Shrimp & grits (I asked for sauce on the side), hot honey chicken sandwich, pecan French toast, & birthday drink

I think I found my new favorite restaurant on the West side! Nice R&B music playing, friendly staff, and great food too. The shrimp & grits were amazing and my mom loved her hot honey chicken sandwich. We're already planning on going back, and I'm hoping to convince some friends to join me for one of their Sunday parties too.

If you're looking for the ultimate brunch vibe in El Paso, look no further than Sneaky Linq. This place isn't just a restaurant; it's a whole mood that starts the moment you walk through the door. The absolute standout feature of Sneaky Linq is the incredible energy of the staff. From the hosts to the servers, everyone radiates genuine kindness and enthusiasm. We felt instantly seen, incredibly warm, and truly welcomed--like we were invited to a best friend's Sunday feast rather than just dining at a local spot. It's rare to find a team that feels this much like a family, and that joy is totally infectious. The menu is a love letter to Southern comfort, executed with serious skill from the owner being from North Carolina! Here were our absolute favorites: Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich: This is a masterclass in balance. The chicken is perfectly crispy and juicy, drizzled with a hot honey that provides just the right amount of "kick" without overpowering the flavor. Chicken and Waffles: A classic done right. The waffles are light and airy, providing the perfect canvas for that savory, golden-fried chicken. It's soul-warming food at its finest. You can't talk about Sneaky Linq without mentioning the Mimosa Flight. It is as beautiful as it is delicious! It's the perfect way to sample different flavors and adds that extra sparkle to the meal. Whether you're celebrating something special or just celebrating the weekend, this flight is a must-order. The bartender as gave us several free drinks for us to try. Truly wonderful!!

Don't let the outside fool you. Once you are inside the place is amazing!! I went on a Thursday 3 others. Music was some really good classic R&B variety. The service was fast. Server friendly and gave some good recommendations. Only reason I can't give the 5th star was for the fact that no oxtail and Mac and cheese were available. Will say maybe cause it was a Thursday or maybe the menu is rotating. But the food we had was amazing!!! Everything pictured was just so delicious. The grits are so buttery that o couldn't get enough. The Salmon was so big and flavorful and that sauce over everything!!! Making my mouth water writing this. Definitely recommend!!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally did. It is so worth it! The food was fresh and flavorful. The service was good. The overall vibe of the place was nice. It gave sports bar vibes with tv's all around. It wasn't very busy as it is a newer place and It is a little pricey but definitely worth it. It had freshness and flavor you can't get anywhere else. The fish wasn't fishy, the chicken had a nice breading and flavor, the grits were stone ground, and the waffles were fluffy. The drinks looked delicious. Will be going back.

On this particular day we visited when the kitchen was closed so we had to focus on a liquid appetizer to say. This establishment has you feeling like you've been transported to another city and it really feels like a mini vacation spot. The drink menu is something to admire as they were really thought out and well curated. It was in all the details from presentation to garnishes. My partner had a frozen beverage that was a personal fave of his and really enjoyed the fresh ingredients he could taste. I can't wait to come back and explore the menu.

I ordered "La Sirena" and it came in the cutest mug w a mermaid tail. Then a margarita martini (SOO good). I started with the Tiradito and Aguachile appetizers. Both FRESH and very flavorful. I enjoyed the spice my one the most. From there moved on to the fish tacos and the potatoe fingerlings side. Can I just say WOW ! The fish was fresh and not frozen. I was actually impressed with the quality . Only two come per order but pretty filling. I don't even like potatoes or fries but however the chef seasoned them and prepared the green sauce on the bottom was perfection! The service was amazing especially from Eddie the bar manager - he was engaging and knowledgeable of mixology. Truly put love into all of our drinks. Highly recommend. It's an upscale spot that's a must try!!

So I, of course, feeling the need always to explore new cocktail bars or restaurants in my hometown when visiting home, was pretty excited for the opportunity to check out Hush Hush. As a true millennial Gemini, I celebrate my birthday for the whole month, so I quickly texted my family and friends; this is where I wanted to go. What I love about Hush Hush is how it's encouraging and pushing folks to step out of their comfort zone in their attire and dress more to the vibes of this cocktail house (Think Soho, ABA, Casablanca, and Elephante). You're bound to see more desert tones, muted colors, flowy pants, basically anything resort wear. It's cool to see this cocktail house make you feel like you're not in El Paso. The music is different, more loungey, to where you can hear everyone at your table. Of course, there's still a DJ, but damn, Hush Hush is intentionally geared for those who love to go out but need top-shelf cocktails without the eye rolls or the bartenders staring at us with blank eyes. Hush Hush is a true game changer. The lines might get crazy, but I suggest getting there early so you can snag your photos and a solid table/spot. There are three main bar areas, but my fave was the velvet room. I suggest catching a drink on the second floor if you get there early enough to get an eagle eye's view of the establishment. Attention to detail was on point, and I appreciated the homework and research done before the opening of this spot. It's an elevated experience for the city and one I wish every city in the States had tbh.

That's the whole point of the establishment's existence. (No one else seemed to care about anything but hard seltzers and shots). The bartender said they could still make things from the previous menu, but they didn't have that available, either. She recommended two Jameson-based options, but could think of nothing else. So, I got a beer. I asked for any stouts or porters aside from Guinness, but there weren't any. I asked about one beer she said was "dark", but it was a Pilsner. I like pilsners, so I ordered it...but for the record, they are nothing close to a dark beer. I saw they had Crown Apple after I had started my beer and asked a different bartender if they had Coke Zero. I was told that when he wants a soda he goes to the bar next door. After an alarming number of exchanges, I learned that they DO have Coke, just not any diet varieties. Instead, I later chose a margarita. Yes, it's cute they serve it in a tea cup, but consider that tea cups are very small and there is ice, so it was almost a non-alcoholic beverage. DJ was cool, but, "all night disco" was really some mashup of a few disco/funk songs with some 90s hip hop and a good deal of 80s pop mixed in. Now, it was crazy FUN, but not what I was expecting. Definitely won't be back. I know there is the charm of drinking at grandma's, but it's really just a lousy hipster dive bar with thrift store art on the walls. The second star is just for having a fun dj (brought in a fun crowd).
