Great local spot for Italian food with nice staff. It wasn't very busy on a Thursday night, which was ideal for a nice quiet evening. My favorite dish by far was the carbonara, which was very creamy and came out piping hot. The mussels were good--I loved the broth but with the mussels themselves were a bit bigger. The pork chop was good as well, especially around the fatty areas, but still a little dry in the middle. The price is also very affordable which really makes this a great value restaurant for me.

The food was amazing & so was the sangria. Food was hot and delicious, went on a Monday night so it wasn't crowded and service was good, food came relatively fast. The decor is very intimate and relaxing, definitely has a good energy to the spot.

This place was very refreshing for the neighborhood. This by far eats a standard for Hamilton Heights, they show class and quality with service, food and wine. I'd definitely recommend this place, I'll surely be back

Wine list is also pretty good!

Delicious, great service. We had the squid ink pasta, linguini and clams, and lobster ravioli. Wonderful!! Great new spot!

Crispin's Hell's Kitchen has moved to West Harlem/Hamilton Heights and it is better than ever. The Italian Kitchen is fresh, flavorful and bursting with all the fragrant herbs and tastes of an Authentic Italian Kitchen. From the homemade pastas to salads to the seafood and lamb, everything is perfectly seasoned and prepared. And the atmosphere is very warm, comfortable and inviting. And Crispin the owner and chef and his family and servers are warm, friendly and welcoming. I've been there for brunch, dinner and cocktail hour and it's always a great experience.

Delicious food, calming ambiance that felt very authentic to the vision of the restaurant. The servers are very kind and Crispin said hello to my party personally. Best Italian on Amsterdam and the prices are great!

{Overall: 5; Food: 5} Ambiance: 5; Service: 5…read more I loved everything about Ci Siamo. The ambiance is delightful. The restaurant is huge, but still feels warm and inviting. We sat on the patio, which was perfect for a summer day. We enjoyed everything we ate and were genuinely left wanting more by the end of the meal. *Cast Iron Focaccia: Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The tomato conserva alongside it was delicious. *Mortadella con Pistacchio: Simple and well executed. Great mortadella. *Escarole: Reminded me of a Caesar salad. The leaves were crisp and generously dressed, which I loved. *Braised Beans: I generally do not love beans, but I loved this dish. It felt like a hearty, comforting bean stew. *Rigatoni Alla Gricia: My favorite dish of the night. Rich and creamy with salty guanciale and perfectly cooked pasta. *Roasted Half Chicken: Usually chicken is not something I get excited about at restaurants because it can be bland, dry, or both. This was one of the best restaurant chicken dishes I have ever had. It was perfectly moist, incredibly well seasoned, and felt like a thoughtfully composed dish rather than just a piece of chicken on a plate. Even the white meat was tender, and the skin was fantastic. The service was excellent throughout the meal. Combined with the beautiful setting and consistently strong food, it made for a memorable dining experience.

WOW SO DELICIOUS!! hack to get a res is going for lunch lol…read more this meal was so yummy!! the perciatelli nero was bright, citrusy, and had an aftertaste of spicy (from the pepper i assume). the crab pieces were generous and buttery and the pasta seemed to be homemade and cooked al dente. very light and refreshing and the sauce was addicting. i think this pasta paired perfectly with the burger. definitely a heavier, decadent dish, but also surprisingly not too salty. the meat itself was fine but i thought the bun was so good especially since the bottom bun kinda absorbed the meat and cheese juice and the top bun stayed crispy and soft. potatoes on the side were fine. tbh i think this is the best meal ive had at an italian restaurant. and they gave us free gelato for my friend's birthday!!! great service, lots of seating (altho the tables were kinda sat pretty close together) and honestly a great place to catch up over a yummy meal.

Service was friendly and efficient! Apps: Roasted Mushrooms and Burrata Crostone - Both were beyond flavorful and delicious, but the mushrooms are a must order! They're so savory with a hint of spice and richness from the runny egg. 10/10! Mains: Garganelli, Cacio E Pepe, Roasted Carrots - all three of these dishes were incredible. The Garganelli had a rich mushroom ragu and the Cacio was perfectly rich and creamy. The carrots were a sleeper hit- the za'atar and pistachio put it over the top! Dessert: Olive Oil Cake - light and not too sweet. The fresh crème mousse was delightful. Overall, I loved my meal at L'Artusi! Can't wait to come back!

Water and excellent bread arrived immediately and the waiter was helpful describing dishes and giving advice. Salads were fresh and crisp. Caesar was nicely dressed and the mixed salad was a nice combination with well balanced herb vinaigrette. Seafood dishes had large amounts of fresh seafood and the veal picatta had the lemony flavor you expect without excessive acidity. Dessert was tasty and innovative. The ricotta based cheese cake wasn't as smooth as the cream cheese form but the citrus flavor was great. It works especially well for a mixed group since they have plenty of options including dishes without meat and everyone can find something. Even my picky niece and nephew were happy.
