Located in a shopping complex -- there is plenty of parking in the structure Both indoor and outdoor seating available, plus they do have a private dining room out back Family friendly dining - they have fire roasted pizzas available as well as pastas and a. variety of american dishes

Um... wow! Everything was delicious here including (hold on...) the anchovies on the white bean bruschetta!!! Ohhh my... and their lemon meringue pie (while I would say it was more of a key lime pie) was pretty darn good. The Pig & Fig flatbread is a must try! There was no little tiny pieces on there but full-blown chunks of fig! Yum!!!! The prosciutto wrapped melons drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette was so refreshing paired with my G&T! Service was outstanding & the restaurant was extremely accommodating! Great spot to bring a group if in the area.

Tonight I was heading home from LAX and we decided to have a bite at Tin Roof in Manhattan Beach. This is a nice and cozy restaurant with a nice staff and a good menu. Today being Sunday, they apparently offer their brunch menu all day. We shared a 'secret' menu item, the Haystack fries then, we shared the layered lasagna and a Sorpasetta pizza. The food was very good and, they have a lot of other 'comfort' food available. There's plenty of parking and the mall that's very close has a bunch of places to burn the calories. I do recommend Tim Roof for a casual dinner, a nice first date night or, whatever.

Came here to grab a glass of wine and dinner with friends. I ordered their lobster ravioli and it was amazing. The sauce was absolutely incredible. I paired it with one of their Sauvignon blanc wines and it was refreshing. For dessert I ordered their key lime meringue. If you are a lime/lemon dessert person then I definitely recommend that you order this dessert. Only downside was their AC was not working this evening which was it a little difficult to enjoy dinner. Looking forward to coming again. Additionally, ensure you make a reservation. They tend to be busy.

Father's Day Brunch. Excellent experience. Special two course meal with special menu offerings. Seriously, one course is more than enough, we had two plus appetizers! But no worries, we love leftovers! Food is always so creative and wonderful.at Tin Roof. Although we no longer live in Manhattan, still one if our favorite restaurants. Food and service are stellar! We started with cocktails, and of course prepared by our favorite bartender / cocktail specialist extraordinaire, Clark. Off Your Head (Bloody Mary) and Ophella's White Sangria. Both were very tasty! Tin Roof has an excellent cocktail program as does their Simmzy's locations. We started out with Brussel Sprouts. Definitely a hit with the whole table. Tin Roof definitely has the best around, flavorful with a nice crunch, never soggy! We all ordered a variery of starters for our first course. Several had Ceasar Salads. Several had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. One had the Bloddy Mary Deviled Eggs, and another had the Fig; Pistashio, and Cottage Cheese Toast. Everyone loved what they ordered. We were full before our next courses arrived! Our server was Malcolm. He was very attentive even though it was an extremely busy afternoon since it was Father's Day. He was very helpful explaining some of the options only offered on today's menu. They offered a Bistro Burger (five out of six of us ordered!) and I wanted to know how different this burger was from their Simmzy's Burger (my personal favorite). He was spot on, explained it was smokey in flavor and quite different with the pretzel bun. It was so.good, served with fries (best shoestring fries!), onion rings, and piled so high you had to use a fork and knife to eat it! We left beyond full! Definitely we will be back soon!

    Fish 'n' Chips, very good.

The food was a hit, from the dipping sauces to the main dishes. All of our items were very good. Delicious and filled with different flavors that appeased both myself and my husband. I would give 5 stars but we were forgotten outside for about an hour or so. We were supposed to wait 45 minutes to be seated. I'll take some responsibility for waiting longer than we probably should have before going back to the front desk but they seemed to be very busy. When my husband finally went back to the front desk, after a little more than an hour they were able to seat us right away. By this time I was hangry. The food was so good it made up for the wait.

Went with mom and sister for their happy hour which is from 4pm-6pm Monday through Friday. Sat outside since it was a nice day was immediately greeted by a waitress. Food was very delicious! Ambiance was great nice floral energy. Stuff we ordered: Getting figgy with it: It was just a whiskey on the rocks. 8.5/10 Firecracker shrimp: amazing! Alot of flavor and the shrimp is cooker to perfection. We loved it so much so that we ordered a total of 2 of them! 10/10 Fig and pig pizza: very tasty, very unique in terms of flavors. You the fig compliments the Bleu cheese very well, just wish it was crispier. 9/10 Manhattan beach cobbler salad: It was pretty basic after having all the other flavors. Was just a salad nothing special about it. The chicken breast felt dry even though the salad was very wet. 6/10 Overall an extremely pleasant experience from the little things of a clean bathroom and clean cooking space to the better things of clean and happy looking staff will definitely come back in the near future.

Everything was good, service, wait, setting, drinks, everyone's food. I had one issue, but more of a personal taste. I did not like the creamed corn that came with the ossobuco, there was too much of it, and just didnt really go with it.

Went to Tin Roof Bistro for a retirement celebration and it didn't disappoint. Staff was very welcoming and positive. I believe our server's name was Michael and he was fantastic. Very attentive, helpful and friendly. Food was fantastic. We had a variety of food, drinks, and desserts. Passion fruit crème brûlée was amazing.

