This is my favorite nail place!!!!! I have gone to many nail salons, and Tina's is by far my favorite. The staff, including Tina, are always friendly. I have never had a bad service...no chip manicures, pedicures, and eye brow waxing. The prices are excellent, too. I am a no chip manicure addict. They do them perfect!! Every time!! they look natural, and it always lasts a minimum of 2 weeks, but I've had to push it to 4 weeks a couple times and it has always help up. read more

Visiting from out of town and took a chance on a random Saturday morning. I had a great gel pedi (massage wasn't anything special but I was happy with the quality of the pedi). I also did dip with gel and tips. They did amazing and I felt great. Tina is so kind and checked in with my several times to make sure I was doing okay and liked everything along the way. I went to Tina's for the first time yesterday. I've been getting my mani pedis in the area for years and decided to try this place. When she took off my toe nail polish she told me I had fungus on my nail. She worked a good hour on trying to cut off as much of the infected nail as possible and put medication on it. I had noticed my one toe nail didn't look right and had asked at previous places and they said it was because I have them polished all the time. I believed them. Love this place. I've been going to Jim and Tina for about 15 years and would highly recommend it. I always get the no-chip manicure and a regular pedicure. They do an excellent job every single time and Tina also does excellent waxing. Everything is clean and easy. I look forward to my pedicures in the massage chair. Yes, it's clean, at first everyone seemed friendly and I had decided to go here based on the great yelp reviews. I'm not sure if the manager was just having a bad day or what but I had a pretty bad experience. The only thing well done was the pedicure, which was yes amazing - very relaxing. For the manicure, half way through a manger started a conversation with the technician in another language about my nails and how much the job should cost based on a very small amount glitter/sparkles dabbed on to the tips. I was not told by the technician when I requested a little glitter that it would cost the same as a French manicure/pedicure! There was nothing in the brochure mentioning a charge for glitter or two colors as some will price glitter. Other salons I have been to never have charged me extra for glitter/sparkles. Colored nails with a dab of glitter is NOT a "French Manicure". The price change really ruined the experience for me and I think the manager noticed I was unhappy, which stressed out the technician and she became more rough with my manicure, overly cutting my cuticle, rushing with the paint, then not correcting a mistake I pointed out. Even though I had asked to have it fixed, I was told it "looked ok, no need to fix". When I went to pay and tip (I always tip well, people depend on tips especially when it is slow!), my tip amount was announced out loud, then I was told by the manager that I "did not have to pay extra for glitter/sparkles added to my nail tips this time, but would next time I came" The manager did fix the nail that was botched due to rushing, which was very sweet of her to notice and fix-however- it felt more like an inconvenience for her and at that point I just wanted to leave. Considering I was one of two people getting my nails done (aka it wasn't even busy) this bothered me. Most disappointing: Two days and my nails have chipped completely, I had wanted this to last at least one week for a really important event so I had been very careful not to expose them to water/lotions so I assume they were not sealed to last. I never been to this salon before. Usually I go to one in orland park. But the day I went they were busy and I didn't want to wait so I chose to try out Tina's nails. I got a mani pedi and I asked for a coffin shape nail. The nails were SQUARE. And I got charged an extra 10$ because I wasn't sure how coffin looks since i was trying it out for the first time. It didn't look any different than what I usually get. A few days after my mani pedi my feet start getting gross. Now they are peeling and they burn and itch. I got ATHLETES FOOT from there. I've never had this happen before and I got pedis regularly. I will never go back here again! The paint job on my acrylics were shitty and didn't look professional at all. Horable job. I went there because my regular technician was busy & I had too wait. So I decided to try new place. They got me right the way. The only thing that my French manicure have not lasted even a couple of hours. The used some sort of top coat that made lines on each finger and it started to chip right the way. I had to leave on a trip early in the morning, so I had no time to go back. It was embarrassing to even show my nails, so I had to remove all my nail polish. Great, my $19 French manicure was worthless. P.s it should cost only $17 ( they reg manicure cost $12 and French extra $5. So do the math. $17 or $19?) but he told me $19. I had to have it redone the next day. It costed me double. It was 3 people working on that day. 2 women and a male. I had male Chinese. Would never go back there again. The staff at Tina's are always very pleasant and provide great salon services. I've had both manicures and pedicures done here and have always been happy with the service and quality. Their staff is especially great with kids and I have brought my nieces here as part of a pamper day. They were patient with the girls who had "tickly" feet and made them have a great experience. The pedicure massage chairs are nice however they do get a little "friendly" on the seat part so you may want to opt to not turn that section on... read more

The finest nail salon in Mokena. First and foremost, very clean facility that upholds exemplary sanitation of tools and equipment. Also provides quality service and top of the line nail products. okay let me tell you a little bit about my first expience ever at this shop. The OWNER did my nails and she did the shittiest job ever. I told her I did not like them because the gel didn't even stick to my nail and I wanted it removed and she said "no I do it for you already if you no like come back" ... But I just told her I didn't like them and wanted them removed and she went on to tell me how she has been doing nails for 20 years.. You think if you were doing nails that long you would at least be half decent at applying nails. Which she's not. She was talking about me to her co-workers and then wanted to charge me to SHAPE my nail. I get my nails done often and I have never had someone charge me to shape my nail let alone have such terrible service. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. read more

Just moved to Mokena and after a stressful move and unpacking a little TLC was in order. Found Tina's Nails through Yelp! and decided to give it a try. I got a no-chip manicure, which was done by the owner, Tina, and by far the BEST no-chip mani I've ever had. Two weeks and it still looks awesome! I also got a pedicure. Very nice - very relaxing. Not rushed. Nice chairs - good massage. Tina's is located in an older strip mall in Mokena but DO NOT judge by outside appearances. The inside is very clean, simplistic, but extremely functional. Prices are very very good!!! I am due for my next appointment. I will DEFINITELY be going back. read more

Worst place ever the first time I went nails broke off and they file your nails down to the skin ends up burning for weeks, then I got a crazy fungus and Tina said oh don't worry. Had to go to a different place to get that fixed! I have a few friends that have gone and the same thing happen. Will not be going back to them read more

Tina's Nails is a small, local nail salon. My daughter and I like to go there for pedicures and the no-chip manicures. The service is great and I received several compliments on my nails from my co-workers, family and friends. I would definitely recommend, their work is amazing. read more
