They delivered the not-so-great news about an oil leak in a way that was clear, respectful, and not overwhelming--no pressure, just honest information. Ty actually showed me the leak while my car was up, which I've never had an experience like that but greatly appreciated! Afterward, I asked Ty where I could go to replace my battery, and he recommended another place that ended up being just as great. That kind of honesty and willingness to help really stood out. The manage either named John or Josh got into my Tahoe and drove it pretty aggressively through the parking lot out of anger towards his co workers. After he got out and got done scolding his employees I walked over to him to ask if he always drives customers vehicles like that and he seemed he drove pretty normal. After explaining how my current financial situation is a tad tight now, much like everyone's with COVID, he and the manager were very helpful in trying to bring down the price to more comfortable numbers. I probably saved $125 in the process. As fate would have it, my card would not work. Since it was near closing time, the manager graciously allowed for me to go home to call him with another card that I have. Very much an honor system with the two that I certainly can and do appreciate. In the past, I had just gone to them for oil changes. Little did I know that other work could be completed. My car is not blowing cool air. I arrived to have my A/C fixed they said they can do it. I signed off and gave them my keys. Waited for an hour, then I receive a phone call from their business to give them a call back. They could not find me, and I was in the waiting room. A gentleman came in to tell me about a $1300 fee to fix the problem. The mechanic then pulls me outside to pay. I owe $157.00 for the R134 refrigerant and a service fee. I tell him I'll do half in cash and other half on a credit card. Minutes go by and he tells me he'll just take the cash. I paid $60 for service fee and to run a diagnostic all for them to tell me my A/C is blowing hot air and that there is a leak. This is information I already knew. I am disappointed with the lack of communication and left feeling scammed in my still hot car. read more

Love this place. Been going here to get my oil changed here for a while. I just hit the 60,000 mile mark and was told id need a whole day of tune ups needed at the hyundai dealership worth 700$. I purchased tires from them a year ago. About a week ago, my tire pressure gage came on. I took my vehicle up to Express for an oil change and free tire rotation. When I spoke to the technician, I specifically asked if they would make sure to check the tire pressure. After the service was complete, one technician stood by my car while I calibrated the tires. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot and got on the highway, my car started to pull to the right. I told myself my next day off I would take it back to Express to see what the issue was. On my way to work a couple days later, my tire pressure warning came on again and my car was still pulling to the right. I didn't make it to the next exit to pull over and check my tire pressure, I had a sidewall blowout. I called my uncle, an ex military mechanic to come help me with the tire change. I told him what happened and he immediately said "the tire pressure was too low". I took my car back to Express and told them what happened. The guy I spoke with argued with me and had an explanation for everything I said. I'm a female, he totally treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about. A few minutes later he brought the tire to show me a nail had damaged the tire. Unbeknownst to him, I had taken several pictures of the tire and there was not a nail in the tire when it blew. He said the reason my tire pressure warning went off a week before and then 4 minutes before the blowout was because my sensor was bad. He said the reason my car was pulling to the right was because of the roads... all the roads I traveled?! Statistically, these events happening within 3 days of having my car serviced are almost impossible. He was determined to "prove me wrong" to the point where I left and went somewhere else to have a new tire put on. I will not use Express again! I have photographic evidence of my blowout not being caused by a nail. I also went to the dealership and asked to have the computer checked, all my sensors are fine and working properly. That technician is unprofessional. If I can catch someone lying about a nail in my tire, I can't trust the people serving my car. Was my oil really changed? Did someone really flush my fuel system? Was my transmission fluid replaced? $250 of what ifs is what I was left with. read more

