Yesterday I had such a wonderful experience! I called around 4:17 PM after discovering I had a screw in my tire and was losing air. Even though they were about to close, Shawn, Juan, and Roy stayed and waited for me to arrive. I didn't make it there until almost 4:45 PM, and they still took care of me and stayed past closing to finish the job. Shawn and Juan were incredibly friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and Roy worked on my car and made sure my tire was taken care of. I truly appreciate all three of them going above and beyond, especially at the end of their workday when they easily could have told me to come back another day. Made a 12:30pm appointment online, called to make sure it was a good time for a standard alignment & I arrived early to check in. The employee that checked me in said it would be done in no more than an hour and a half... Well... an hour and a half went by as I patiently waited. I looked out to check on my car and it was out in the parking lot. I assumed it was ready as planned and they couldn't find me to let me know. Nope.. they haven't even touched my car yet. I asked the guy that checked me in and he let me know everyone has been at lunch for the past hour and a half. So WHY the FUCK did you tell me it would be ready in a hour and a half!!!! So yeah I had to plug a tire last summer. I always keep a plug kit and air compressor in my vehicle for when this happens, so I am not stranded or have to use the spare wheel then take it to a tire shop, then reinstall the wheel. It's just more efficient and better to plug it myself on the spot. It's an easy fix and the plugs last the life of the tire and are reliable. So I took my jeep to this shop to have the wheels rotated and balanced. They did it, no problem. I was in and out in an hour. Now, if you try to take a plugged tire next door to Discount, they'll rotate the other three and not touch the plugged tire. LOL what a joke! This is why i buy my tires at NTB/Tire Kingdom now. Poor customer service. Not honest. Not communicative. Rude. We called day before to confirm the make and model of our car and the alignment we needed. We came the next day and were told with Stephen and Cory the manager at the front desk that would be a couple hours. We called in two hours and asked when it might be done or if they had a chance to get started. We were rudely told it's not started yet and we close at five. So we went home to wait. 30 minutes after we got home we were called to say come get our car they couldn't do anything because the car wouldn't fit on the alignment lift. We know that's not true because it's been a line before on the same standard lift. Then we went outside and measured and see that it clearly would fit. Well I'm glad they were open on a weekend and the service itself was friendly enough. However, let me start by saying that if I, a woman with no real knowledge of cars, can change my tire with a jack and manual tools in 20 minutes (yes, I've done it), then I don't know why it would take 2 hours to change 4 tires with a lift and electric tools. In any case, that's not why I'm upset since I took that time to go get lunch. Whatever. What upset me was they they gave my car to a rookie guy who put the tires in improperly and had I not heard the faint noise the tires were making as I was driving away, I dunno what would have happened to me. Wasting my time, not that big of a deal, but doing a botched job on a vehicle is not cool. So now, since I STILL don't trust that they fixed it properly, I gotta take it to my mechanic to look over and double check their job. More time wasted, thanks. Tires were well priced (though the guy was gonna automatically charge me for the higher priced ones and didn't even offer an alternative until I asked) so I didn't give it a complete 1 star. But I wouldn't come back here unless I had no other choice. I should have just gone next door to Discount Tires but those reviews they got all seem fake and written by workers or their friends. Very disappointed with my first (and only) visit to Tire Kingdom. After about two months of having to refill my tire due a slow leak, I decided to finally have it checked out, half expecting to buy a new tire. After an hour and a half, they told me that they couldn't find anything causing the leak so I should bring it back if it continues to leak. This diagnosis could be due to one of many variables but all leading to two very obvious deficiencies: attention to detail and genuine care for their customers. As it turns out, my "perfectly fine tire" actually had an inch long nail imbedded in it which was causing the leak. Had the staff actually done their job, this review could have gone a lot differently. Luckily I visited one of their competitors the next day who discovered the nail. read more

This is the slowest place I've ever had my car worked on at, the Employees look like they're walking in molasses. WOtherwise it's a clean store, with free coffee and a decent waiting room. I would say expect to pay 10-15% more than you would at a non chain place. I was getting rear brake pads replaced (squeaking), the guy originally said that my front ones were at like 70%, then I got a call saying I should replace the front ones cause they're about the same. Not sure what that was about unless it was a typical up sell, so be prepared for that phone call. read more

Even though I had the warranty I had to pay the mounting fee. After addressing my concerns with William "Bill" about having to pay a fee for a faulty tire his reply was "Mmm yea, well that'll be $41." Back in March I had tires sent to this location through Tire Rack as it was the closest shop to me that they worked with. I was due for an oil change which they performed, as well. The technician told me I had 2mm left on my front brake shoes and they needed changed. I deferred at the time because frankly they seems find and we're quiet. Fast forward 5 mo, I had them inspected at Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers only to be told that my brakes were fine for likely another 5-6 oil changes which roughly comes out to 40-48,000 miles. I called and setup service for an oil change 3 days in advance. When I checked in he went to the parking lot to go get the mileage and then came back and said that my engine light was on. The rep then said that I needed a complete engine diagnostic that starts at $120. I told him that I wasn't interested and he said that they wouldn't do the oil change unless I agreed. I left and called the 1800 number because I didn't understand why they wouldn't do the oil change and just write up what else I needed. The 1800 number said that they could do 10% off. This is my third visit here. I receive excellent service here and the prices are a little better than their competitor next door, plus they do maintenance when the other doesn't. They really got my attention when they fessed up to a mistake made by a technician. They recently fixed a leaky tire for me and during installation broke the tire pressure indicator mounted on the tire. He told me they were sorry for the inconvenience and have a new part on the way. A $110 dollar mistake but they ate the cost. I will always support a business that has honesty, integrity, and treats it's customers with respect instead of the almighty dollar. This place... never learn my lesson. I am a woman who walks in with her teenage son to get an oil change and tire rotation. First the manager says it will take a few hours and about $80 since he was too lazy to look up that I had bought tires there before, spouting out some excuse as to why I couldn't prove it... so I get a call about an hour later telling me I need everything in the world and 4 new tires. That will be $1,500 today... what!? My husband finally got involved and what do you know they apologized and what REALLY was needed was dropped to $300. Went there for 4 tires, got quoted a price that was almost 100 over another estimate but needed tires immediately, was quoted a time of 2 hours was actually 5 hours. Went to a movie and was constantly called by the place saying I needed this and needed that made me feel like they were trying to upsell me. Have gone to other Tire Kingdoms in the past and have had pleasant experience will not be returning to this one. read more
