Getting very frustrated now as they are very good at taking our money, but not so good once they have it. To be fair, I understand it was during the holiday season, but we sent the money December 19th, and despite repeated calls (which we had to make at midnight from Korea) and repeated E-mails we cannot get them to answer the simple question "when do we bring it in, and how long does it need to stay?". At one point we were promised an answer by December 28th, but since then all we get are evasions. When we call, the person we need to talk to is out (seems to be out a lot) or whoever we get hold of says we are waiting to hear from somebody in service. We are trying to book time in April so plenty of notice, and were told the schedule was open then, but STILL don't have an appointment. Since we have to book a hotel to stay while we are in town, the longer we wait, the higher the prices go. We also cannot schedule anything else (we are stopping there during a trip across America) until we have those dates. This review does not encompass their work, but with customer service this bad I have a bad feeling about the company in general. If there are problems, let us know, don't leave us hanging for weeks, and it is not like this should be a difficult task. **Update: We finally got our appointment, and the work was completed. I will say that the work appears excellent, and the onsite experience was stellar. Trying to make new appointments for more work, and running into the same lack of responsiveness. I would say Advanced RV does great work, but getting them to respond is like trying a wake a teenager up in the morning after a rock concert.

We looked at Roadtrek and the Mercedes-Airstream collaboration, and they are very nice, but they cannot compare to the RVs built by Advanced RV. Unlike the others, ARV is completely custom. The process begins with a visit to the factory that can last days, as you work with the staff to select EVERYTHING in your custom RV. From the engine, suspension and mechanical details, all the way to the color schemes, floorings and fixtures, you and the ARV team customize each item in the RV. Once everything is selected, there is a constant flow of information from ARV to the customer, as they keep you up to date on their progress. If you have any questions, or there are any items that the craftsmen at ARV are not certain about, you can call them, or they will contact you. And you don't just leave a message. Everyone at ARV is available to talk to you about any question or concern you might have, and that includes Mike Neundorfer, the company's owner. We just took possession of our new ARV, "Huginn," and are simply blown away with quality and level of workmanship. Everything is first rate. We took our new RV on a cross country road trip to return home, and even took her back into the mountains outside Santa Fe, NM. The road was narrow and rough, but there was almost none of the rattle, shake and clatter that I have come to associate with RV travel. On the freeways, the RV was so quiet it might as well have been a well made SUV. We simply could not be happier with our new RV, and with the entire experience of working with Advanced RV. When we walked on the lot, we were expecting to deal with the typical "car salesman" trying to sell us something that we didn't need. Our salesman was not pushy, but very informative, sharing from his experience and taking the time to understand what we were looking for. After the purchase, we found a leak that did not get caught in the pressure-test (we found out about it the very evening that we brought the trailer home) and the Service Department was quick to resolve the issue. From our salesman to the staff that familiarized us with the trailer to the service representative that I was working with, and even the guy behind the counter at the store (I wound up substantially upgrading a purchase because I felt that I could trust his advice)... the people at General went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied and were informed about the products or services that they were addressing with us.

Our purchase was made November of 2025, and we have yet to travel with it. To begin with the 2 hour demo was a waste of time. The employee continually told us he didn't know how things worked in our RV because it wasn't like his. After 20 minutes of this, the 'demo' was stopped Because it was a waste of time, and not helpful. So, on to service to get a recall done, and the things that we pointed out to our salesman. To this day the recall isn't done because they don't have the part. They claim it hasn't been released by the Winnebago, and they also claim that it has been sent, but they have no tracking. So, really not quite sure of the reason. Also, the broken passenger seat won't be fixed because the salesman forgot to write it on the purchase paper. None of the latches on the doors outside are working correctly, one is broken, and it will be fixed at our expense of over $300. Had the demo gone according to plan, these latches would have been tested then. There are now two recalls, a broken latch, and stuck latches on the rest of the doors. We are 8 months into this, with 3 useless appointments where we took the RV for repairs that they claimed they had the parts for it, but they actually didn't, many talks with the service department manger, and a call to corporate that assured us action would be taken. We are now in July, summer half over, with a beautiful RV sitting in storage, and we are making payments each month for something we are not able to use because the one recall makes it not safe to drive until it is fixed. The day of purchase we were assured that recall would be done in the next couple of weeks. I guess 8, going on 9 months, seems reasonable to folks not needing it done. We do not recommend this place, unless you are able to get the parts and service your camper yourself.

I STRONGLY advise anyone to never buy coachman or maybe just avoid campers inn all together. I have had a problem with it every single time I have camped except 1 time. Broken thermostat, FOUR leaks, then campers inn decided to winterize the camper for me free of charge and then left the lines filled with water to test my leaks Needless to say, all of the lines blew and it cracked the toilet and hot water heater. They did not get me in to fix the problem for weeks and the availability wad horrible. Now this time my living room slideout is broken. Every time I have the camper in to be fixed, it comes back with a new problem. I realize this is also a coachman problem and already spoke with the lead sales rep for coachman apex ultra lite and he said people are willing to pay a ridiculous price even though the quality sucks. Campers inn also did not compensate me in any other fashion for their mistake and lack of customer service. They are a continuous revolving door of employees and every other month you call in to check on the status of the slow maintenance and you talk to a new employee. A complete failure. Don't ever buy a camper from them. The GM did nothing to help accommodate the situation either. Stay away from them.

I have to say I almost backed out of the transaction when I saw the yelp reviews for the Elwood City location where I had to take the camper for inspection, but I had a chat with Andrea Chandler who got me comfortable with the process and it ended up working exactly as she promised. I found that the Elwood City maintenance team performed the inspection quickly and did not nit pick on little things. All went great. Thanks Campers Inn.
