went to get I asked him to put it at 40 psi just to find out that he actually took the air my tire so when I came in it was at 36 psi when I left he almost flattened one tire and put it to 20 psi and the other tires were only at 30 and 25 so I come in with 36 psi 40 it goes to 30, 25 and 20. I'm about to call the owner and tell him that his people are trying to hurt people cars even more. He even saw that I had a baby with me so the fact he's going to do that when I have a kid it's actually insane. Update they did so much damage to my daughter's car on her way to San Diego for her bachelor party. She broke down past stateline it had to be towed to their house. This is a car that had no issues prior to taking it in to get an oil change of which afterwards problem started to show up the new mechanic said there was no oil in it yet this place wants pictures in order for us to prove that there was no oil in it. So I thought I had a brake issue, so I had them take a look while they did an oil change. They told me they couldn't recreate the brake issue with a test drive which I was really surprised by. I drove the car home with the same brake issue happening. I took the car to my regular mechanic and the front rotors were warped. New pads and rotors and they work amazingly well again. ALSO, my car was leaking oil from the new oil filter from the last change at tire choice. I won't be going back to Tire Choice for ANYTHING, they have lost my business completely. read more

We have left multiple bad reviews for this shop and Monro Customer Service just leaves a copy-paste message for everyone even though we've called and have an active case number open. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and they put NO oil in my tank and didn't tighten one tire, which almost fell off once I left the shop. Having no oil in my tank resulted in internal damage to my car which cost me $1,300 to get fixed. Can't believe this shop is even in business and the mechanics that work there have a job. On a Saturday a while back, I hit a pot hole and snapped what turned out to be a stabilizer bar. I took it to Tire Choice on E. Horizon Dr. My car was misdiagnosed and for some reason they replaced a wheel bearing for $697.83 (including $30.90 for five lug nuts and a random $31.66 'shop supply fee'). After replacing the bearing, the car still ran as poorly as before. To his credit, the manager admitted that he didn't notice the snapped stabilizer bar, but informed me that along with that, i'd have to replace a couple other parts and the total would be an ADDITIONAL $1000+. He said he'd call me Monday with the prices and to set up an appointment. So i left with my car in the exact same shape, but with $697.83 less than when i arrived. The manager DID NOT call me back on Monday, so i got it assessed at another shop. It turned out the only problem was the stabilizer bar, which was replaced and all in the cost was $246.10. The wheel bearing had absolutely nothing to do with the problem. Nobody from this Tire Choice location or the corporate office ever returned my calls. In addition, on that Saturday while they were working on my car, a Tire Choice employee was talking about how a manager from a different store was transferred to this location and would lock his office door, turn off the lights and sleep during business hours. And apparently that manager still has a job at another location. This company is a joke and there is no way they would ever touch my car again. They also, through a letter to my credit card company, refused to reimburse me for anything. Again, they never contacted me directly. There are plenty of tire/repair places out there, I suggest you choose a different one. read more

