Stopped in to fix a flat tire. Short wait time. The people at the counter were helpful, but the techs in the back working on our car were EXTREMELY immature. They were literally chasing each other around when they should have been working on our car. Lots of yelling and clowning around. They didn't even bother to put any paper or plastic covering on the light interior before sitting in it to move it. We left with the tire pressure light still on because they were so inept they didn't think to turn it off. Too busy refilling their vapor cigarettes I guess. We will not be going back or recommending them. read more

This business was easy to access an appointment. Before going in, my car was operating fine. They sold me tires and changed my oil. Now my car leaks oil and when I tried to confront the issue with them, the manager told me to leave. I do acknowledge using two curse words and being mad as my garage floor now is covered in oil. Its amazing how well customers are treated when they are buying, but when there is a problem they don't stand behind their poor work. Prices and quality of products provided are great however the speed of service or lack there of, leave much to be desired. The 'manager' Aaron, is rude, dismissive and all around unpleasant to speak with. He is unwilling to provide accurate information about service and product details and is completely unpleasant to do business with. 2011 Scion tC-tire replacement Time quoted:45mins Actual time:1.5 hours Price went from being $119 to $156 when I paid for the same tire at discount tire same price for $111 including alignment and service two months ago. I go to look at the tire and it still had a wax sealant around the rim of the tire with dirt on it. The body had finger prints all around the wheel well. They put some type of spray that got on my right headlight.I have pictures of all of of it. I paid $156 for that? Come on. I paid for a cheaper price at Discount tire and got better tire service done with clean tires and no finger prints, a accurate time, and good customer service. I will not be going back to these stores. That was my first time and my last. read more

Went in to fix a flat tire and Clayton at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. He was thorough in explaining the type of tire I needed and didn't try to oversell me like a local competitor did. He was also very generous in giving me a tire guarantee. Plus, despite a same day appointment, everything was completed in about 30 minutes. Great service like this means I will use this location for tire needs in the future. read more

They've fixed minor leaks on my husband's truck tire twice at no charge so when it came to getting new tires for my car they were our first stop. Price was reasonable, staff was friendly and service was quick (make an appointment folks!). They have never attempted to up-sell or get us to pay for things we don't need. read more

I used the website scheduler and when I got there they said they did not know what I was talking about. I had no appointment. So I waited for a long time and finally they took my car back to rotate the tires. Someone came out and said the brakes were full of dust etc. and needed cleaning. It cost extra but I agreed. The extra was like 40 dollars but it made no difference in the brakes. When the car was finished I asked about replacing the structs. The guy said that he would email me an estimate. The cable for the parking brake on my truck has fallen again. This is from the 600.00 first visit. After how many uses of the parking brake you might ask.... ONE. This is after the initial replacement of the parking brake and less than a week later I had to get them to "adjust" the parking brake which again after one use started to dangle from under the vehicle. Top notch work fellas. We are at a two vehicle out of two vehicle total failure. How many tries does the company get before a customer gets their money back???? read more

For the past 7 years I have bought all of my tires here. I have also had my oil changes done here since they opened. I made the mistake of using a Jiffy Lube and realized how much I appreciated Tire Discounters after paying 3 times more for horrible service. I had the best experience today - went to have an oil change and Jamey, Levi, and Kody went out of their way to take care of me. The price - $22.00 was incredible but their service was what will keep me always coming back. Great job gentlemen - you have a customer for life! read more

Made an online tire replacement appointment for a Friday at 6pm. I arrived and the desk person had little information from the online chat for why I was there and seemed annoyed. I saved the chat transaction and it was very detailed on my end. Luckily he had the tires but no one to perform the alignment so I would have to create another appointment to complete the process. Not fair and not my problem that there was no one there for alignment. But, to help out (me and them) I offered to leave my car through closing Saturday so all work could be performed at their leisure. I was going to the Ohio State game, wouldn't need the car, but couldn't pick it up before closing time Saturday, so I told them that I would prepay (which because of computer issues took forever) and pick the car up after hours using my spare key then pick up the other key sometime the next week. They (Mike and Anthony) were fine with that. After the game, the person I was traveling with offered to drop me off to pick up the car as it was on her way home. You can imagine my surprise and embarrassment when we arrived and saw the car locked in the bay for the rest of the weekend with no phone call or voicemail explaining why. So my friend had to backtrack and take me home on top of everything else. There is no one to talk to until Monday and I have to be to work by 6am. My reward for trying to help out a crappy situation is to have to rent a car for a day so I can go to work. I try to love this company as it is very close to home, the tire price I receive is always fair and the service performed is top notch but I can't get past the difficulty of doing business here because they try to do too much with too few people. Follow up service (even emergency service) is a bigger hassle as you have to have an appointment for everything and be willing to lose your vehicle for several hours because of what I just said above. Sadly, the last set of tires on this car was purchased at this shop and were rotated religiously at 5000 mi intervals- mostly at a Toyota dealership for $25.00 because I can take the car in Saturday or SUNDAY with no appointment (though I'm usually cordial and make one) and expect my car to be finished in 45-60 minutes every time. They also check the car out and wash it within that time frame. So I don't even take advantage of the free rotations here because I can't afford to leave my car for ??hours and only have one weekend day available to get it done. Heck, after what happened yesterday/today it may not get finished by day's end.... Anyway, Great prices, quality service, but not at all user friendly for today's busy consumer. There are other places with comparable prices, a plethora of employees and willingness to fit you in in a pinch without an appointment for both issues and aftercare. I do not like to complain but I'm trying to help others avoid this place if your time is valuable to you. They are just not able to handle volume well and only offer Saturday as a weekend option. If this isn't a problem for you then by all means I fully recommend this place. read more

went in first thing in the morning to have a flat tire repaired. was told there were 15 appointments and only 1 employee and that is why I should've made an appointment. Asked if they would still be able to get to it, and they said "not sure" - there was no empathy or concern, and all bays were empty. While I understand they may not have been able to provide me service, the manner in which that information was communicated was unprofessional and lacked any consideration for me as a customer, or potential future customer. A competitor got me in with no appointment and didn't charge me for the repair. read more

