It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Thank you for an amazing experience!

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

We waited quite a while before anyone came to our table, and even after that, every time we needed something, it took a long time to get assistance. We started with coffee, which was fine, but the service continued to be very slow. When my husband ordered the chicken burger with fries, we waited nearly 30 minutes, only to be told afterward that they had run out of fries. That was extremely frustrating, especially after such a long wait. The waiter did try to make up for it by offering us some desserts on the house, which was appreciated, but it didn't make up for the overall experience. Going out to eat should be enjoyable and relaxing, not a situation where you constantly have to chase down your server. The food I tried was okay, but the service and lack of organization really took away from the experience. It seems like management needs improvement. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

That level of attention really set a positive tone for the rest of the experience. The menu had several burritos that looked amazing, and I ended up ordering the Iberian burrito, which came with freshly fried croquettes inside--such a great touch. The portions are hearty and easily large enough to share. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant and the guava and cheese croissant, along with a latte. The coffee tasted good, though it could have been a bit hotter. Everyone in our group found something they loved, from smoothies and empanadas to breakfast sandwiches. While it's definitely on the pricier side for breakfast, it's pretty typical for downtown Miami. The space itself is cute and casual--you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Overall, despite the small reservation hiccup at the start, the staff made sure we had a great experience, and our whole party left happy with their meals.

I'd never tried Vietnamese coffee before - its coffee with sweetened condensed milk. To my surprise, it wasn't overly sweet. The flavors were perfectly balanced. The cheese was perfectly melted and gooey, and every bite was worth the wait. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito which contained egg, cheese, hash browns and avocado. Sable is chill, counter service and I visited two times during my visit to Miami, both times there was no wait/line which definitely a plus. The interior is cute, with a back room that turns into a night club but is open for eating & coworking in the day. I tried the turkey bagel and thought it was going to hit but it lacked something flavor wise, and I didn't love the hot sauce they had. However I also tried the corn pastry and that was really good. So maybe I just ordered wrong for my main dish!
