This is the second time I called in because my nails chipped within days of a gel (other time was a…read moredip). I made an appointment + had to wait over an hour with my nails soaking. I specifically asked if the time was good to get them fixed more than once and the owner kept saying, "yes, just come in". Then they make you wait and do not care if you remind them you made an appointment. I left work AND got a babysitter. This is very frustrating and not the first time.

Went today for the refund and the same technician said I could only get a refund if he cut them off. I agreed and he decided to cut the tip incorrectly and cracked the nail into my nail bed. He also stormed off once I expressed my concern and I had to cut them off myself. You can see the nails were already lifting from the cuticle. Unacceptable. Save your money.

I haven't tried any designs / nail art but am very pleased with the builder gel i have been getting. I'd rate a 4 overall only because after i get home i notice that my pedicures aren't perfection. The polish never covers my full toenails so when i look at the sides i see my bare nail. Maybe it's the pedicure service I'm selecting but that's not something i loveee after my services. I'll probably still hunt for another salon until i find THE one but this one will do for now.

I loved acrylics but they literally left my nails so weak, and gel was the same story. I've been with Shaneequa twice now and have only amazing things to say. Not only did my first round of gel last 3 weeks, they looked AMAZING for all 3 weeks. I actually could not believe it. The best part was that when Shaneequa removed the gel, my nails were SO STRONG. Literally the best and cheapest gel manicure downtown, I'm totally on the all-natural train now. Photo isn't amazing but she also did a great job with the little hearts. I cannot recommend this place enough- I think they do a significantly better job than places like Posh or the place on Gay St. Also this place is so cute and everyone is really friendly.

I got Gel X with tips. Tess was my nail tech and she was extremely friendly and very professional. They had many color and design options, and I love the way mine turned out. The staff was all so friendly and fun to talk to. They also had great music playing in the background and TV on. Would absolutely recommend!
