More like 2.5 stars #SERVICE review The issue: * Poor communications * Disregard for chosen contact selections (e.g. only email or text. And, they'll call) - Our most recent interaction involved a phone call that wasn't asked for. But no worries. For whatever reason, folks seem to not believe I know my tire size or I'm just a confused girl/woman. Shrug. - During the call, I was asked to send a photo of my tire. Amazingly they didn't have record on my tire size on file although we've been patronizing them for a year. No worries. I asked "Please email me so I can reply directly." Later that day = no email. So, I called and replied to the texts received. Next day = no email. I made an appointment, ONLINE, and marked email. See screenshot b But someone that suspect isn't the same point of contact that I had been speaking to... called me. I trust the same person texted when I didn't answer the call. Y'all it is cumbersome to call around and not reach folks. It's annoying to not have instructions followed. It can be deemed dismissive and rude not to have requests honored. In all, I decided to go another way. Things are real at work as all but 3 folks including me are at work and didn't take off. It's the holidays and like everyone else ... I have my own things to do. And work. And, manage repairs. In all, I was turned off by the lack of attention and running around. Maybe next time. UPDATE: I DO BELIEVE Kaitlyn is the go to lady. I love my car, but I'm very disappointed in the service. I was quoted one price brought the car in and got the pay a lot more. Then my first oil service was supposed to be free. They charge me $94 for it. There seems to be a disconnect with communications there, and when I picked up my car which was supposed to be washed and vacuumed as they offered that also was not done. Just as a warning make sure you have everything in agreement before you do any business with them. They seem to say one thing and do something else be very careful using their service department. read more

Williams Subaru gave me a great deal on my brand new 2026 Subaru Outback last week. I shopped around, asked millions of questions and narrowed negotiations down to 3 dealerships, one was 3 hours away in Conway, SC and I was going to make a 6 hour round trip to buy there as they beat the price I got from Randy Marian Subaru, it wasn't by much, but I was going to make that trip on principle because the salesperson from Randy Marion that I was dealing with was being a smart @ $ $ and I didnt care for his attitude, and wanted to spend my money somewhere that appreciates my business and works hard to earn it. Thank goodness I decided to take one last look at local dealerships because I found that at Williams Subaru. They were very nice and answered so many questions without a hint of annoyance (I annoyed my own self with all my questions). I worked closely with the general sales manager, Arielle, at first, who is phenomenal and I can easily see why she is in that position. Then I worked with my salesperson Alyssa, who was equally amazing. They both have been blessed with patience to have survived through a customer like me! They respected my initial request for no phone calls, text and emails only as I was at work and cant be bombarded with multiple calls from multiple dealerships there. We worked 90% of the deal through text messages and they got me a great deal with the understanding I wasn't adding ANYTHING extra in finance. They were fine with that and did not push me at all. Once we worked the final deal, I talked to my husband and my son before coming and decided I was open to extended warranties, if I could get a good price, and I brought it up at financing. Tyler, my finance guy (who is the most "not pushy" finance guy you ever met) got me a great deal on a 8 yr/80,000 warranty and Security Plus (interior/exterior protection). I got rain guards and a $75 gift card for test driving the car, not to mention all the little cows they gave me. Ohhh, and it also saved me a 6 hour round trip to Conway to get the car I was going to get the following day. The one in Conway beat the price on the other one in Charlotte, Randy Marian, by a few hundred dollars, and I was going to make the trip on principle, and go out of my way, because of the way the salesman acted towards me at Randy Marian. I'm just so glad I took a second look and was led to Williams Subaru! I got the best deal of all 3, by far, and was treated very well, and it truly was the best car buying experience I've ever had! They are a great group of people, very efficient and I will refer them to anyone in the market I know, in the Charlotte, NC area. On a side note, my coworker asked me where I got my new Subaru this morning and when I told her she said she got her last one, the one she has now, there too. She feels the same way about Williams Subaru and the people who she's come across there. I haven't had any dealings with the service department yet of course, but she said she always brings her car for service there. She said they obviously have a low turnover because she always sees the same people back there and they are very fairly priced and great people to work with. So from front to back Williams Subaru is the best choice in the Charlotte area to buy a car from!