Had low pressure and tire kept loosing air after inflating it a couple of times. The discount tire store said they will not be able to repair and I need to get a new set of tires. I was convinced to buy new tires when thought will visit tire discounters and get their opinion. Well they saved me a lot of money. They found the issue and fixed the tire for 20 bucks instead of $700 for set of two run flats. They did not try to make me buy something that was not needed. The job was done right and 6 months later I am still happy. Thank you guys! read more

Came to tire discounters for a nail in a tire. Took over an hour after they said they would get me right in. Witnessed a good amount of horseplay behind counter when they could have been working on cars. Smoking witb the vapor right beside cars with windows down, one person tired to lick anothers face. Weird experience. I have had a patch in tire before and it, at most, took 20 minutes. Will NEVER be back and would not recommend. read more

Update: I was contacted by cooperate after leaving this review. They advised me that this is not their company policy and that the regional manager would be in touch with me. A couple weeks after the holiday I advised them I never heard from the manager. Their response was that they have been busy and I will hear from him. I'm writing because within a week of purchasing a new set of tires at this location, a new noise developed when braking. I took my car back in and was told that the front rotors were warped, and that it was a coincidence that the sound happened to develop after getting the new tires a week previously, which I find hard to believe. I was also told that the tires have nothing to do with the rotors, but everything is connected. I also read afterwards that if the lug nuts are over tightened, that it can cause the rotors to warp. They wanted to sell me new rotors and brake pads for $300, but I declined. So I think it's possible that this problem may have been not only caused by them, but they wanted to profit from it. After months of this fairly loud and annoying noise that occurred during braking, I had the front rotors and brake pads replaced at another service center for over $450. I really do think that the warping of the rotor(s), and the subsequent costly repair, was due to an installation error. In addition, this was an exceptionally unprofessional place in my opinion. In the garage there was loud, thumping music playing; when I took the car back in, another customer in the waiting room actually commented on this. I also saw one of the front desk guys spitting chewing tobacco into a cup while talking to a customer. I guess because it's family run, they do whatever they want there. Overall I just got the impression that this was a dishonestly run business, and I will definitely not be doing business there again. read more

Very disappointed. We had four new tires put on our vehicle. After a short period of time we heard a strange noise in the front end of the car. Not knowing cars or that a clanging noise could be related to tires that were not low or flat (in other words not showing any sign of problem). I took the vehicle to Nissan north where it was purchased assuming the front end clanging noise was suspension, or other front end problem. They found a tire weight in the front passenger side tire & taped it to my receipt for me. I called the tire discounter we had the tires put on at. The store manager said I should have brought it to them & that they were not going to reimburse me for the $100 charge from the dealer to asses what the noise was. I told him I was very disappointed after a mistake they should make it right, he didn't care or even ask for me to bring my receipt & the weight in for him to asses what he might do. After that experience I contact their corporate phone number & left a message for the area manager. That was nearly 2 weeks ago without a return phone call. Obviously they do not care about their customers or mistakes that their employees are making on their customers vehicles! Beware they will not make their mistakes correct! read more

I went in to get four new tires and the counter rep was completely rude. He asked me what I was looking for and when I told him I wanted something with long tread wear life he quoted me a tire with a UTQG rating of 240 AB. I asked him for a quote so i could do some research. He said they weren't allowed to give me anything in writing. I wrote down the name of the tire myself and did some research. 240 is on the very low end of tread wear ratings. Anybody who knows anything about tires should know that. I called back and asked for a quote on a tire that is rated 740 AA and this rude customer no-service rep tried to convince me the tire he quoted was just as good. Plenty of other options within a 2 mile drive. I won't be back. read more

I took my 2012 Honda Accord to tire discounters to replace a tire so I had two matching tires on the front of my car. They offer a free alignment with every tire purchase, so I thought it would be a good value. As soon as I left the store, I got on the highway and the car was violently shaking when I drove over 65mph. I took it back the next day and the manager said they were too busy to help me and I would have to make an appointment for the next day. I brought it back the next day and they re-balanced the tire. The problem still wasn't fixed. I brought it back again and they tried the same thing and suggested I might have to go to a different location for a road-force balance. (Why wasn't this offered in the first place?) After the third attempt, I made an appointment at the other location (Stelzer Rd.). They spent an hour and a half trying to balance the tire and then told me the tire was defective and blamed it on it being a goodyear tire. They didn't have any others in stock, so I was talked into buying four new tires (Nexen) and was given a credit for the original tire. I was told this would correct the shaking problem. I get on the highway and guess what? Still shaking. I'm taking my car elsewhere. After 4 new tires and two alignments, they still can't get it right. I'm now out $700, have 4 off-brand tires, and a car that shakes. read more