When I asked him why he couldn't assist me, he rudely said the compressor was off. Now I know it doesn't take long to turn it on. He became very rude so I reciprocated the attitude. Came in because our wheel was making crazy sounds they estimated that it would be over $7k to fix everything. It was definitely more than we were anticipating. And a lot more crap that was tacked on to the bill I'm sure. The tech went as far as to tell me that I should just get rid of the car. We went and bought what we needed and spent less than $300 to fix the issue. Mind you, we have the tools and thankfully my husband is capable of doing the job.. we thought it was just bearings and figured we could just pay someone to do it.. but over 7 grand? No thank you! I would advise people to get a second opinion before taking these guys words as gold. I know for a fact they told us that we needed crap we didn't need. My car no longer makes noise and drives as it should. Do I think this place is dishonest and takes advantage of people? Yes, yes I do. But i want to specifically leave this review for Sean as he operates the store with great professionalism, integrity, and honesty. Today, as I was waiting for an oil change, Sean helped an older gentleman who's also coming in for an oil change. Upon checking his mileage, Sean informed the older gentleman that he doesn't need an oil change until early next year as he got synthetic last time and only racked up 2k mileage so far. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but within the mechanic world, I feel like it is. The store has every chance to profit a service without informing the customer the information, but he didn't and provided full transparency. I purchased tires through USAA (Goodyear) and had them drop shipped here for install. While there I had them check my alignment as well. They showed me the alignment report before and after etc. Simply proving it kinda needed it which I suspected anyway. I appreciated that being a tooler myself. My vehicle requires only full synthetic oil and the coupon saved about 5.00 dollars. There prices are very reasonable and they don't try to do things to your vehicle you don't need . I would not use this store. Learn from our mistake we took our side by side there. They did not torque the bead lock bolts. We lost over half our bead lock bolts on one ride, they didn't clean the bead lock ring. Called to tell them said I had to reload my side by side and bring it to them and they would discuss it. I've been coming here since we moved to the area for the last 3 years bringing in our 3 cars for routine maintenance. Today I called in for a quote on a radiator flush and transmission fluid change. The quote was for $189.99 for the transmission flush, and $109.99 for the coolant change. When I came in, a worker who I've never seen before was at the counter and printed out an estimate at a higher price. I Told him that I was quoted a lower price just 10 minutes earlier, and a guy who was in the office with him confirmed the quote and the estimate he had done for me. After they looked at the car, they told me the transmission flush can't be done because the transmission is bad but could do the coolant flush. Now here's where it gets shady. The new guy said he would fix the amount, and that I should sign the estimate that he had printed out already so I signed it taking his word for it. Low and behold, that didn't happen and I was charged the full $137.99 or $153 after tax and fees. I am one of the last types of people to make a scene and since he had me sign the estimate I guess he could turn it around on me and say it's my fault. Bottom line: I'm not coming back. read more

My truck blew a tire on the freeway. I went online and got an estimate for around $300 for 2 tires and alignment. Go to pick up my truck and my bill sky rocketed to almost $500. I am positive they were taking advantage because I'm a woman. I asked why and pulled out the estimate. They then said they have 2 different installation methods one being basic and the other, who knows. Plus the road hazard on each tire. Outrageous, they don't even go over anything price wise. They just jack up the bill and expect people not to know or question it. They removed the frivolous upcharges and brought my bill down to the estimated price. Then said they didn't do an alignment because now my truck needs another 1K worth of work. I paid my bill and took my keys. On day 15 of our 18 day cross country vacation we picked up a screw in our tire. My car was telling us we had low tire pressure. We pulled off the fwy to find a gas station with air. Couldn't find one. Went to the next exit and found Tire Choice and Laury. Boy did we get lucky. I told Laury we needed some air in a tire and he came right out. Started checking all of the tires and said he heard a leak. Pulled my little car into the bay, pulled the tire and found the screw. We got lucky with the placement of the screw and the tire was able to be repaired. At no cost! We even tried to buy him a soda or something and he refused. Let's start with I have been in the auto business for 45 years. I started as a tech in California, smog test and repair licensed, I held 5 ASE at one point. Was a tech, service manager, and store manager for Goodyear in Long Beach. I most recently was in Florida working commercial parts sales for all the dealerships and mom and pop stores. So when I moved and retired in Henderson I am at the mercy of the shops here as they do not know me. Went to this Tires Choice and the manager Josh and his crew checked my brakes. I was told by the shady tech at USA auto on Boulder and Major that my pads were low, I did not think so but I had driven cross country and put about 5,000 miles since last I checked. Josh and his crew got me right in and told me I had 5mm left, in laymens terms about 1/2 life on the front and back. This is the way to build a customer base as I had done in Long Beach, honest business practice. This will be my spot for needed repairs going forward. Very appreciative to be treated in this manner.
