Sept. 2025: Took car for AC evaluation, was blowing warm. Firestone said that, although they couldn't pinpoint the problem, they'd need to replace the entire AC system for $4500-$7K. Went to A+ Automotive, who immediately pinpointed the problem. The AC system was 100%, the problem was radiator leak causing elevated engine temps; the advanced electronics shut down the auxiliary systems. Firestone screwed the pooch on that one. read more

Tuesday afternoon. I'm giving this experience 1 star. They took our car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and wipers. The guy working there seemed a little stressed out and short but took in our work order. The wait was a bit under 2 hours, which we thought was reasonable considering it's at the mall, so we were able to kill time there. Picked up the car and the girl working there was sweet as pie and couldn't have been more friendlier. Nice smile. Noticed from afar that the guy looking more stressed now. Made payment and got our key. Good to go. So why 1 star? Upon getting in the car and driving off, the steering wheel had muck on it. Typical. Damn shop grease monkeys can NEVER keep a car clean! I had to pull over and clean my hands off and the steering wheel with a pack of wipe-offs I had in the car. Why are car mechanics incapable of NOT getting oil and/or grease in or on your car? Also, after reviewing the invoice closer, it stated "CUSTOMER REQUESTED NO INSPECTION" which is entirely untrue. Upon checking in I mentioned to the guy that I will be replacing the air filters myself later in the day. Nothing was mentioned or offered about an inspection, but I assumed an inspection happens with every oil change. First time at this location. May not be back. read more

I have a 2023 Nissan Sentra. I went in for just an oil change and somehow all of a sudden I needed "4 new tires", my "brake light was broken", my engine air filter was dirty and my wiper was ripped. The only thing true about those 4 things was my engine air filter and my wiper blades. My car has 40,000... I haven't even gone through my first set of brake pads, how the fuck do you figure I need a WHOLE set of brand new fucking tires when they're nowhere near bald? And to try and add in a "broken brake light" when I got home I had someone check that they were working and BOTH WERE WORKING PERFECTLY FINE. They tried quoting an extra $1,000 in services I didn't need?!? Its pathetic and a joke, thank god I know a decent amount about cars and can do simple shit myself and know better than to believe shit like that. Trying to take advantage of a woman simply cause you don't think I know better. Pathetic. This is why im always wary when I take my car to get serviced somewhere... We arrived in Henderson to stay overnight on our way to Phoenix. Temperatures were 80s F so we turned on the AC for the first time this spring. No cold. I use on-line search for "car repair near me," and Firestone was a nearby name I remembered. So I phoned them on Sunday afternoon and made an appointment for 7 AM the next morning. I looked over their facility. The large shop area was clean and well cared for. Obviously someone takes care of tools and parts, cleans the floors, uses safe hoists, and generally presents a quality appearance. They got my car in right away like they had promised. The AC refrigerant was pumpted down, weighed, and filled. The whole service took only 1 1/2 hours, and we were on our way. While I waited I met another customer who said he had been taking his cars in for 8 years and always got good service. Usually you can tell how consiouemtous the staff is by how clean and organized they keep their shop. read more

