of our day. If I could give her ten stars I would. My family and friends will all definitely be back to see Nicole and to try more yummy things on this menu. read more

I've driven past Timothy's quite a few times thinking I have to stop in there. Well today I finally had that chance. It was for my son's football banquet so the food wasn't exactly something I would choose but I will still offer my opinion based on what was available to me. We were in the private room which was very nice. It was perfect for our group of boys and parents. We had a rice and vegetable blend, as well as a baked chicken with lemon and basil or possibly rosemary, salmon with some kind of sweet glaze, chicken fingers, French fries and pizza. I did not care for the baked chicken at all. One bite was enough for me. There was no flavor other than the lemon which tasted like someone just squirted lemon juice on top of it. I ate the rice and French fries. I was not happy with the food at all. Not only was it not very good but the kids had to wait for more French fries and chicken fingers to come out. Considering we are a football team. I would think they would have been pumping those things out back to back. I will come back and give the restaurant and actual menu a try once more. Although I was not happy with the food, I was extremely impressed with the way our server Meredith aka Mo handled everything and everyone. She was on point with everything and very pleasant. She was able to cater to the youngest guest all the way up to the most seasoned. She made the boys laugh and seemed right at home taking care of all of us. The entire room had nothing but good things to say about her. I hope the management recognizes the amazing worker tbey have in her. She is the reason why my family and I will give this place one more try. We will definitely ask for her when we arrive. Hopefully the food is a lot better when ordering off the menu inside of the restaurant. We tried the Santa breakfast buffet and it wasn't a good experience. They ran out of food several times and were totally disorganized. The food that did show up was poorly prepared; shells in the scrambled eggs under cooked potatoes, etc. The poorly thought out layout of the buffet created a significant traffic jam that was made worse by people waiting for food running out. Our family was seated at a table with strangers which made the whole experience very awkward. From the time we were seated we we waited 30 minutes to have a waitress come to take our drink order which we had to initiate. When she finally came back 15 minutes later the order was incorrect and incomplete. My daughter's orange juice was warm and tasted like it was going bad. The Santa was nice but the disorganized nature of the event made it difficult for participants to see him. Overall due the disorganized, understaffed event with the poorly cooked food that they ran out of, I would not recommend this event to others. read more

Been here a few times now both for Happy Hour and for lunch hour. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the atmosphere, the bartenders were very polite and quick given the full bar area. He loves the boneless hot wings here. When I went for lunch with my coworkers we chose this location initially because it was new a few months ago, our waitress Gina was the best, very quick and one her toes. Polite and observant of the table, food was awesome the first time around. Came back a second time just this past week and had Miss Gina again, she is definitely our favorite waitress!! We had traditional wings, Texas Twist burgers, salads, soups, chicken sandwiches and had no complaints whatsoever between the 8 of us, everything was cooked to the right temperature, nothing came out cold or incorrect. Our new favorite place to go!! We've come here several times in the past few months, and always had great food and amazing service! Most notably, my husband and I came to try their All You Can Eat Wings last week (September 2nd) and had such a great experience we came back today! Our server, Steven S., was so helpful, bringing us out different sauce flavors to try before we ordered, and gave us some wonderful recommendations. Overall, the atmosphere is comfortable and casual, but still very nice. And as I mentioned before, we've never had a bad server (something you can't say about many places these days). If I could zero stars, I would. I took my team members out for a business dinner here last week. The place was not busy on a Tuesday early evening. Despite that, it took over 1/2 hr to place our order. That was after I got up and spoke to the manager on duty. My one guest was served warm beer. Service was awful. I think they had 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant. We finally got our food at 7:10pm.....we got there at 5:30. No offer was made to comp anything nor no apology for the wait.
