Absolutely phenomenal spot sitting atop a perfectly located plaza overlooking the train tracks and downtown Blue Ridge! Whether you are bellying up to the bar inside to watch the brewing happen live, or bellying up to the railing outside to watch the happenings of downtown...you are in a good spot, with good beer and good folks! Popped in to Tipping Point Brewing during our weekend in Blue Ridge and it quickly became a favorite of ours! The space is bright, open and well mapped out with seating, serving areas, the exposed brewery and a swag wall. If inside isn't your thing, then pop outside to several tables and railing seating where many of them sit in the shade! We ended up outside at a table for our first beer and then moved to the railing for our second. Beer wise, Tipping Point offers 16 rotating beers from the light to dark, to the bitter to sour. I opted for the Locals Lager and the partner scooped up the Hip Hops Anonymous. Both were delightful, but the lager was simple, yet complex and refreshing...a perfect beer to have in hand to watch the finish of that FSU vs. Clemson game! In addition to the beers, they offer a "U Pick" seltzer option where you get to add your own flavor based on the syrups/flavorings they have. We did not partake, but was a pretty cool option! I want to add about parking, as this plaza is attached to the paid double decker lot just off of Main Street, which makes a perfect and well-priced spot to drop the car before exploring downtown. Overall, Tipping Point Brewing is a great gem atop downtown Blue Ridge! A spot we will definitely revisit next time we are in town!

Go here! I LOVED the 2nd floor outdoor seating overlooking downtown. There were barstool and picnic table options. Sun or shade. A perfect place to relax for a few minutes. Oh, and the IPA beer was great. They also had a choose-your-own-adventure situation with seltzer (add flavor to plain alcoholic seltzer), NA options, and even some capri suns and kid options in the cooler. The staff was friendly and offered to let us try the beer. It was fairly empty on a Saturday around 1pm, but packed when we left an hour later - right as a band was setting up. Fun! The only warning to true brewery fans is this is a very new and modern building. Not really a classic "brewery" vibe. You can see the tiny tanks in the pics. But I'd this doesn't bother you, I 100% recommend!!

We came here during the grand opening. It's a very nice place with a friendly staff and good beers. We had the Joy Juice hazy IPA and the Push Over session IPA. Both were good but not traditional hazy IPA and session. Push Over has a bit of a nutty taste which is unusual for a session. The Joy Juice was good but is a little dry and not fruity or tropical. More of a NE IPA. I wish them the best as they build their business and contribute to the Georgia beer scene.

I IPA and my wife's seltzer was good. I wish they had more than IPA's on the menu, but for a smaller brewery and from what I gathered recently opened it was a solid place to hangout and have a drink.

Excellent seating outside in the shade. Had the Hazy IPA and was one of the best I've had every. Will be back whenever in town.

Enjoyed a Friday evening beer(s) with live music outside. Had the Hitchhiker's Guide Galaxy Smash IPA and a Trackside Lager (with BBQ from the restaurant next door). Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Will definitely be stopping by the next time we're in Blue Ridge.

Great beer. Dogs are allowed and food can be brought in from nearby restaurants. What's not to like?

Not only it was on my birthday in which we celebrated. But our excursion to the mountains for the long weekend was a fantastic time. As you can see through the pictures we really went all the way my dish was as abundance of seafood that you could have with an amazing cioppino sauce that was also soppable with crusty garlic bread. The beverages were on point, they have a great menu of bourbons. Will not disappoint. As a surprise they gave me a flourless chocolate Bundt cake to take home with a candle. Being with the family is always a warm unforgettable experience. There is something to be said about being surrounded by people who care and love so much. I'm in bliss. Until next time ...

For drinks, the Sweater Weather was the clear winner--well-balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The combination of Bulleit rye, La Pommiere Calvados, and sorghum created a smooth, seasonal cocktail with nice depth. The Properly Poached was decent but didn't quite impress in the same way; the Brugal Añejo, pear liqueur, dark wildflower honey, and pink salt made for an interesting profile, though it leaned a bit flat compared to the first cocktail. We started with the broiled sweet crab dip served fondue-style with pita chips, which was a great opener. It was warm, creamy, and rich, with good crab flavor that made it easy to keep going back for more. For entrées, the blackened mahi fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. The mango pico added a nice brightness, and the cilantro crema tied everything together nicely on the corn tortillas. The smash burger was another solid choice--juicy double patties with melted American cheese, crispy onion rings, house sauce, and house-made pickles that added a great tangy crunch. Service was ok waitress took a bit to bring the drinks and then the food took about 30+ minutes luckily we were entertained by talking to locals that we really weren't concerned. Overall, the restaurant delivers a pleasant upscale-casual dining experience with well-executed comfort favorites and creative cocktails. Definitely worth a visit, especially for the crab dip and the Sweater Weather cocktail and the fish tacos those were my overall favorites. Prices are mid range. Note that the restaurant as most restaurants in the Blue Ridge close early.

We shared the Brussel sprouts, the spinach and artichoke dip, and the three Onion and Apple soup. That soup was killer!!! Two in our party had the Tomahawk Pork chops. The gal behind the counter was very prompt and courteous and answered my questions about options on the menu. There is a big stove across the bar so you can see some of the cooking that gets done. The only issue with that is the heat...I didn't want my frosty beer glass to warm up while I enjoyed one of their local brews. I'd rather sit away from the cooking action. I ordered the crab cakes which came with coleslaw. The crab cakes had a nice sauce decorating the top of each cake. I asked for more because the crab cakes were a bit more bread filled than crab filled. I know I am spoiled with west coast Dungeness crab as you get a lot of chunks and not well flaked blue crab, but I really was hoping for more crab than I got for the money. The coleslaw was just okay. It was a nice mayo based dressing but lacked a tangy/sweet combo that I just adore. I am not impressed enough to return.
