Absolutely phenomenal spot sitting atop a perfectly located plaza overlooking the train tracks and downtown Blue Ridge! Whether you are bellying up to the bar inside to watch the brewing happen live, or bellying up to the railing outside to watch the happenings of downtown...you are in a good spot, with good beer and good folks! Popped in to Tipping Point Brewing during our weekend in Blue Ridge and it quickly became a favorite of ours! The space is bright, open and well mapped out with seating, serving areas, the exposed brewery and a swag wall. If inside isn't your thing, then pop outside to several tables and railing seating where many of them sit in the shade! We ended up outside at a table for our first beer and then moved to the railing for our second. Beer wise, Tipping Point offers 16 rotating beers from the light to dark, to the bitter to sour. I opted for the Locals Lager and the partner scooped up the Hip Hops Anonymous. Both were delightful, but the lager was simple, yet complex and refreshing...a perfect beer to have in hand to watch the finish of that FSU vs. Clemson game! In addition to the beers, they offer a "U Pick" seltzer option where you get to add your own flavor based on the syrups/flavorings they have. We did not partake, but was a pretty cool option! I want to add about parking, as this plaza is attached to the paid double decker lot just off of Main Street, which makes a perfect and well-priced spot to drop the car before exploring downtown. Overall, Tipping Point Brewing is a great gem atop downtown Blue Ridge! A spot we will definitely revisit next time we are in town!

Go here! I LOVED the 2nd floor outdoor seating overlooking downtown. There were barstool and picnic table options. Sun or shade. A perfect place to relax for a few minutes. Oh, and the IPA beer was great. They also had a choose-your-own-adventure situation with seltzer (add flavor to plain alcoholic seltzer), NA options, and even some capri suns and kid options in the cooler. The staff was friendly and offered to let us try the beer. It was fairly empty on a Saturday around 1pm, but packed when we left an hour later - right as a band was setting up. Fun! The only warning to true brewery fans is this is a very new and modern building. Not really a classic "brewery" vibe. You can see the tiny tanks in the pics. But I'd this doesn't bother you, I 100% recommend!!

We came here during the grand opening. It's a very nice place with a friendly staff and good beers. We had the Joy Juice hazy IPA and the Push Over session IPA. Both were good but not traditional hazy IPA and session. Push Over has a bit of a nutty taste which is unusual for a session. The Joy Juice was good but is a little dry and not fruity or tropical. More of a NE IPA. I wish them the best as they build their business and contribute to the Georgia beer scene.

I IPA and my wife's seltzer was good. I wish they had more than IPA's on the menu, but for a smaller brewery and from what I gathered recently opened it was a solid place to hangout and have a drink.

Excellent seating outside in the shade. Had the Hazy IPA and was one of the best I've had every. Will be back whenever in town.

Enjoyed a Friday evening beer(s) with live music outside. Had the Hitchhiker's Guide Galaxy Smash IPA and a Trackside Lager (with BBQ from the restaurant next door). Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Will definitely be stopping by the next time we're in Blue Ridge.

Great beer. Dogs are allowed and food can be brought in from nearby restaurants. What's not to like?

We were seated quickly with no wait, and the staff was all very friendly and the service was prompt. My son was happy to see mac and cheese on the kid's menu. It looked like standard Kraft mac and cheese, served with fries, so he liked it. I got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and both were very good. My child wouldn't touch their food so I tried a bite - immediately had to rinse my mouth out. Something is off with the oil or ingredients they're using. They did take it off the bill but we sat there forever waiting for someone to even come check on us. My sticky ribs were sauce wise but really fatty and cheap quality. The biggest issue arose when I went to pay my $19.04 bill, the "20% tip" on the machine came out to $5.61. I pointed it out to the server right there and he acted confused and played dumb, which was frustrating. The custom tip button wasn't even working so I couldn't fix it myself, and with my kid losing it I just had to pay and go. It wasn't until I did the math in the car that I realized just how off it really was -- that's almost 29.5%, not 20%. This left me with a really yucky feeling. Just double check the math on that tip screen before you pay. I have a feeling this has caught a lot of people without them realizing it. Needless to say, I won't be returning here.

The owner was very rude and refused us service saying they were closed (it was 7PM on a Saturday, cmon), despite hearing from multiple sources that they close around midnight. The owner told us he was "offended because "didn't approach the bar immediately" and looked around the bar first--which I believe was the reason we were refused service as there were already people ordering drinks in the establishment. Overall, despite our money also being green, unless you're specifically looking for an Irish pub, we recommend that you go somewhere else. There are much better options further into town...

The U-pick apple experience was a blast, and the orchard is beautiful, well organized, and family-friendly. We spent hours here between picking apples, browsing the market, and sampling drinks. There is an incredible selection of local products, baked goods, jams, cider, wine, fresh produce, gifts, and souvenirs. Everything looked fresh and high quality, although many of the items are definitely on the pricey side. We also tried both the hard cider and wine flights, which were reasonably priced and a fun way to sample several of their offerings before deciding what to take home. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, and despite the crowds, the overall operation ran smoothly. Unfortunately, what should have been a five-star experience was overshadowed by one concerning incident. After returning from the U-pick orchard on the tractor, we noticed a family parked a couple of spaces away from us. The adults removed a younger child from the vehicle, and it appeared there may have been another child, approximately four years old, still inside the parked vehicle. We fully recognize the seriousness of making that assumption and cannot say with certainty what the circumstances were. However, with temperatures well above 90 degrees, we felt it was far better to report what we observed than ignore a situation that could potentially put a child at risk. What disappointed us most was the response. We informed staff of our concern, yet there seemed to be little to no sense of urgency. Even if it ultimately turned out to be a misunderstanding, I would have expected someone to immediately check on the situation or at least acknowledge the concern and verify that the child was safe. When it comes to a potential child safety issue, I'd much rather see staff respond quickly to a false alarm than risk overlooking a genuine emergency. Despite that experience, Mercier Orchards is still a wonderful destination. The U-pick experience, shopping, cider and wine tastings, and overall atmosphere make it a place I'd recommend to anyone visiting the Blue Ridge area. My hope is simply that management reinforces the importance of treating potential safety concerns with the urgency they deserve. Had it not been for that interaction, this easily would have been a five-star review.
