First off, Screw potholes in Indianapolis. They are everywhere, and I wish I worked in the Tire Industry ($$$). Anyhow, my review is mainly about Tire Barn. I nailed a pothole, called them up and within the hour I had a brand new Tire. The customer service was fantastic, and the quality of the work is great! Please read... Unless this is an "I must have now" tire purchase, DO NOT go to this location. This location for anything. In face I suggest not going to Tire Barn for anything at all. Their cooperate office is just as bad. Three problems: For starters, they broke my TPMS sensors upon installing my tires, and I had to make three visits to get the correct ones and have them installed. Second the money I paid for a warranty was "not paid" according to their system. This is also a store where the entire staff was replaced, it was cash if you were wondering. They also said you can't purchase a warranty on tires you don't buy from them, also a lie. The tire that blew had no damage, the inner seam tire completely around the inside of the rim with an explosion. Pirelli and two technicians at discount tire said this was from apparent installer error. To close, none of what happened was fixed by Tire Barn, and their upper management did nothing but say they can't determine if this happened. Oh yea, and the money could not have just left... I advise you to go across the road to a Discount Tire. Don't end up regretting it. It's a shame this company is operating. read more

I brought my car in for low tire pressure sensor that has been going off frequently. I let the tech know which tire has been giving me problems and after 20 min or so tells me there was a small nail in it and it has been fixed. He also informs me that the low pressure sensor is still on and it will shut off after I drive it awhile. I get almost home and it's still on so I stop at local jiffy lube to find out the rear passenger tire is 5lbs low on air. I've always gone to Discount Tire in the past and now I know why. I would have assumed that the pressure in all the tires were checked, but what do I know. read more

I'm not sure if it's Tire Barn in general or just this particular store, and I may never find out as i'll just keep going to this location thank you. Alignments are one of the few things I can't do in my own garage (at least not as precise as I need to be) so i come here to have alignments done. Very nice employees. Not sure if your car actually needs the alignment? they won't just perform alignments on cars that don't need them. They'll let you know if no work is needed. They also won't work on a car that performing an alignment would be useless on. Case in point, I tried to get an alignment on my wife's car, but the ball joints on her car were crap-tastic. they wouldn't perform the alignment because it would have been a waste of money. After i changed the ball joints, they happily and quickly performed the alignment. I say again people, they are honest. No fear at all that they are trying to screw me into unneeded work. read more

Not pleased with my experience. I went in yesterday with a flat tire and sat for over an hour only for them to come out and tell me they found nothing wrong with the tire. They aired it back up and sent me on my way with a $20 service charge, and about 40 miles later I ended up on the side of the interstate with my tire blown into pieces. Thank goodness it didn't cause an accident. I will say the staff was friendly and apologetic about the wait time, but the quality of service was lacking at best. read more

My husband and I had a tire emergency while we were on the road with our 2 children. It was on a Saturday before a holiday at 4:00, and I was just sure that we were going to be out of luck. However, the staff at Tire Barn worked to get us in and out as soon as possible. They provided us with a detailed report to submit to our tire insurance company, and they also brought the damaged tire out into the lobby so that we could take pictures to submit with our claim. Their customer service and professionalism was top notch!!! read more

I just had to write a review about my experience yesterday at this location. 1) it was easy to book an appointment online. 2) I showed up early and they took care of me right away 3) they completed the work timely 4) I had printed off coupons and they let me use them all... This has always been a 5 star establishment in my book. Unfortunately, my most recent visit has caused me to change my view. I visited for 4 new tires several months ago. Left happy and satisfied. Within the last week I've noticed a strange noise coming from my front tire. When the noise became constant and quite loud I visited a mechanic. I was told the noise was caused by the last person working on my tire failing to replace 3 lug nuts, shearing off a lug bolt, and over tightening the last lug bolt in an effort to compensate. When I left Tire Barn I was informed of no issued despite having 3 car seats in my back seat. I was told it was a miracle I hadn't been involved in a catastrophic accident. This was the first person to touch the tire since Tire Barn. When I contacted Tire Barn they first claimed my lug bolts had been stolen. When I informed them this was unlikely as the car is garaged they informed I had been in a collision of such force that the missing lug nuts had unthreaded themselves and flown off all without causing the tire to lose any air or causing any damage to my wheel assembly. Tire Barn stated that it was "impossible my wheel had not fallen off" if I left the shop in this condition. They refused to repair my vehicle, reimburse for repairs or take responsibility. When I contacted corporate I was told this shop had failed to provide information of my most recent purchase desire most being automatically sent. My mechanic told me if I had entered the highway once more I likely would have lost my life. Beware. read more

I am so happy with tire barn warehouse. I have a 2013 ML350 4matic and i got a screw in one tire. All of my tires were in great condition but another place was telling me I have to replace all 4 tires (which would have cost over $1000) due to the 4matic system in the car. The other place told me my one tire was not repairable because the screw was too close to the edge. So I have to give away all of my other 3 perfectly fine tires and buy all brand new ones?! I was very bothered with the thought of replacing all 4 tires for just one stupid screw. I went to the tire barn warehouse and they said it is repairable and they can fix the tire on the house since it was our first visit! I went from thinking I have to shell out $1000 to not having to pay anything. Im so pleased with the great customer service and integrity at tire barn warehouse that when it is time for new tires I know where I'm going! read more