Came here because I thought their customer service would be better but unfortunately it was terrible just like the one on stephanie and American pacific. Made an appointment for 11 showed up at 10:30 I was told it would be ready in 2 hrs. I get a call at 3pm that they couldn't move my car to do the services requested. Turns out the guy that checked in my vehicle left the car on accessory mode and killed my battery after my car was left on for 5hrs. First off Thank You to the entire team! I came in yesterday without an appointment for an alignment on a 2500 Truck. Explained the history of the truck and that I used to wrench for a living myself, and wow this shop surprised me. First impression-very clean, you can tell when looking in the back that they maintain and enforce a clean work environment.(which means our customer cars will be better taken care of). Shanti was very quick to assist and was very transparent that theyre gonna try to get me in ASAP but couldn't promise without the appointment. Low and behold they got me on within 20 min! She even hooked me up with a coupon for my lifetime alignment. I must admit I was a little apprehensive when I went to visit this go around, but I was pleasantly surprised and and impressed with the improvement of the customer service I received. I went panicking because it was 120 degrees and my window would not roll up. I was greeted right away, and with a smile. Sydney was awesome! He offered me water and assured me that he and his team would get me taken care of. I left my car and honestly i thought that it was gonna take forever, but Sydney did not disappoint. He called to let me know what the issue was and advised when I could come and pick up my vehicle and it was not the next day but the same day! Terrible service. I got there 20 minutes before they opened to get a nail removed from a back tire. The man claiming to be the manager, Josh Berry, opened the door late and was immediately rude to me and the other costumer waiting. He proceeded to tell me it would be a 4 hour wait to get the nail out even thought no one else was there other then me and a costumer picking her car up. Just because he was running late and opened the store late doesn't give him a right to have horrible costumer service and lie about estimated repair time. I debated for a few months on writing this review about this particular location, but if it can help another person, thats all that matters. I took my 2010 GMC Terrain here in Oct 27, 2023. I needed new tires, a tune up, & an oil change badly. My truck had over 200k miles on it and I was just trying to get it to last for a few more months while I got my moving expenses paid off, from my recent relocation to Vegas. In total, everything came to $1596. While my truck was being worked on, the guy at the front desk asked me why my truck had so much oil in it. I replied that the previous mechanic, here in Vegas, I'd gone to hadn't put enough. He says it's way too much. That particular year of the Terrain has a recall for High oil consumption. What seems like too much oil for your average is much needed for that truck! It also requires oil changes more often. I've driven it all over the US, from CA to GA & back only a year b4 I moved to Vegas. Hence why it had so many miles. I've stayed on top of repairs & major fixes as well. Let me just say, that there's been plenty of those fixes too, after the 100k mile mark. As I'm leaving Firestone, I noticed my check engine light was still on. I drive it around for a couple days & it doesn't go off, so I bring it back. They turn it off & say its my CAT. I got them both replaced in 2022. It wasn't my CAT. The light comes back on a few hours later. It's the oil, but I don't know it yet. Usually, I'd catch when the oil was low on my truck because it would shake roughly at a light. When I got it back, I noticed some light shaking, but after getting a tune up & brand new tires plus the smooth roads here in NV, it was still driving a lot smoother than usual. A month later, the day before Thanksgiving, I'm driving to work and it starts losing power on the freeway. I get off the freeway, make it to work safely and park it. I call Firestone & decide to have it towed back to them. Thanksgiving, they're closed so a tech gets back to me on Black Friday, letting me know my engine blew, because my truck was old and that Carmax would take it. When I pick it up, NO ONE could look at me. I ask what I should do with the tires cuz they're brand new. They say they don't know but I cant return them. They even offer me a future discount on another set, when I get my new truck, as if I'm ever coming back to them. Eric, the manager stayed quiet as I walked out the door. Usually he's really friendly & helpful. He wasn't this day. They all seemed full of guilt and I'll soon find out why. I go to leave and my truck won't start. They must've unplugged my battery. I had driven it off the freeway & the tow truck driver had to drive it up the flat bed, so it definitely drove before bringing it. I get home & leave it parked til Jan. I needed to move it one day, so I get it jumped. Something tells me to check the oil. Sure enough, there's NONE! The stick is dry. Explains the guilty looks on their faces when I was leaving. I'm certain they checked the oil when it was there, any good mechanic would. They also realized I had been there a month before for an oil change. Oil doesn't run out that fast with no leak. Unless you have a GMC Terrain from the years of the recall. So, they said NOTHING and did NOTHING. I take it to another mechanic without confirming what happened previously and he let me know a cylinder blew from NO OIL. I say all this to say, Firestone is great for tires. Even for servicing simpler vehicles, but following recalls with no fixes not so much. The employee at Firestone looked at me like a girl who knew nothing about my truck, when I practically lived at my mechanic in CA's shop. I didn't make it to 229k miles on that truck for lack of care. I wish they had done their homework before working on my truck. I would've been a valued customer for life. read more

