My friend who used to manage Les Schwab, repaired my car--all ball joints, for under $400 ( i did pay him labor). Nothing else needed replacing Alignment was done by Comisky auto repair--an honest mechanic--$150. Les Schwab was going to fix the struts and do an alignment and send me on my way. I would not have made it home. The car was unsafe without ball joint being replaced. Go to Comisky!

That evening you google struts and find the most expensive ones are $347/pair. So how did the price go up $860? You go to pick it up the next day and it's not ready! Cars that came in after us have been taken first. It's a 40 mile roundtrip. Call the next day and it's ready. You protest the huge price tag, pointing out struts for a Nissan are $347 or LESS. The next day, when we spoke with the manager, he admitted his staff caused the damage but said they couldn't help us. He was unprofessional and raised his voice. We took the car to BASIN TIRES shop, where they repaired the stripped lug nut and replaced the tire without any issues. Even though it was past their closing, they still took the time to help.