I purchased a set a tires about a year ago. They conveniently did not have the tires that I asked for when I arrived, so I was talked into another set that were to be just as good, however more expensive. First problem. I purchased the complete insurance coverage, and was told that I would pay absolutely NOTHING if I had an issue with the tires. I found a bubble on the outer edge of a tire on Saturday and had an appointment today for a replacement. When I arrived, I was quoted $28 for the service. The explanation was that it was for disposal and new tire insurance, which I opted out of. It took him 45 minutes to replace the tire. When he handed me the keys, I asked if he had checked the other tires as I had requested, he nodded "yes" and then I said, I was watching and didn't see this done, nor was the tire(s) balanced. He said..."I forgot". Never ever buy tires from here again...bate and switch and bad, bad service. read more

I had a nail in tire and checked my treads on the others. They looked worn to me so I got a quote for a new set of 4 tires. Upon arrival, Jeff measured my treads and stated that they were still good for another winter at least. Also, the bad tire could be repaired. When I returned from lunch the tire had been repaired at no cost (as I had purchased them at Tire Barn previously). Ya gotta love honest employees like Jeff. First off I am so happy tire barn closes at 7 during the week. I work until 5 and with traffic I never would have made it by 6 which is the time discount tire and many others close. The gentleman that helped me was very polite. He listened to my situation with my rim and tire and told me he would do everything to try and save both of them. Meant to leave this post a long time ago, but the guy I worked with at this locaiton was absolutely excellent. I just wish I could remember his name. I came in for a busted front right tire that needed replacing. The guy who helped me, who was maybe in his late 20's and might have been the manager, set a time expecation of 2 or 3 hours (they were backed up that morning) but had it ready in about a half hour. I was driving on 465 when my car started to shake as I reached 60mph. I was right by the Castleton exit and called the tire stores near me. Tire barn was the only place that answered the phone. I told them about my situation and they said they could help me out. Luckily, I was in between appointments for them and they got me in right away. Tristan and John were extremely pleasant and PROFESSIONAL. Prior to starting the work, they explained in detail what was going on with my car and the price... which was very reasonable. Being a female, I'm typically wary of being taken advantage of but they didn't make me feel that way one bit. I'm so thankful for the experience they provided and will recommend this location to everyone! They did so well I was compelled to leave my first ever review! I bought new tires from here less than a year ago, everything was great at the shop the guy seemed professional though he tried to take advantage of me and up-sell unnecessary things. But thats typical of most places fast forward to today where my tires are extremely worn out after 12,000 miles and I was told I have an alignment issue. Both my grandfather and my mother called tire barn asking about my extended warranty that I paid for and both talked to Tyler who identified himself as the manager of the store. He was rude, confrontational and even hung up on my mom. He said it wasn't their problem since it was an alignment issue but my receipt clearly shows I payed $120 for an alignment when I got the tires. Tyler explained that alignments are optional and that customers must ask for them. So I paid for something that they never did and it wasn't cheap. He also explained how it was a different crew and that he can't uphold anything that they did. My question is how long has Tyler been a manager and how does he think disrespecting customers will benefit the store he works for. If he's like this with customers I wonder how his employees treat customers or what their work ethics are like. We will be contacting corporate and we will be taking any action we need to, including legal. Today I'm at discount tire where they are respectful, helpful, and even told me the tires that Tire Barn had me pay $400 for, they don't use because of how many issues they have. Booked my appointment online March 4th for Saturday the 10th. Arrived at my appointment time and was told the Corporate office cancelled all online appointments due to the pot hole issue and there was no record of my appointment and they didn't have the tires I wanted in stock. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance to avoid this very issue. He did offer to find other tires after he made me feel like it was my fault by saying we didn't call & confirm or send you & e-mail about the appointment. I was so discussed at that point I said no thanks. Do Not have online appointment scheduling if you are not going to use it correctly! Also, if you go to the web page there is nothing to indicate they are not accepting appointments. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Tire Barn just lost my business. read more

Avoid this location at all cost. I have never written a horrible review about anything in my life and probably never will again. But the manager of this store should not be gainfully employed as he has lied to me countless times. 3 months ago he told me my tire was not under warranty in which I knew was inaccurate. I asked for him to confirm with the other location that I purchased a tire under warranty. After he allegedly called the other location he attempted to inform me that the other location told him my tire is not under warranty. Therefore, I called the other location myself and was told by them that they never received a phone call from him, but my tire is under warranty. Therefore, I had everything faxed over and he was forced to acknowledge the warranty. Josh told me moving forward Tire Barn is no longer providing a warranty for my tire size as a company. Upon picking up my tire, the individual helping me revealed that Josh was lieng for a second time and another warranty can be added. My tire blew out and due to being under warranty at Tire Barn I had to go this location. Before even looking at my tire Josh attempted to tell me that it isn't covered under warranty before he even looks at it and/or my information. It sickens me to think that an individual this fraudulent is allowed to manage a store. I will never go here again and discourage anyone seeking help with their car from going here. read more

Came in on Veteran's day with a tire that had a screw in it. Needed a patch and a rotation. Service tech didn't even come out to inspect tire before I waited over an hour to find out that it couldn't be replaced.
