For the price, this place met my expectations. I wasn't blown away. But, I did have some tasty sushi rolls. We went mid-afternoon on a Thursday, so it was off hours. They weren't busy, but the entire buffet was well stocked with a variety of Chinese and Japanese food. I tried the crab rangoon, salmon, cheese mussels, fried scallops, and a variety of sushi. I tend to prefer cooked sushi (ie. crab) and just loved the options. There were California rolls, Philadelphia rolls, and specialty rolls. Nothing was labeled, so you had to eyeball it. I had a couple of really delish specialty rolls. I didn't like the fried scallops (overcooked) and the salmon (also overcooked), but did really enjoy the cheese muscles and crab rangoon. There was a hibachi station too, but they were closed for most of our visit. I tried a some of the desserts and liked the coconut macaroons. The mousse was a little waxy, but we did enjoy everything else. They cleared plates quickly and at $15 per person for lunch, it was a great deal. In spite of not loving everything I tried, I would go again.

Finally found my way back here as part of my search to find solid American-Chinese food in the Winston area. There are a couple of very good restaurants with some traditional dishes that soar above the typical buffet or take out places - New Sichuan and Sampan. The food here is that of the average Chinese buffet - few items that are truly bad, and even fewer that are really good. This buffet remains about variety and quantity , and quality is the victim. Unless you are solely looking for quantity, you are better served at one of the better take out places like Mr Lus, or a trip to Bermuda Run for a sit down at Jade Garden.

Your basic chinese buffet. Styrofoam bowls for what is actually decent hot & sour soup. Not a bad selection for veggies, noodles and rice.

A sample of their sushi section!

If you are by the mall and you need a quick meal that makes everyone happy, stop here! I am a Sushi lover so this place is perfect for me. I get to try several different roles without committing to one role (like most places). The staff is kind and attentive so you can get in and out quickly!

The cleanest Asian buffet I've ever visited (and I like those spots). Tin Tin is a great spot for lunch and dinner and is seriously nice... The COVID precautions are definitely in place. While I appreciate the effort, I doubt the plastic gloves you have to wear at the buffet do much. But, I'm not a scientist and it's easy enough to wear some gloves. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves at the buffet and I watched them enforce it. The variety here is solid! It's a big buffet. You'll find something you like. They have a great selection of your traditional Asian buffet items, sushi (good sushi), deserts, some American food, hibachi, you name it. I can't say any of it is "the best I've had," but it's consistently and good and the big variety is a win. I've honestly never left here less than stuffed. You could actually eat really healthy here if you chose. They have great salads and fruits and healthier meat options. Personally, I go in for all the chickens...general tso, honey, wings, teriyaki, on a stick, pepper, and on and on. It's a value win! At $15 for dinner buffet (including sushi!), you'll be hard pressed to find a better value. Just go hungry because you'll want to try it all!

The buffet was okay, standard stuff. The sushi, however, was great! Good pricing and good service. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Fun Asian theme walking in the door with dragon statues. Good variety at the buffet. Most of the standard items and a few new things.

How much is the dinner buffet?

Last time I was there, it was $10.99 for an adult Monday through Thursday and $11.99 Friday through Sunday. Both prices are without crab legs, which really increases the price.

So, I…read morewill be close enough to stop by there after the doctor's appointment to hopefully get a container of noodles with broth to bring home for my dinner. Until recently, I was a regular at the buffet, my favorite buffet in the Charlotte area. However, lately I have been suffering from gout, so it makes no sense for me to go there. The broth for their seafood soup is fantastic, and I could certainly just have broth and noodles, so I decided to call there to see how much their big soup container of just broth and noodles would be. I've been surviving on food stamps and have to be very careful with my cash. The first call, the woman who answered the phone did not know what the cost would be and asked me to call back in 5 minutes, which I did. I explained that I only wanted broth and noodles, no seafood, no meat, no veggies. I was told that it would be $2.75, which I thought was fair, and so I went there and bought exactly that for $2.75, and it was very good! So, yesterday, Monday 10/20/25, I was close to the buffet again and decided to get another broth and noodles for $2.75. I get the same thing again, it is the same cashier as last Friday. She puts the soup in a bag and ties it up, and then attempts to charge me $4.98!!! WTF? I said no, you charged me $2.75 for the same thing three days before. It is ONLY broth and noodles. She had a "take it or leave it" attitude about it, and I left the soup there and left the building, maybe to never return again after that experience. And it was there lost because they aren't going to separate the broth from the noodles and put it back in the pot, so it was wasted. What a shame! I got home and had an avocado for dinner last night.

Food was not fresh, like old reheated food. Place was run down. Staff was friendly.read more

My newest food fixation is the Sesame Cauliflower from Peppers in Jamestown. I cannot stop thinking…read moreabout it. The perfectly cooked soft center, the crisp exterior, and the sticky ssssaaaaauce it's covered in... It's savory and heavy enough to be a meal but I was being generous and decided to share the appetizer with my spouse. They do offer a spice scale and they don't hold back. I foolishly tried the spice level 3 (out of 5 being the hottest) and should have chosen a 2 spice level. But the cauli was so good I fought through the pain. Worth it. I could have easily stopped there but we also ordered the garlic naan (also yessssss) as well as the Lamb Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. Both those entrees were delicious but the Korma really stood out to me. The rich and creamy sauce was very unique to my pallet and when I returned, I ordered the Chicken Korma. Clearly I love a good sauce. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and would be great for groups or a romantic dinner for 2 (or 3 if you are into that sort of thing). The service was excellent and our server was patient when we ask questions about the menu. Fortunately, a lot of the dishes have descriptions on the menu so you have a good idea of what you are ordering. Looking forward to returning to Peppers again .... for the cauliflower... and the naan....

It…read moreis definitely my new favorite Indian restaurant, and even in my top 5 local restaurants in general! From the moment we walked in the door, the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. We were seated immediately, and given time/space to look over the menu, but with our server still hovering nearby in case we had questions or were ready quickly. When we ordered, the server explained the 1-5 spice scale, gave recommendations, and even asked about allergies. After the food came out, he continued to check on us. This is definitely not one of those "abandoned in the corner and ignored" type of establishments. We started with an order of chili paneer, with spice level 2. It was perfectly crunchy and super flavorful. Level 2 has a nice kick to it if you sit for a minute between bites, but it doesn't necessarily light you up either. It is a great level if you're sharing something with someone a little more spice-hesitant. I love paneer, and this appetizer had a generous portion that could easily be a meal for 1 person. For my main, I got the Chana masala, spice level 3. This was absolutely delicious! Spicy, warm, flavorful. Chickpeas had the perfect texture -- not too hard nor too mushy. As a spicy food enjoyer, level 3 was a nice level that is hot and ~just~ starts to make my face flush, but isn't overpowering. A "conversational" level if you will. I could easily order this on a work lunch and could still eat with decorum. We also got garlic naan, which is always a hit, but done absolutely perfectly here. Pillowy, soft, fresh, and generous with the garlic.