I walked the mall for two hours, went back, my car is in the same place I parked it. So I grabbed my keys and left. They have zero customer service and lie to customers to get business. Firestone offered me nothing short of life-saving service this weekend! Thank you to Store Manager Joseph Sowers who was able to squeeze me in at 6PM on a Monday for a last minute tire change. I had rented a car in LA to try to get back to Denver, CO after all flights for the week were cancelled due to a big storm hitting the Rockies. After having my tire completed shredded in the middle of the Mojave Desert, another Firestone around Las Vegas was able to refer me to this location, that had the proper tire for my rental. Brought my car in because of wasn't picking up speed, the air stopped working and the car began overheating. When I brought the vehicle in, the engine light was NOT on. $2100 later these issues were supposedly "fixed." (Engine mounts, one converter, fan replaced) When I picked up the car the guy tells me "she overheats by a hair, just make sure it doesn't overheat while in idle.) The day after picking up my car I start it up and the engine light is on as well as the battery light. I had a warranty on the battery, so I took care of that myself. Engine light went off. Okay.. I notice the car is still overheating and shortly after that the air goes out again. I bring the car back and their telling me that don't know what's wrong with it. They refunded me 260 for the fan, but that's it. The car still doesn't pick up speed and I'm just out $2100.00. robbery. If you can't tell me what's wrong with it NO work should have been done on the vehicle. Now I'm being told it "could be" electrical issues. If that's the case, you can't even say with certainty that the converters we're the reason the car wasn't picking up speed. I had already told them both converters were replaced within this same year! I also had the engine mounts replaced within the same timeframe. If you think there's an electrical issue causing me to replace the same parts over and over again, how can you justify the work you did? Why do the work knowing it won't solve the problem, charge me and then tell me after you've gotten your money that you don't know what the problem is,that it may be electrical? This is wrong to do to hard working people. I'm a single mother of four. I took out a title loan to get the car fixed, so I can't even sell it now. This cost me more than the $2,100 you took from me. read more

On June 29th, I scheduled my 2004 Honda Element with 250,000 miles on it for a Wheel Alignment. This vehicle has been aligned by Firestone's across the country every 10,000 miles since 90,000 miles. After waiting for over 2 hours for the vehicle to be completed, I was told that they had broke the essentric bolt that would adjust the rear toe for the alignment. Since the store manager Joseph was not in at the time, a call was made to the district manager, who denied me being reimbursed for a rental car. I called corporate, and left to purchase a rental car with my own funds. After writing this original review, I was contacted and told they would reimburse for my rental car. The next two and a half weeks are detailed below: June 29- Drop Off for Wheel ALignment, Bolt Broken. I was told that the bolt is no longer available to be ordered and is "In development" I was forced to order a used bolt off of ebay and pay for additional shipping to get it rushed to me, as I was without my vehicle. July 2- I deliver the bolt personally to Firestone July 3- I call for a status update. Firestone Mechanic claims the broken bolt is seized and unable to be removed. We agree that they cannot use heat to remove the bolt, as that would damage the rubber bushing. July 5- After I do further research, I find out they can replace the bushing only without replacing the whole control arm. I call in to the Firestone Mechanic and tell them they have permission to use heat to remove the bolt, which will damange the bushing but it can be replaced. Also, the bushing is not part of the control arm at all, it is part of the spindle. I had to find this out based on my own research, the Firestone Mechanic did not know this. July 6- I call for a status update, Part has not been ordered. Firestone says they don't know where to order it from. I let them know that I already contacted the dealer, and they have it in stock. July 7- I call for a status update, I'm told that they didn't know they had to pay cash with the dealer, and someone from the store will need to go pick it up July 8- I call for a status update, I'm told they ordered the wrong part and will need to order a different one. July 13- I go in person to the store and nothing has changed. I'm told "we don't have anyone to go get a new part" and I'm shown the wrong part that they ordered. I'm also shown my vehicle, and the wheel hub is hanging by a thread only by the hydraulic brake line. Most likely this is the cause of the ABS issues mentioned later. I've included a photo of this for reference. July 13- I go to the dealer myself and order the part July 14- Bushing arrives at the dealer, and I have to go pick it up and deliver it personally to the Firestone store. I'm told "no, that's a control arm bushing" when I drop it off, even though it is in fact both spindle bushings, as they still did not know which I needed to order. I ask when this will be done, as its already been two weeks without my car. I'm told "well we are really booked up, so probably not for a few more days at least" July 15- I call for a status update, manager Joseph tells me the bushing has been replaced, and the car will be ready by the end of the day today. July 15- I'm told the car is ready for pickup. When I arrive, the manager Joseph tells me I should have warned them that the vehicle had rust on it, and that no matter what future mechanical issues there are, they will no longer be servicing my car. Upon taking a test drive in my car, I noticed that the ABS light is now on. It was not on when I dropped it off. I brought this up to the manager Joseph, and he refused to even look at the car anymore. All in all, I am completely baffled that this situation even had to happen. I would expect anyone with eyes to be able to identify rust on a vehicle that is 17 years old and has 250,000 miles on it. I would have expected the mechanic working on the alignment to tell me "this bolt is rusted solid, so we will not be able to adjust the toe on the rear tires to spec." I would have left and gone on with my day, happily driving away in my vehicle. Instead, I was faced with a two-week-long fiasco wherein I had to spend $1000+ of my personal funds on rental cars and parts (which was eventually reimbursed) as well as a significant amount of my time running to play parts boy and calling around to do research that I would have expected these professionals to know. Throughout this whole experience, I was never contacted once regarding a status update on my vehicle. This was a daily hassle that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. As I stated at the outset, I brought this vehicle in for a wheel alignment. I was not given any wheel alignment report or receipt on what was completed, so I'm not sure the original alignment ever took place. I have been a loyal Firestone customer for many years, but that will be ending today. read more

