Most food was warm but fried stuff was cold! Got noodles, shrimp, and steak off hibachi grill and the teriyaki sauce was so watered down that it had no taste and the steak was tough as leather! It was so watered down that my food was swimming in brown water on my plate! 18.99 a person and my husband asked for soy sauce and salt & pepper, they bring him a to go pack of soy sauce and those tiny packs of to go salt and pepper. 18.99 and they can't afford S&P shakers! I know buffets are usually not the best but Tin Tin is one of the better buffets I have been to. It is a little pricey but it has a lot of variety and options for everyone. I've been to this location a couple of times and haven't been disappointed. This is what I expect and would like from a Chinese buffet. There's a grill station with all the fixings, all of your Chinese entrees, a few American food entrees, sushi, salad, dips, and an assortment of desserts. Then I really enjoyed the hibachi strain you put the items on a plate chicken, pork, beef, shrimp choose all your veggies also noodles or rice and hand it to the gentleman that is cooking and chose your sauce I choose teriyaki and then he will cook it fit you to perfection. This was delicious. They also have pretty good dessert. They serve Pepsi here in not a Pepsi fan. Staff are friendly and they clear your plates when they see it on the side. There's a nice fountain out front, indicating this is a nice place and not a run-of-the-mill grade B joint. The actual buffet steam tables have something for everyone. Classic dishes like General Tao, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, beef and broccoli as well as fresh fruit, lots of seafood (stuffed mussels, cheesy shrimp, scallops, fantail shrimp, clams in white wine sauce, crab legs [for $17.99] and more) and SUSHI! I'd come back here for the sushi alone. Fresh, beautiful and plentiful, I was in heaven. The servers came and removed our spent plates with speed and refilled our drinks with the same sense of urgency. Probably the most efficient, quiet service I've ever received. There's also a hibachi station, soups and a whole side devoted to desserts and ice creams. All for $11.99 for dinner and it's less expensive for lunch. There are many dishes to choose from. I recommend the clams in black bean sauce, different kinds of white fish, green beans, egg drop or seafood soups, and salmon sushi. I haven't tried the hibachi grill but it's there if you like that. Each time I'm here I eat at least 25 clams. Service was pretty standard, and the restaurant was fairly clean. I was excited to see that COVID safety measures were being enforced and that gloves were provided for trips to the buffet. The biggest down side was that none of the sushi rolls were labeled, and a lot of food items were either mislabeled or not labeled at all. This is a pretty common issue at buffets, but when you have dietary restrictions like me it can be a bit of a hassle. I also found the quality of several of the foods I tried to be below average. The spring rolls had an oddly sweet taste, many of the fruits had sat out too long or were a pretty poor quality, and my brother noted many of the crab dishes also had been seasoned oddly. The hibachi vegetables I had were good and the sugar donut was one of the best I've had in a while, and the sushi my brother tried was also pretty tasty though he had to guess at what the rolls were a bit. Overall, the food was hit or miss, but I've been told that quality pre-COVID was much better. My brother as someone who can eat a lot in one sitting and enjoys most foods really gets what he pays for when he comes here, but as a Vegetarian I really didn't feel like the price was worth it for what I got. read more

I don't know what fairy tale buffets you have frequented in the past but in my mind this is a solid 4 stars - decent variety, good quality, made to order Hibachi grill and clean. Food choices are typical Chinese buffet fare with a solid side menu of Americana. Sushi is acceptable. The decor is clean and bright and the staff are attentive. The price is right for what they offer. My only gripe would be the amount of space given over to the salad bar and fruits - I would like to see more Chinese food up there. Ok, this place probably drove 1/2 the residents of WS crazy in anticipation with the length of time it took this place to open...which resulted in heightened expectations that were unfortunately not met. I found it to be only a titch of an upgrade to your standard Chinese buffet. Sushi was decent, but the poor sushi maker was having issues keeping up with demand despite cranking them out as fast as he possibly could. Hibachi also was good and happy to see a good variety of veggies available including napa cabbage, but the sauces were just OK. I found the selections on the main bars to be the most disappointing. Everything seemed to be pretty run of the mill Chinese buffet food and the majority of the selections gave me the impression that they spent part of their lives in a freezer. The best 2 dishes for me were the scallion shrimp and sliced whole flounder (just be sure to check for pins on the latter). My husband insisted on coming here for his birthday just to try it. Sure, fine, whatever. It's a nice-looking place, however the food's a different story. I recognized half the items at the buffet as store-bought items. I swear, they had Checkers fries, and mini cupcakes from Walmart in the dessert section! Another thing I noticed is that quite a bit of food was either stale or undercooked. My husband somehow managed to find fresh veggies, and later got a slice of pepperoni pizza(!). Wish I'd gotten that. He did alert me that there was a hibachi grill, so I made my way to the grill, fixed up a plate and had the chef fire it up for me. I was somewhat happier but could only finish about half my plate. Forget about dessert. I just had the complimentary fortune cookie.
