There are pro's and con's for Camping World. Biggest PRO!! They have hundreds of rv's, I'm sure if…read moreyou are looking for a specific RV this is the right place. That is why I gave them a three star. Con's - I felt unwelcome at the front desk. I simply stated I wanted to walk the lot and look at rv's with no pressure. I stated if I found something I will let them know. I don't think that they liked that. I completely understand their point of view of wanting to assign a specific sales person as you walk in. Some people do not like high pressure sales. I did not receive a good welcome and got a side eye... lol. I let that go and did not allow that interaction ruin my day. When I came back in, I had a great big smile and said hi, the lady rolled her eyes and turned her face. I guess they were not having a good day. So people don't take my word for it, your experience may be different. Continue your adventures and find your perfect RV.

But After we got the quote for repairs we decided to at least see what they would offer . Made an appt. With Derrick. Drive over an hour and he's not available?? Nick steps up and he is super helpful. He then says he needs an offer from Wade We heard Wade yell at him that we have survic department t. So professional! Then Nick gets a call and gives us an offer. Ridiculously low and down right insulting! We say fine well take it elsewhere. Now the best is yet to come We go to the service department and are greeted by Kathleen. She is already irritated that we dont have an appt..actually yes we did and it didnt work out so we want out rv back. She says she'll let us know when it is driven back about half hour..well an hour later husband goes back and it is sitting by service door? He asks for the key and Kathleen is acting all crazy y and flustered looking for it. Keeps asking the girl next to her if she knows where it is. She even kept checking her own pockets? Finally hubby says . Is it in the rv. She has the girl call the driver that drove it over. He says yes it is in the rv. Husband says Why was this so hard to figure out. She says Next time make an appt. Hubby said there won't be a next time. Then she goes into this crazy rant about having an appt. I say We did have one. Too bad it couldn't work out Shes still Going on and on and on!Hubby walks away to get into rv. I go left to our car and she is still yapping away. The most awful unprofessional staff i have experienced . BTW Allstate insurance is the worst for rvs And Ruffs Rv repair in Mentor can do it for 1/3rd the prices this awful place quoted us. Way to go manager in Akron!! Your over all reviews must make you so proud of yourselves

Getting very frustrated now as they are very good at taking our money, but not so good once they have it. To be fair, I understand it was during the holiday season, but we sent the money December 19th, and despite repeated calls (which we had to make at midnight from Korea) and repeated E-mails we cannot get them to answer the simple question "when do we bring it in, and how long does it need to stay?". At one point we were promised an answer by December 28th, but since then all we get are evasions. When we call, the person we need to talk to is out (seems to be out a lot) or whoever we get hold of says we are waiting to hear from somebody in service. We are trying to book time in April so plenty of notice, and were told the schedule was open then, but STILL don't have an appointment. Since we have to book a hotel to stay while we are in town, the longer we wait, the higher the prices go. We also cannot schedule anything else (we are stopping there during a trip across America) until we have those dates. This review does not encompass their work, but with customer service this bad I have a bad feeling about the company in general. If there are problems, let us know, don't leave us hanging for weeks, and it is not like this should be a difficult task. **Update: We finally got our appointment, and the work was completed. I will say that the work appears excellent, and the onsite experience was stellar. Trying to make new appointments for more work, and running into the same lack of responsiveness. I would say Advanced RV does great work, but getting them to respond is like trying a wake a teenager up in the morning after a rock concert.

We looked at Roadtrek and the Mercedes-Airstream collaboration, and they are very nice, but they cannot compare to the RVs built by Advanced RV. Unlike the others, ARV is completely custom. The process begins with a visit to the factory that can last days, as you work with the staff to select EVERYTHING in your custom RV. From the engine, suspension and mechanical details, all the way to the color schemes, floorings and fixtures, you and the ARV team customize each item in the RV. Once everything is selected, there is a constant flow of information from ARV to the customer, as they keep you up to date on their progress. If you have any questions, or there are any items that the craftsmen at ARV are not certain about, you can call them, or they will contact you. And you don't just leave a message. Everyone at ARV is available to talk to you about any question or concern you might have, and that includes Mike Neundorfer, the company's owner. We just took possession of our new ARV, "Huginn," and are simply blown away with quality and level of workmanship. Everything is first rate. We took our new RV on a cross country road trip to return home, and even took her back into the mountains outside Santa Fe, NM. The road was narrow and rough, but there was almost none of the rattle, shake and clatter that I have come to associate with RV travel. On the freeways, the RV was so quiet it might as well have been a well made SUV. We simply could not be happier with our new RV, and with the entire experience of working with Advanced RV. I STRONGLY advise anyone to never buy coachman or maybe just avoid campers inn all together. I have had a problem with it every single time I have camped except 1 time. Broken thermostat, FOUR leaks, then campers inn decided to winterize the camper for me free of charge and then left the lines filled with water to test my leaks Needless to say, all of the lines blew and it cracked the toilet and hot water heater. They did not get me in to fix the problem for weeks and the availability wad horrible. Now this time my living room slideout is broken. Every time I have the camper in to be fixed, it comes back with a new problem. I realize this is also a coachman problem and already spoke with the lead sales rep for coachman apex ultra lite and he said people are willing to pay a ridiculous price even though the quality sucks. Campers inn also did not compensate me in any other fashion for their mistake and lack of customer service. They are a continuous revolving door of employees and every other month you call in to check on the status of the slow maintenance and you talk to a new employee. A complete failure. Don't ever buy a camper from them. The GM did nothing to help accommodate the situation either. Stay away from them.
