    Adding insult to injury, they didn't even replace my valve caps.

    This place used to be a five star establishment. I've purchased all my tires here since it opened. I was always happy with the price quotes and service. That was when a guy named Mario was managing the store. He's not there anymore, and the quality and service has taken a serious downturn. I was buying a set of four tires for my van. James quoted me a price, which was high compared to competitors, but I'd done so much business with these guys I decided to go with it. The tires were ordered for the next day and I dropped my van off that morning. I never heard back from them. Ok, businesses get busy. I get it. I called that afternoon and they said they'd get to it within an hour. So, I got dropped off and figured I'd wait. I waited. And waited. A couple people sitting near me said they'd been waiting since morning. I noticed my van sitting in the parking lot, and since nobody called my name I assumed maybe they had to test drive it or perform some additional work on it. It's now fifteen minutes after closing time. I go up to the counter and see my paperwork and keys sitting there. But no employees. I waited by the counter for literally thirty minutes with no one there to help. Finally, someone comes in and checks me out an hour after closing time. The price was higher than I was quoted. I'm in a hurry so I mention the prior quote and the guy at the counter gives me a 5% discount. Still higher than quoted but I had to go. So I let it go. But they weren't done with with the insult. When I got home I noticed they didn't replaced my valve caps. So, I pay close to a thousand dollars for tires which should have been much less and they don't even care enough to put valve caps on. So, I'm spending Easter morning out looking for TPMS valve caps. Thanks, fellas. I doubt I'll go back. And it's such a sad situation. They used to be a great business. And they are so close to the house. But they've got to get it together. The market is way too competitive to put up with nonsense like this. Every customer in the place was angry. If everyone is angry they can't all wrong. And my frustration didn't end that day. It gets extended into the next day based on an unacceptable oversight. I just hope my wheels stay on and they didn't overlook something more serious. Next time I'll try Sam's Club.

    I called and talked to Christina, and explained I had a strange request. I was looking for replacement batteries for my powerchair (motorized wheelchair). I had tried other places in town that service the chairs but no one had any of this type of battery stock, and it would be 1-2 weeks to get one. Christina checked their inventory and said they didn't stock that particular battery but would call other stores to see if they had them. She also offered to ask their interstate supplier if they carried them, and price them for me. She called back the next day with great news! The supplier did carry the batteries and Christina said that they would have one delivered to personally verify it was the right model. I have been in customer service for 25+ yrs, I was very impressed with Christina's extra effort and follow up with me. We need more People like Her in this world. So Thank You Christina, you're Awesome!

    I don't normally waste energy leaving a bad review. Sometimes I have to, for the best interests of unsuspecting customers. I called to get a simple balance and alignment done on my tires. They said they were too busy, to bring it in tomorrow. So I brought it to them the next morning and left it. They call me 3 hours later to tell me, it needs new tires. You can RECCOMEND tires or give me an OPINION. I don't come to tire shops for them to tell me what I NEED to do with my 1,000$. I obviously told them no thanks. They then decided to neither balance or align my vehicle. Told me to come get it or leave it with them for 3 days. I have watched tires get balanced and aligned. I have worked in service departments. The fact that they couldn't do a simple job in 5 hours. Then had the nerve to tell me I need this and need that. Then blow my car off because I declined giving them my hard earned money. I would reccomend another store to anyone who wants honest and timely work. Were talking about the automative repair industry though. Pray for me.

The manager told my mechanic they thought they had gotten rid of all the mismarked filters and to not tell us. We had hoped for resolution from Valvoline but they are only offering us only a used engine with no clue its history greatly diminishing the value of the car (2021 jeep with 55k miles). We were told it was the same scenario as new wipers and that he (area manager)had to do what was best for Valvoline. The vehicle is still under powertrain warranty (which voids with used engine) and we have owned since new. We now have no car and have hired an attorney.