​ I am very satisfied and extremely happy with my new car!!! I have not purchased many cars in my life, and this was my first Subaru, but I must assume that my experience at Williams was top notch. I bought my BRZ completely online and the process and communication could not have been easier. However, this paled in comparison to the experience once I arrived to take delivery,. I coordinated with the sales team to plan a trip to Charlotte (I live in Raleigh) and they were very easy to work with. There was still a fair amount of trying to upsell me various admins, but probably less than there would be elsewhere. I bought my Subaru Forester here and took my car in for service for the first few years. NEVER AGAIN will I take it here!!! The last time I took it in for an oil change, they decided to take it upon themselves to rotate the tires, and took the wheels off. When they put the wheels back on, they cross threaded a lug nut and the bolt broke off when my husband was changing the tire because of a flat. To fix will cost me over $300 The second and worst offense is they tried to strong arm me into getting a $1200 brake job. Telling me that my brake pads were down to a one, and that they were dangerous. I thought that was really odd because I had not had any issues with my brakes. When I took my car in somewhere else to get the flat tire plugged, I asked them to check out the brakes, where they have told me that the brake pads are at a five and six, and I have plenty of life left in them. How can I trust a company that is trying to strong arm me into getting work done on my vehicle that I do not need? I can't!! ADDITIONAL INFO: I had the windshield wiper fluid light on for ages, took it to Williams Subaru asked them to fix it. They told me it was an electrical problem and would cost me a lot to get done so I chose not to do it. When I took my car into Firestone on Park Road for the flat tire, they changed the wiper pump for me and low and behold the wiper fluid light went off. So Williams Subaru screwed me on AT LEAST 3 repairs read more

It all started with a chatbot inquiry on Williams Subaru in Charlotte, NC about a used Ford Escape 2020 SE and Stephanie from internet sales followed up first thing on Monday morning and I told her my requirements for a salesperson and she set me up with Maggie Fore. When I met Maggie, she had a great smile and greeting and Stephanie made sure I was with the right salesperson. Maggie proceeded with showing the car, test drive, and when it was time to negotiate, she was my advocate when she spoke with Aaron Ballentine (Sales Manager) to finalize a reasonable reduction in price. Aaron even wrote a note to say let us get this done! Maggie took down all my concerns along with Aaron to buff out the scratches and paint the scrapes. Afterwards, I met with Kaetlyn Sweatt (Business Manager) who was also very pleasant, great smile, and attitude in making the closing of the deal as smooth as possible without pushing any extra fees or add-on sales. In fact, Kaetlyn made sure that the signing process for my wife was as short as possible. At the time of delivery and pick up, Maggie made sure it was the shortest time, and had Josh (Sales Manager) expedite any paperwork. My wife was pleasantly surprised with how smooth, short, and painless the entire buying process along with even a full tank gas at delivery. When I inspected the car touch-ups for the paint scratches, it was above and beyond performed by the body shop because Maggie Fore made sure it was impeccable. The scratches were not just touched up but fully painted and the car was buffed to remove any other light scratches! The detail performed on the car was immaculate. Maggie truly delivered and if it was not for her, that started with Stephanie assigning the right salesperson, this purchase would not have occurred. I went to Williams Subaru with my daughter to get her car serviced. While there, I came into contact with two amazing people. LT Thompson and Jonathan Macias. Jonathan quickly came to the car and greeted us. He opened and held the door s for us (goin inside and coming back out). Jonathan took the time to go over the details of the findings. My daughter and I felt informed and knowledgeable about next steps. He explained brake pad life left, tire depths, fluids, filters, and such. If the constant attempt at up-charging weren't bad enough, I guess I'm to assume "making an appointment" in their eyes consists of showing up on time to be ignored by 4 employees as they allow you stand at the service check-in desk indefinitely. I had an appointment in this place to test drive a WRX and get an estimate on my 2019 jeep Cherokee and start the trade-in procedure. they only had WRX manual transmission. so i asked the sales person helping to test drive it with me , he said no because they were short staff, although the floor was empty and he was assign to help me on my appointment. when i set on table i made a couple of comments about the cart and he didn't bother replying back, he acted like my presence