Very knowledgeable about the items she is selling and helpful to both daughters as they both picked up a different version of the stone. Even though my cdaughter s are both in thir mid are in their 40s --- I had to laugh because of the look of wonder in their eyes and unbeknownst to either one - each chose an opal. We continued to talk about Janet for the rest of our girls weekend, that I could spend a weekend with her and hear her stories & just be in her presence! I was very happy to see all the diverse items that she promotes and inspires in the middle of what might be a less than liberal area, She sells and donates the proceeds of Haitian art back to the Haitian communities. She had SO MUCH jewelry in her shop and if you would mention something she INSTANTLY knew where it was on a random table. You could spend all day in there and still not see all she had. My sister liked one thing and instantly she made it into something else. She was just great & I want to hang out with her & hear her stories! She was a great soul and really had beautiful items! The bad: the inventory is the same as the previous store, but with even less O, S, and G scales. So, if you are an N or HO modeler you will find this store is nearly the same as the previous one. However, if you model in some of the less-popular scales you won't find much here aside from some scratchbuilding supplies. The prices seemed reasonable. The pure convenience of being able to call Chris and have him come right to your house (masked up and with plastic covers on his shoes to protect your floors) to tend to your ailing computer aside, he's incredibly nice, friendly and professional, and great at warning you about best and worst case scenarios for the issues you're having with your computer and talking you through your options for dealing with them ahead of time so you don't get any nasty surprises. Also they had issue with the drainage for my dishwasher.....had a plumber come out to tell me they only needed a $2.75 PCV flange to get past their installation Issue. This is not the experience I expected and apparently purchasing a Heavy Duty Washer and Dryer, a Refrigerator, a Dishwasher and an Induction Stove ( which came out to more than a couple bucks) all at the same time does not warrant sending out installation people with more than one installation under their belts.
