This part is great. It's a hidden little sandwich shop in Canyon country. Used to go here as a kid to get $.25 ice cream cones that's not a thing anymore, but the sandwiches are still on point. I went into the shop craving a sandwich because it was close by and to say i had a bad experience. It's just an understatement. The employee at the front was very unhelpful. I told them it was my first time and they didn't care. I ended up getting turkey and cheese and veggies and they didn't even have a toaster. It was one of the worst sandwiches i've ever had. I used to come here way back when. And they are still here!! This is a small townsubshop, they make outstanding sandwiches here. They are about $10.50. Give them a try if your out in canyon country. Absolutely delicious and affordable. I payed about $13 for a giant Turkey sub. The presentation was great and the sandwich was filled so well it was bursting with juicy thick cuts of tomato layered neatly on top. I was so hungry and chowed down before taking a picture. However, we were waited on by a less than pleasant older woman who seemed annoyed that I did not know what I wanted until I read the menu. I'm so upset. Ive lived in SCV for nearly 16 years and I had just now FINALLY decided to stop by this absolute Gem of a restaurant. They have some sweet old school arcade games right as you enter, The OG indoor high school lunch tables, and the menu boards that have those place your own letters and numbers with the white backlight board. (That's how you know the foods about to be ) I placed my order with the very nice lady, and within 5 minutes the sandwich was made. It was absolutely delicious. so flavorful, bread was top notch and all meat was good quality! Best pastrami sandwich in SCV. The bread is soft and fresh, the pastrami is juicy and thin. Unlike other places that use tough dry pastrami. I always get mustard, pickles and tomatoes, nothing else. read more