was an inconvenience for him. II asked him again and he got angry, and replied very condescending. practically yell at me as i was getting in the car , i said Jesus F Christ and the sales guy overheard me When i came back from test-driving a different car, the manager was waiting for me outside with the employee, they both gang up , so she refused to give me service, and started an argument in the middle of a parking lot. she told me it was my fault because i was putting up a vibe. I think she meant to say the brown Hispanic vibe. This was a very smooth purchasing experience at Williams Subaru. I had purchased my previous Subarus at another local dealer, but didn't like the very aggressive approach of the new turnover of sales reps nor the lack of communication. So, I went to Williams to test drive one of the only available Outback Onyx trim levels in the area. Kaetlyn was very easy-going yet professional and let me test drive several different models and trim levels, including a Wilderness when it came in. I ordered my outback in December, and it was delivered as promised three months later (covid supply chain) . Going into the dealership was painless:there was no bullshit or mark ups. The finance department beat the rate I had already secured elsewhere, and they were not pushy with the add-ons, although presented them to me. Hannah was very approachable for after-purchase Q&A and took on the admin responsibility of notifying me when my tag and registration came in.This dealership had what I would expect as a "Subie.Vibe." Updating my review, not as a slight on Williams Subaru, but as a general warning again buying a new Subaru. I bought my outback new in 2020 and have been having problems with the entertainment console since day one. There are a lot of bugs, the most concerning of which is that the screen will periodically (pretty much every other drive) go completely black and things like my radio, AC, lane keeping assistance, collision avoidance, backup camera, etc, will not work. Every time I bring it in, I am told of a new software update that is supposed to fix everything. Every time, the issues are back the same day. I wish I would have read these reviews before I bought a vehicle from this dealership. I went to this dealership to purchase a used vehicle. I guess I should have known better being a single woman alone buying a car but I feel they saw me coming from a mile away. Being the first car I have purchased by myself I did not do I full inspection of the vehicle since I was handed a paper saying everything was checked and would pass inspection. During my 50 minute drive home I notice that I had a head lamp out. OK, that's an easy fix. I stopped the next day at Autozone to buy a replacement head lamp. The gentleman offered to install it for me. When he pulled the bulb out of the socket, the socket was so corroded that a piece actually broke off. This required me to purchase the replacement wiring socket which luckily a mechanic friend installed for me (after the utter shock that I purchased a vehicle from a dealership and this was a problem that needed to be fixed within the first 5 days of ownership). We then went on to check the other bulbs. Total: passenger head lamp(11.99 + 15.99 wiring socket), driver side parking bulb (5.99), license plate bulb (3.99) and BOTH fog lights (29.99 a piece) were not functioning. I feel this is unacceptable for a vehicle that was just purchased. I emailed my salesman with my concerns but haven't received a response in 23 days and emailed the dealership via the website 12 days ago with no response so I feel I need to share my experience. Also, instead of giving me a deal, they just found me an extra long loan period from a financer which I didn't even think was possible, but I am still receiving rejection letters from places they submitted my name. Nice.... Everyone was nice that I dealt with but again, I feel there was probably some chuckles as i pulled off the lot. Be smart and do your research before purchasing a vehicle from any dealership. Purchasing a new car here is hassle-free and straight forward. The most important thing to me when walking in a dealership is that I don't get attacked by eager sales people. We were treated with respect, all our questions answered, but were able to leave without having to give up all our info or answer the standard: "What will it take to get you in a car today?". Sales person Quan was so easy-going and pleasant that we decided to purchase our next car from this dealership. On our way out we met manager Shawn and she confirmed that sales managers don't need to be pushy to get clients. Six months later we purchased the car. I do recommend, to any one, at any dealership, to be informed on features and add-ons and pricing options, that's a given. But it's nice to work with a sales person and sales manager who won't try and fleece you. The process of buying a car is never fun, but at least at this dealership, with people like Quan, Shawn and LT, you feel like a valued client, not a mark. We've also been to the service department twice, for our old Subaru, and both times it was chill and professional. read more
