Didnt give me a ride home from the accident and charged me $600+ to tow my truck to mac haik ford (only 5 miles away). took them a week to tow it to repair shop too. charged me $50 just to send a automated letter telling me they towed my truck to Ford shop. I concider this borderline FRAUD & SUPER CROOKED. if you ever get into an accident call someone yourself and dont use this company. they say they "dont want to charge you an arm and a leg, they just want your tow". no they want all your money! read more

Great Job!! insurance wanted to use other tow company. They wanted me to wait 2 1/2 hours. I called Tip Tow. They arrived in about 15 minutes. Very professional, safe, did the job the right way. Used all appropriate safety chains, straps and did NOT damage my vehicle. Took very god care of me and my vehicle. read more

T.I.P. Tow was dispatched for my second call of the day through AAA. I had a battery that was dead and the first company sent, Stryker, was not interested in actually helping. Stryker just jumped it and didn't care if I'd have continued issues, which I did. When Tim P. from T.I.P. Tow saw the battery, he knew it needed to be replaced on the spot before even connecting his tester which showed it was shot. (AAA discontinued using that particular model) Tim also called me to let me know he was running "behind" even though he would still be on site within the time frame given by AAA. If you have a service need and are in their coverage area, be sure to call T.I.P. Tow or request them over other companies if you have AAA. I will be keeping their business card on hand. I hope I never have to call them again but will if I need to! read more

Tip Tow came out last week to tow my son's car to the dealership. Kenny checked a few things under the hood and found that the battery cables were loose, so he tightened them and it appeared to fix our issue. Kenny was courteous and knowledgable and I truly appreciate his candid advice. Unfortunately a short while later we had the same issue (car died and power steering went out) so they were dispatched out once again. Kenny came to our rescue once again and towed the car to the dealership. I HIGHLY recommend Tip Tow to anyone that needs towing services. My rental car had a flat on SH-45 at 10pm. While I was waiting on someone to come help me change the tire (injuries prevent me from doing it myself), here comes Isaac. He pulled over in his personal vehicle, changed my tire, made sure I was safe, all within 10 minutes. He even made sure to tell me the max speed to drive on a spare...something I didn't know. These guys are awesome. My car stopped outside Temple on Christmas Eve eve and roadside assistance sent Tip Tow. The guy showed up on time and put my car on the flatbed and we hopped in the cab. We had a very pleasant conversation all the way back to Georgetown where he helped us get our holiday food and presents out of the car. The next day Trey called to say the driver neglected to replace the eye hook cover but he would get one on the car. He forgot and so did I but a week later my hubby called and Trey made it happen the very next day. I trust these guys and would use them again. read more

Car was picked up and stored over the weekend in their facility before being towed 90 miles on a flatbed. They delivered it with a big crack in the windshield and a refusal to take care of it. Definitely avoid if you can. read more

I needed a flat-tow today to the car dealership for diagnostic service (the car would not start). AAA assigned the tow to TipTow of Georgetown, TX. The tow truck driver, George, was at our home within the hour of our request. The driver was able to diagnose that the battery was our issue. He was able to get the car started, showed us where (in the future) to hook up the battery charger, and recommended 3 places where we could get a new battery for our car. I really appreciated his recommendation, and he even followed my husband to the service center where we purchased a new battery. George, was very professional, helpful and we will definitely use TIP TOW in the future if we should ever be in need of help towing our vehicle. Thank you, George!!! :-) read more

Jose was amazing! Got connected with him through AAA. Undercarriage panel was coming off and dragging on the ground. I was not in a position to fix it myself and I didn't know enough to know if anything else was wrong. Instead of towing me 20 miles to the closest open shop on a Saturday (my coverage was only for 7 miles) he took off the panel and sent me on my way. Car was fine aside from that panel. My car wouldn't start. I called my insurance and they called Tip Tow. From the time I placed the call I barely had time to brush my teeth before I had a text they were nearby. Josh was very pleasant and tried a jump start but no go. He carefully loaded my 'baby' on the flatbed and made sure everything was tight and secure, taking pictures of all angles of the car to ensure any damage that may happen would have a before picture. We had a pair of steel cargo shipping containers we needed relocating. TipTow was the only company that responded locally with the equipment and experience to do this difficult 'shoe horn' of a 20' x 8' x8.5' container in a residential back yard. The process was a ballet of motion with an ideal result (I'm not kidding). The additional container was relocated about an hour from Austin. Scheduling was perfect. Pricing is very reasonable. I can honestly say the process with this company in their business is the absolute BEST there is. My wife and I had just finished dinner and were ready to drive home here in Georgetown but our vehicle wouldn't start. I called AAA and they set me up with Tip Tow. They were there in about 15-20 minutes and shortly afterwards dropped us (including our Siberian Husky) and the vehicle off at our home.
