Worst manicure I ever received!! I booked an appointment online with Wendy. Appointment was 20 min behind schedule. She was on her phone and complaining about being tired. She did my manicure in 15 min!!!! She completely rushed it looks awful. It cost me $27.50 nice hourly rate for her or I mean 15min rate. My first time there was amazing! My nails looked fabulous and I didn't need a fill for almost a month! Of course I booked with the same Tech when I went back. She was busy so I got a gentleman who did my nails and they were meh. Not the best, not the worst. Today I needed some "me" time which I rarely get so, I booked an appointment for a pedicure and my nails. I went in and she again was unavailable. So, I got tag teamed and it was not an enjoyable experience. I was getting my nails done at the same time as my pedicure and I felt rushed. They were talking to each other and not me. They were unable to do what I wanted to achieve so I went with their recommendation. My nails turned out horrible. They are not shaped evenly, they are thick underneath and feel rough. Too expensive! Charges extra for shaping nails! Never ever had issues with toe nails until I got a pedicure here! Literally cut the sides of my toe nails and pulled it out in the side attempting to narrow my toe nail (big toe). Still in pain after 2 weeks. There are too many nail salons in grove city to spend too much money on mediocre service and unnecessary pain. read more

The Worst Nail Experience of my Life The nail tech cut me 8 times. My finger was bleeding multiple times. I told her it hurt. I also pointed out a spot where the dip was really uneven and asked her to buff it. She said "I see". But didn't fix it. She smudged the top coat and I was just over the experience. I asked her to please just buff them and not do a top coat. She FaceTimed a man who was in bed without a shirt on and had me tell him what I wanted. There was dip on my fingers well outside of the mail area. She then proceeded to charge me full price. I will NEVER return here and encourage you not to, as well. read more

Where do I start... first off don't even think you're going to have an appointment time because they will take anybody that walks through the door before your scheduled appointment to prepare to be a half hour to hour behind schedule... secondly no soap in the bathroom for employees to wash their hands or yourself... no barbercide in any of the jars for any of the brushes...No disinfectant put into the pedicure bowl... When I was on the New Nails and Spa website they had no price list so I called since they had some good Yelp reviews. The girl that answered the phone seemed annoyed for me asking for pricing. She said "hold on" then I heard her say to someone "this lady is weird". She came back on the line and I said "you know I heard what you said about me". I wanted to like this nail salon, as I had heard so many great things from friends and family, but I just cannot say that. I got a dip gel manicure, and not only did my nail tech not do a full manicure, she also filed my cuticles until they bled - more than half my cuticles were bleeding while she did my nails, and she did not apologize for it either. I am not one to complain about services like this, even if the job was not done correctly, but this was the most painful manicure I have ever gotten. I also find it ridiculous that I was charged for dip gel + a manicure, when I was never given a manicure, just the dip gel. Very disappointing. read more

My experience at this nail salon was not the best, my sister and I made a appointment and we waited around 4 hours to get called back. My sister was called back first and they told me to sit and wait and someone will be with me shortly. I waited and waited and no one came to do my nails. Someone had done a walk-in after we were waiting for hours and got there nails done before me. We couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. We went the first time as a group for mani/pedis - made appts so they would be prepared because they were new. When we arrived there was not enough staff to do 4 pedicures at once but they seated us all in the chairs and started us. My Mom's person could not communicate with her so any time my Mom spoke with her, she would stop the pedicure and go get the owner, speak with him in another language and then they would come back together and determine what my mom needed or wanted. This continued thru the whole process, which of course, made it take much longer. My friend had to wait for my girl once her nails were ready to be polished because her "guy" doesn't do that? Hello, we are at a nail salon! My person was fine though and I was the only one to get a mani. So I came in 4 weeks later to get another mani - AWFUL!!! The guy that did my nails could hardly speak English, his hands were filthy, he ruined my natural nail, and was very rough. I couldn't wait to get out of there and I'll never go back!!!! read more

My daughter and I came in at 5pm as a walk in, and was seated right away. The gentleman started my pedicure and a lady did my daughters (polish only) toes and fingernails. I had to keep reminding the guy of steps he missed during my pedicure, and he just kept telling me "ok...I do it, I do it". At 5:45pm I was asked to sit at a booth for my solar nails, A lady started my service then went to do 2 other people ahead of me. Meanwhile her husband kept trying to get me to get a different service (easier than solar). I stuck to my guns and after waiting over an hour she finally got back to me. She thanked me for waiting as if I had a choice...lol. It's now 7:40pm! When she finished my nails were not the shape I wanted and they were crooked. And OMG... when I went to pay I found out she decided to put nail art on my little girl without my permission... and yes she charged me! So 2 1/2 hours and $139 later I'm a very unhappy girl.
