I took two in when I picked the one up ( I borrowed spares from friends ) . I recently went for an alignment which I successfully received but a member of the team was incredibly hard to speak to because for some reason she felt I was silly for my choice in tire sizes on one of my vehicles. I completely think that is fine, not everyone sees eye to eye, but because of the way she was treating me and speaking to me was not entirely the kindest. I think she completely ignored my request to have my suspension inspected before moving forward with the alignment. I told her that I suspected the wheel bearing was giving way and if so, I would like to take the car to my mechanic and avoid getting the alignment at that moment because it wouldn't be my best option. She doesn't say the staff had anything to say about the wheel bearing so I was pretty excited that the noises coming from my car were probably just tire cupping from uneven wear. Well, I take my car to my mechanic the very next day and he lets me know that my wheel bearing is essentially on its way out. I couldn't believe it because 1. It should be impossible to do a perfect alignment with a failing wheel bearing 2. I've trusted you all for so long to make sure my vehicle was safe and for great tires and I even tipped on the alignment. It's hard to find great mechanics that you can trust and I've always been so happy to let you all service my car that I actually feel betrayed by the bad customer service and the potential that I wasn't warned about a dangerous issue with my vehicle. It sucks ands it's sad, but I will not be returning.

My husband thought one of the camper tires looked worn, so we drove over to Richmond to find tires. We absolutely lucked into Mincz Tires on the recommendation of another tire place that didn't have what we needed. We got to Mincz about 10am and were done by 11:15am. The owner, Ken, is very knowledgeable and explained the various options. He said most people just want the cheapest tires. We went ahead with the high quality tires he recommended - Maxis brand - which he said were twice as heavy as the cheap ones. He called and had them delivered in about 15 minutes. They put them on the trailer as it sat in front of the shop, still connected to the truck. The cost for the two tires and labor was $311. At no time did we feel pressured, just a lot of information from a very interesting guy. When they were finished, he said that the inside of the other tire, which looked better on the outside, was actually splitting on the inside and would have blown soon. So, we saved the cost of roadside service, plus met a nice person. We feel lucky to have found this family-owned business!

Another way for a company to bleed the customer. It's right up there with charging customers credit card company processing fees. Credit card processors has always charged a fee points to process credit cards and is nothing new. I consider it part of a business expense that should be factored into your business plan and not subsidized by the consumer, your customer.

So, I began my custom wheel purchasing journey in Richmond. I visited the wheel shops up and down Broad Street, and did some shopping online. I found RNR where Ian spent time explaining the differences in wheels and helped me determine what was the proper fit and best look for my 2012 Wrangler Unlimited. Unlike some of the other local shops he did not make me feel like I was asking too many questions and he pointed out things I had not thought of. Once I made my choice he ordered the wheels and had them in and installed the next day. Awesome customer service from the moment I walked in the door! I sat in the waiting area while my wheels were being installed and had the opportunity to observe other RNR staff members interact with customers. Each person was professional, courteous and very helpful. In fact there were a couple older ladies in getting new tires and the staff was very helpful and patient with them. My wheels look great and while I had my existing tires mounted on them I do plan to go to RNR when it is time to buy new tires.
