The place to go for all your truck and car repair needs including tires. Last week, I noticed that my Michelin light truck tires had developed stress cracks/dry rot. I called Michelin about the situation and was referred to this tire shop in particular. I was also told that not all shops are the same and I 100 percent agree with this after having various cars/ trucks throughout the years. I also did my own research before going to Tire Barn and I was pleasantly surprised by all the great reviews. The next day I drove down to Tire Barn and was greeted by Bill behind the counter. Bill looked at my tires and then had a mechanic also verify the cracks. Bill then called Michelin and negotiated a fair prorated amount for my new tires. He also tried to obtain the cost of mounting and balancing but was told no. At least he tried. My particular tires were not in stock but Bill made a call and they were there at the end of that business day. I decided to have the tires installed the next day. The next day I was greeted by Evan who was behind the counter and was also very nice and helpful. All of my paperwork was done before hand and my truck was handed over to Shawn who treated my truck like it was his own. I was also able to briefly talk to Shawn in the back about a couple concerns I had regarding my new truck tires. The total job took Less than an hour and I was on my way. I have been going to Tire Barn in North Brunswick for years for all tire needs. Have usually always dealt with Bill, Denver & Lenny and I never had any problems with service needs at all. They are incredible with their focus on customer service and knowledge and always stand behind the workmanship that comes from their business. I had a oil change at Tire Barn about a month ago (as I have done every time I need tires rotated and balanced since that is free when you purchase tires from there). A mistake was made by the Tire Barn mechanic which lead to an expensive repair from another mechanic in the area. After explaining the situation to Denver and providing the paperwork and photos for the repair he was incredibly professional and apologetic. He said this should never had happened and kindly gave me a check to cover the cost of the repair. I have been a loyal customer to Tire Barn for years but I am not surprised on what I witnessed today. They take care of their customers and they will continue to have my 100% business in the future because of one thing....their integrity! You may find a place that is cheaper or quicker but I doubt you will find one that is as customer focused as Tire Barn in North Brunswick. I went there for the first time to get an alignment after a bad experience at a chain auto body shop. I was a little nervous at first that all they would do is try and tell me everything that was "wrong" with my car and sell me stuff I didn't need. I was completely mistaken and have never had a more pleasant experience visiting a mechanic. Nice waiting room, free wifi, and speedy service. Afterwards, they gave me great advice on what I could do to help improve my car, and I was in & out in under an hour and a half. They don't take appointments, only walk-ins. I expected to have to wait much longer, but again, was pleasantly surprised. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. I was actually recommended it by a friend of mine who works on cars. The people who work here have renewed my faith in auto body shops and i will be returning for any & all work I need done on my car. read more

People make the difference and the folks here are incredible. I needed to have a tire from my daughter's car mounted on a rim with an irreparable flat. Of course, the flat happened late Saturday and I got to the shop 15 minutes before they closed. If my story didn't convey my distress, my face must have and the manager said, okay, we can help you. I was back on the road with the tire in the trunk rolling happily back home in 10 minutes. It was the 4th shop I had stopped into, and had never been there before. I was treated like their most loyal customer. There were several customers getting their jobs wrapped up and each seemed very sure of why they were there...they were satisfied, repeat customers. That is what service is about...making people feel like the manager and the guys in the shop ARE there to work for you. Great job!!!! read more

I have been having my cars serviced at The Tire Barn for so many years, I have lost count! It all starts with the ownership....both Bill and Denver are excellent; they really know how to run a business. The technicians that they employ are all very knowledgeable, professional, yet pleasant. This is the only "car service business" that will not rip you off. They will not take advantage of a woman bringing in her car for service, as they never try to "build up the bill" by suggesting un-needed repairs! They are totally 100% honest!!!!! And it is the only place to purchase tires, as the purchase includes balance of tires and new tire air caps. They also work on all makes of cars, no matter if luxury or not. I brought my tuck in because it was making a funky noise. After looking it over they called me and said I needed a hub bearing (maybe it was wheel bearing I have no idea what it is anyway) the price they gave for labor and material was around the $500 range. About half an hour later they called me back and said when the part came it also came with a rotor that I didn't need and they can re-order just the part I needed so the price would now be in the $250 range. A place that you can trust not to screw you is priceless. I've taking may of my vehicles there for various things and the work has always been good but when they call me to lower the price I had to write a review. Honesty!!! read more

I use Tire Barn for all my service needs. Once, I "had" to make an emergency stop at a garage down the street from my house (had a flat) and they broke my tire sensor. Took it to Tire Barn and the fixed the issue right away. Next time, I'll just have my car towed to Tire barn and not let the other dumb dumbs touch my car. Great customer service and very helpful. I had a cracked wheel rim - causing a slow leak. I'd called on a Monday, and spoken with a gentleman named Evan. He explained the procedure, the cost, and the rough time frame to fix. Drove in the next afternoon - they fixed it under an hour. Would have been faster - had I been able to dig up my damn wheel lock. Great customer service.