Stopped by at 4PM on a normal weekday afternoon to ideally get both an oil change & a Smog Check. They don't do smog checks at this location, but the manager suggests I go to another one of their locations in Henderson because it does do both. He's looking at me like I've got '666' tattoo'ed on my forehead or something. I thank him & head to my car. As soon as I get back to my car, I look at myself in the rear-view mirror to see if I've got food on my face or something.... Nope. Get to the sister-store that he recommended only to find out their Smog Check machine is broken, and they only have one service tech working, meaning a 2+ hour wait for an oil change. I give-up on the notion of a Smog Check, and drive BACK to this Firestone location by Galleria Mall, park the car & walk in at approx. 4:45PM (135 minutes before their 7PM scheduled closing time) and say I've returned for an oil change. The manager, who once again is giving me a really strange look states "Uh, we're done with oil changes for the day." It's almost like they were being robbed or something. I go back to my car & again, look at my face, hair, etc. in the mirror. NO IDEA WTF is going-on at this Firestone location, but I will never return. read more

Made an appointment online for noon, I arrived well before then, was told it would take 2 hours *seems like a long time for an oil change* I left to run errands. Came back 30 minutes before car SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY. Nowhere to sit as there were several other people waiting. Watched the ONE service advisor working with multiple people and a casual, intermittent shop staff cycle through. Car was ready 2.5 hours after dropping off and over $100 to get the work done. Finally got around to writing this review. I took my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe in for an alignment on 6/20/23. An employee named Joshua appeared uninterested in helping me when I arrived. I explained that my car pulls to the left and the steering wheel shakes a lot when I drive on the freeway. Upon receiving my keys, he conducted a parking lot "inspection".When he returned, he informed me I had to replace my front tires. He stated that they did not have my current tires in stock nor did he offer me any other type of tire or even seem interested in helping. He said we could do the alignment but couldn't promise it would fix the issue. I went ahead with the alignment desperate to fix my car. I was told it would take three hours to get my car. I received a call within an hour. Joshua greeted me with the same horrible attitude and told me the alignment didn't work. i paid $120 and left. i noticed that they didnt even rotate the tires. They just took my money and rushed me out the door. The next day I walked into Discount Tire, and was greeted by a pleasant employee. After asking for my keys, the technician conducted his inspection in the parking lot and found the problem within three minutes. My right front tire had a bubble.