Been going here for 2 years with 3 cars. Always got the same guy, not sure if its floor manager or what. No problems. Last time I went he told me I needed a minor gasket for filter area causing a small leak. Went back and asked if it was in previous notes. This new guy said no and told me they needed to put dye in engine to find leak. I got the oil change and he continued the narrative trying to set me up for an expensive overhaul. Just be warned don't trust. Copy of my first review: I had to wait long times usually manager not there or too busy. He literally ignored me while he was yelling and cursing at people on the phone, I assumed it was personal. I had similar experience when I had brakes done there last year but it's close to my home. During one week in mid-April my van broke down and had to be towed to the shop. It was 2 weeks before they even looked at the van and found that it needed a fuel pump. The quote was $300 above other quotes I found. I asked if they could do the work. It was to be set for the work that week or the next. I went to check on the van the next week and I saw a customer's car for sale on his lot and a few weeks later bought it. All of that aside the real problem is they didn't work on my van, didn't call me to check about part being in. I called several times to talk to John - the manager about my car I called and called, phone records will document the calls. Could never get John on the phone, left messages with employees. When a friend told me that my van was not on the lot anymore - I went to see myself and it was gone. It was a Sat evening, and they were closed, and 2 cars were on the lot. On the following weekday I drove to the shop and was ignored by the manager for more than an hour. I am on a portable oxygen machine and asked the guys where my van was there were 3 or 4 employees working in the one side where I had pulled up. I asked for John - they said he was busy I asked about my van, and they said they know nothing about it. I told them I really need talk to John. I asked every 10 or 15 minutes for an hour or more. On several occasions John was with 6 ft of me in the bay, I called to him, and he would not come talk to me. Finally, he did come out shouting and yelling in a rage at me that he had no idea where my van was and that he thought I came and got it. He accused me of yelling at his employees all the time, he kept ranting- it made me very uncomfortable and afraid. I asked John to tell me where it was because if it was missing when he got there he had my number and should have called me. I left the van in his care with the purpose of getting it repaired. If he didn't want my van there or wasn't going to repair it he should have called me. Or in the least he could return my calls or left me a message. He screamed at me that my van was there for 4 months. The van had been worked on in Jan and again in March of this year. Then it was towed again in April as stated above. In all the van was there about 6 or 7 weeks. But He did work on my car I bought 2 or 3 times during that period and put the van work on the back burner. Not a word to me to move the van or the status. He knew I had not abandoned the van and told me he would call and tell me when he could work on it. If it was an issue, he should have made it clear when I was there for hours getting an alternator put in the car in May. I was unsure whether to call the police and report it stolen. I called my friend again and asked how he knew my van was towed. He said someone who knew my van said he had seen it for several weeks at the ExpressOil lot and noticed it was gone. I suffered an anxiety attack from all the stress and after calming down I called the non-emergency number for the police. The officer found that my van had been towed and told me to call in a police report if it was stolen. I asked if the police had it towed and she said no, the company there did and gave me the towing company name. I called and they did have it. They have a towing contract with that ExpressOil location. So John the manager knowingly lied to me about the tow, never called me and likely was going to sell my van to the towing company for auction. I spoke with the Towing company who confirmed that ExpressOil called and had my van towed without any attempt to call or contact me. FL law requires a 3 day notice to the vehicle owner after towing. I have not received any such notice. The woman at the towing company said the notice was sent on May 25th. As of this writing the impound, towing and storage amounts to More than $900. I am 75 years old, retired, have limiting medical constraints and limited income. I am shocked that a franchisor would allow a franchisee or a corporate store or any of its managers to behave so unprofessionally and insensitive to a any customer. Having been a franchisor for more than 2 decades. The van was towed on May 17th. It had been on the lot due to all of the above for about 7 weeks Not even 2 weeks from the date I was there for the alternator on my car. I am hoping that the franchisor or franchisee makes this right. We will see. read more

FAST, friendly service. No up selling, no trying to talk you into getting a bunch of other stuff done, just tell them what type of oil you want and you are done. They will explain what the recommendations for other services are from the manufacturer but don't try to talk you into doing it, unlike jiffy lube were they always harass you into doing something extra... I went in with my wife's car the other day and the low tire pressure lights would not go off, the technician took his time going back to each tire and adding air until the lights went out, and this was after I had already paid. He could have given me a story about the lights going out eventually, or told me to drive for a while and the lights might go out, but he didn't, he took his time to make sure I was happy with the service. read more

They have never tried to sell me things that are unnecessary and have fixed only what was needed. They are up front about the cost of your repairs and don't try to hustle you. On my first visit, my Ac had stopped working and after taking my truck to another garage that tried to sell me a new compressor for $1200, I got a second opinion here and was so glad I did. I only paid around $650 for my new compressor at this garage and it came with a 12 month 12000 mile warranty.