But going to a different location I thought my chances could have been better but I was proven wrong. They are either not properly trained, tired, just don't GAF or all the above. This time they took a significant part from my vehicle and didn't put back on. I didn't even notice 7 months later because that was the next time I needed an oil change. I made a claim and they denied it since they no longer had the footage from then. Alsooo the manager at the time had already been fired, which makes me wonder if it has anything to with what happened to my vehicle along and others. The call with the current manager was a joke as well. Valvoline has proven there is a lack of training, work ethics and poor service. Goes to show Valvoline continues to hire incompetent people and provide shitty service resulting in lost parts and damages. Definitely do not go there or any Valvoline location.

    DANGER LURKS HERE! AC/COMP BELT CHANGE....NEED EST…read more I came in to get new AC and comp belts installed. Mine were shredded. However I did have to drive fifteen miles to get belts from the only other supplier. Drove back to Jif Lube with my car still running strong. THEN, they said "need your keys so we can check it out and now just where do these belt go exactly"? THAT WAS A RED FLAG. All i wanted at this point was the $estimate before I commit. "HOW MUCH WILL IT COST-i asked"?. "Jif replied about $280 bec you bought the belts somewhere else and we have to charge extra, plus taxes, etc." I WANT MY CAR ...THAT IS WAY TOO MUCH AND BTW, WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH MY CAR IN THE BAY WHERE YOU WERE TRYING TO JUMPER CONNECT IT TO SOME CAR IN FRONT FOR CHARGING"? JIF replies " oh, your battery was down bec no belt was in place to charge it" ...."But...but...when i came in the car was running like a racehorse...I replied"... ....Jif said " well they can run down pretty quick sometimes but we charged it and you are good to go". ....(I live about two blocks away...my car would barely pull off the lot... then it completely quit...dead quit... just as I turned onto Harrodsburg rd....great...I guess this is where I might die...I can imagine the news "80yo handicapped man dies in traffic mishap!! His car was only charged enough to get him halfway home". ***DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS- was it just bad luck or was it a poorly trained mechanic wanting to see me back for $280 job? HERE IS WHAT I DO KNOW- I WENT TO MY "G0-TO GUY" FOR HELP. WITH TRAFFIC WHIZZING ALL AROUND ME...NO TIME TO WASTE. "JESUS, I NEED YOUR HELP BRO...IN BIT OF A BIND HERE" (yeah, we are on a first name basis). IN LESS THAN 5 MIN TWO CARS STOPPED AROUND THE CURVE ,THREE PEOPLE JUMPED OUT AND STARTED PUSHING THE CAR TO SAFETY ABOUT 50YRDS AWAY. I COULD TAKE IT FROM THERE. I THANKED EACH PERSON...AND JESUS THANKED EACH SOUL...(clearly). One man was from out of town with his family, had also just had been clipped by a passing semi but even though he was down-spirited from that he still took the time to help me. I blessed all that were there (just do it people...no fancy words needed...call it like it is). "Jesus, I said, thank you soooo much for the help and please bless those standing around me here for their assistance and please help guide the kind person from Chicago to find some kind of relief from his sacrifice today...let it be if thy will be done, o'Lord, Amen". (See, try it sometime everybody). THE GOOD NEWS: 1. EVERYBODY LEFT UPBEAT, THE SKY CLEARED UP...(CHECK IT). 2. I GOT MY CAR INTO A REAL QUALIFIED SHOP WITH COMPETENT EMPLOYEES. 3. INSTEAD OF PAYING JIF LUBE $280, I PAID $96 AND MY CAR IS RUNNING LIKE IT WAS TOUCHED BY GOD! 4. YOU SAW THE WONDERFUL WORK OF THE LORD AND MAYBE A FEW MORE PEOPLE THAT WILL OPEN THEIR LIVES TO GOD...(now i know you might be saying...I can't prove HE did anything but here is the catch "you can't prove HE didn't send the help from my call...now there comes a time when we all need to know 'when to fold 'em and when to play 'em (talking about faith cards now, really). It took me almost seventy years to make the right choice and I have yet to be denied HIS help for any reasonable request I have made...just study more about what God needs to see in you...and let Him set your path...not drugs, alcohol, etc....not everybody is tough enough to make HIM a partner...are YOU? Can you give HIM your faith for giving you a new life and better? (interesting: as i sat watching the dealership fix my car, I looked out the window and saw a man walk by with a noticeable text on his shirt that read "Jesus Rocks"...now embrace that for yourself.)