Stopped by with friends and really enjoyed the visit. Everything we tried was delicious! We had the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, Woodfire pizza, shrimp appetizer, beets salad, and hummus. My favorite by far were the Brussels sprouts and beats salad. Locations is great. We sat outside and the ambiance was fun. Parking is a bit hard.

Was here for a group function. Private room was nice and private. Service was excellent and the food was great as usual. I had the Bistro Ceasar Salad, wine braised short ribs and mango and cherry fruit crisp with mango ice cream.

Fantastic experience - from the service , to the food, to the ambiance! *The Fearless Caesar - Romaine, herb croutons, American Grana Padano, our "take no prisoners" Caesar dressing. The best Caesar Salad I've ever had!! *The grilled flatbread with garlic - so good!! *The Lamb Bolognese with Pappardelle - House-made pasta, sautéed spinach, shaved parmesan, 12-hour sauce. Wow!!!!

We celebrated a birthday at Tin Roof and called in advance to make sure the kitchen can cater to food allergies. They notated and said they can surely accommodate. Food and service was excellent. But alas, like we've experienced before, the food allergies were not taken into consideration during dessert selection and the birthday celebrant was given a dessert that had almonds in it! One of our food allergies. Fortunately, we checked it out and thought it looked "suspiciously" unsafe in terms of allergens. And our intuition was spot on. To add insult to injury, they charged us for the dessert that could have sent a few of us to the hospital! Otherwise, entrees and service was good.

Can I bring my small service dog with us?

Absolutely. We sat inside & the service dog in our group was allowed.

For a birthday gathering, would it be better to be indoors or at the courtyard during lunch?

I'd say outdoor it has a garden like look and feel.

Is the Tomato Bisque made with chicken stock or vegetable stock?

My wife is a vegetarian and as I recall she asked the same question and was told it was made of vegetable stock, but would recommend you confirm if you too order.

How is this place for non alcoholics? I ask because most of the menu feels like its alcohol.

You're right that they have a robust drink menu. But the food is great and I didn't feel like there was any issue not drinking there. It felt like more restaurant than bar. You could easily not order a cocktail. Having said that, if you're…

Tin roof, bistro, happy hour menu?

Probably not. My reservation was 6pm and it was a regular dinner menu.

Do you guys take cash also?

    Yes

Is the restaurant open this Thanksgiving and if so do they have a Thanksgiving meal menu?

Are there private rooms for dining?

There is a large private room available for booking

Do you serve lunch during weekends?

Kind of. It's a brunch menu. So it has some lunch items

Do you need to make reservations?

No technically necessary but strongly suggest as its a popular place.

    Are there gluten free options?

    yes

Do you still serve haystack fries? They weren't on the menu when we came this weekend, but they still made it for us. Also, did the sauce change? We asked for an extra side…

When I went 2 months ago, the server said they got rid of haystack fries it a long time ago. I'm not sure about the sauce situation.

    What is the corkage?

$15/btl and, fun fact, we donate 100% of our corkage annually to CHLA!

    Brunch on Sunday?

Unfortunately we do not offer Brunch or lunch at this time. We are working hard on staffing the restaurant so that we can open for brunch on the weekends. Feel free to check back or send an email to aarong@tinroofbistro.com and I can add you to the…

Yes, Tin Roof does offer Happy Hour from 4-7 pm daily. $2 off wines, beers, cocktails, pizzas and salads in the bar and bocce court only.

We came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation after she became a doctor, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks were great too! I enjoyed the wine and champagne, which were smooth and not overly strong. A special shoutout to our server, Daniel, who did an amazing job taking care of our group. He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. Thankfully, they have fire pits and heat lamps that help keep everyone warm and comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Thank you for a great experience!

I was here before a couple of years back, it was a non-issue…read more Tonight's experience was a total disappointment, much need for someone in leadership to improve. Ambiance is nicely decorated, it's part of the hotel, so just walk right in, pass the lobby, take the elevator to the 6th floor and you are there. Parking is free and plenty of it outside, do not feel the need to pay. Service: Horrible, I would give her a zero if I could. We had the woman server, reddish hair, one who I thought would be seasoned. Oder took her about 8 minutes, she then walk away and not said why. It was apparent that there was an issue with the table. Drinks took about another 12 mins to arrive and when they did it would have been great if she had spilled them. Drinks were horrible. My rum and coke was served flat and warm. Ice was dirty, seemed like no preventative maintenance takes place. No napkins were served, and at no time did she stop by to check in on us. Bartenders... not presentable at all. I didn't know what I was looking at. There was no way for me to tell if he was a bartender, or anyone else making the drinks. He seemed hot and sweaty, completely off, and wearing some sort of white T-Shirt., again, you couldn't event tell that it was a bartender making that drink, the entire experience was horrible. The drinks were so bad that we took 2 sips and said it's time to go. Waitress came by, we checked out and she just stood there waiting for a tip. We felt forced to tip her, when in reality I wanted to say, please quit your job. Folks, if you are looking for a nice classy drink, or something made right, do your self a favor and go elsewhere. if you are staying there, either go to the lobby bar, or better yet, skip out and head to Manhattan beach. No one should pay over $50.00 for poorly made drinks, served on a dirty glass, warm and with less than mediocre service.
