I was looking on the internet and chose your Tindol Ford to help me decide on a SUV. I called on Saturday 25 -Tindol Ford and talk to the lady that handles the calls, she was very nice and forward me to Mike Hudson. Mike was very helpful and assisting with my needs, I gave him several SUVs to check on and Mike called me back in a short time and gave me the information I needed. I called back and the lady that answer the phone new my voice and name and told me who I was talking to ( since you had 2 Sales Person name Mike and I forgot Mike last name.) We came down 25-Saturday late and looked and drove 2 SUVs and the other Ford Escape SUV was being sold when we got there. Mike told me about another 2012 Ford Escape Escape XLT SUV that just came in and to come back Monday 27th. So we came down and drove the Ford Escape Escape XLT and then we drove another 2013 Ford Escape 4 cylinder but has power of 6 cylinder to compare. I liked the 2012 Ford Escape Escape XLT so we brought it. The man at the Door greeted us and spoke to us, was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Roland Hamner help us with information regarding how to use the Sirrus and SYNC and to call him if we have any questions on the vehicle. Eddie Pittman also help Mike Hudson with some question to setting up our account. Corey helped us regarding the finance and we came back down Tuesday to redo the finance with the Extended Warranty and the Gap. We paid $4000.00 down on the loan and my husband felt like we just use the $4000.00 for other expenses and not paying down on the cost of the car. We decided to drop the Gap and Corey helped us with a coupon to reduce the Extended Warranty thanks to Corey for helping us. Now all is well and we enjoy the 2012 Ford Escape Escape XLT and thanks to Mike Hudson for thinking about the SUV if it wasn't for him I don't know if we would still be looking for an SUV or went somewhere else. read more

My wife and I just picked up are second Subaru from Tindol Subaru. Our first was a 2014 Outback, and now a 2016 Legacy. In both cases, the staff went out of their way to find, and get us the car we wanted, while always offering us the best price from anyone one the East Coast. Subaru's are in high demand nowday's. Tindol Subaru may not have the exact car you want, but they will go the extra mile to do a dealer trade with another dealer, who may be several hundred miles away, to get you the car you want. If you can wait, then by all means order the exact car you want, and knowing you will get the best price. I have used their service department for routine service, and never had any problems. Also, Tindol Subaru does not "add on", extra packages that are basically worthless, and just inflate the price to you the buyer. This has become a common thing in the Charlotte area, and I will walk out of any dealer who tries to do "add on's" A small dealership, but big on doing the right thing. read more

I had an excellent experience at Tindol Ford/Subaru. I worked with a man named Doren Moore on the Subaru side of things and another gentleman for financing (however I forget his name). Both men were very knowledge and kind, and most importantly, they were invested in my particular situation and wanted to ensure that I was satisfied and informed about my purchase. I have had my car for a little under a week, I ended up going with a Subaru Crosstrek, and I couldn't be happier. My favorite part of the experience working with Tindol was when Doren did a 'big reveal' of my car. We had agreed upon a price and other details of the exchange earlier in the day. When I finally arrived to Gastonia from Greenville, Doren had my car around the side of the office and was very excited to show me the features of the vehicle. I just bought a new 2018 Ford F150 here. The sales person I dealt with was Mike Brown who was excellent. I liked that pricing and negotiating at this dealership was a transparent process with none of the stereotypical shenanigans. The staff was very professional, not high pressure and quoted a fair price that was good until someone bought the vehicle or Ford changed their cash back offer so again, no pressure to buy right away. They were also willing to show and price whatever I was interested in, understood my budget limitations, and did not try to sell up to a higher model. In short, could not ask for a better experience. And, they completed the paper work quickly, did a final cleanup and had us on our way in not much more than an hour. The bonus is that if you are a car lover, this dealership is a neat place to look around with Roush vehicles galore, a couple of Bullit mustangs and even a Shelby. read more

While the sales area was busy with other customers and sales associates, these two stayed remained focused on meeting our every need. Mike Gomes made my experience the best i have ever had. I live in Asheville nc and he made it well worth the drive to get my new F150 from him... I just bought a 2016 F150 Platinum from Tindol. I live in South Carolina and traveled 50 minutes to come to this dealership. I found the experience to be relatively painless. The salesperson and sales manager were helpful and did not pressure. They took the time when I came back with my wife the next day (was also looking at the Silverado) to go through the trucks again. We came down to a Limited and Platinum. The Limited would have cost several thousand more, but the salesperson did not pressure that sale and actually helped me choose the less expensive truck. They had neither truck on the lot so there was no incentive for them to steer me to either one. They installed the extra non-Ford accessories I wanted with no issues. BUYERS BEWARE of this dealership. I purchased a used Ford Escape from this dealership in 2021 with a little under 55,000 miles. First of all, the finance department charged an outrageous interest rate For the loan. I went to my bank within a month and refinanced the deal at a fraction of what they were charging. Nothing but trouble with this vehicle to include having to pay $6300 last year for a new transmission and now just found out that it needs a new engine. A complete lemon. If you are purchasing a used car from this dealership, make sure that you hire an independent machanic to first inspect the car before you purchase. Do not put your trust in this dealership. Outstanding customer service. In and out in two hours for an oil change with additional transmission flush, cooling sys flush, tire rotation and a complimentary truck wash to top it off. Can't say enough about Natalie Tindol and her team, from being greeted at the door with a smile from the receptionist to a friendly hello from Natalie. Sam Shokri was my primary service advisor with Lisa Fischer assisting with her usual high standard of efficiency. Chris Tolbert as Service Manager is always available if a problem pops up and you can be sure he is all about solving it. The afternoon was completed with a handshake from Sam on my way out the door. First visit. Thus far, satisfied. I had an appointment, they took my car in and I was out within the hour. I even got a rebate on the service...excellent. Although when I first walked into the service room, I was a little put off as no one acknowledged me and there were 3 service personnel in the office. I had to approach a woman and excuse myself twice before she acknowledged me. I was just talking to another customer in the waiting area about it and I guess there was a manager standing nearby and he overheard and stated that he would talk to them and I guess he did because when I left, those same people were more than accommodating. Randy Hartsoe worked with me to get the truck repaired, obtain a rental car and set up a convenient appointment. He and his staff were very pleasant to deal with. I came to the dealership leaning heavily towards wanting to special order a Shelby GT350, but Jody Sexton and Lyle Sturgis educated me on the 'technical' differences between the Shelby and Roush mustangs, and the test drives convinced me that the Roush stage 3 was the car that best met my needs.
