Incompetent & Arrogant Called to order a set of tires and made appointment for installation the previous week. Very helpful on phone, problem is the service stops after you hang up the phone. Drive an hour for appointment only to find out the titles are not available and the arrogance of the guy behind the counter "it is what it is" attitude is more than I will put up with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The issues are not just at the local store level, they are at the corporate level too! Horrible customer service and accountability. Called to get my daughters tire looked at because she had one that kept losing air. I explained to the guy on the phone that she had bought the tires and roadside from them in October 2022. The guy said he looked at her account and did not see the tires NOR her roadside all he saw was 1 oil change. Keep in mind she had been in there MULTIPLE times prior to this incident. The guy stated he looked under her name and phone and could not find anything so we would have to pay out of pocket for the repair. Talking to this guy turned into a shouting match because every time I would ask a question or make a statement, he would just keep talking over the top of me telling me without a receipt or invoice number there is nothing they can do. I finally asked to speak with someone else and then I got Stan. Well, Stan said the EXACT same thing, they could not find ANYTHING under my daughters name or phone except 1 oil change and we would have to pay for the repair. I asked how in the world do you LOSE a tire purchase??? I wanted an explanation an NEITHER of them could explain to me how my daughter spent over $500.00 but the transaction just disappeared??? I was told over and over again that there was nothing they could do, no other way to look up the info. I even gave them my dads name and number because he took her car then one time for her....still nothing. I then called the Corporate Customer Service phone and spoke with Carrie. She asked for my daughters phone #... no name....no invoice.... just the phone and immediately she said right here are the tires, third transaction on her account. She provided me the exact date of purchase, the invoice and said I am not sure why 2 people at the store did not see them?? I asked if they are on a different system possibly giving benefit of doubt and she said no they see the same system. I was livid at that point. So I told her that I wanted to file a complaint as well as get my daughters tire fixed. She took all my info and said to expect a call with in 48 hours (2 business days) from someone at the corporate level named Nathaniel. The very next day I get a call back from Stan stating he had found the invoice number and we needed to get my daughters car in to get it repaired under her road hazard. Like he had been diligently working on looking for it since our call 2 days before. I asked for an explanation as to why he and the other person could not find this info, but once I reached out to corporate it all the sudden appeared? I then asked what NAME was associated with the tires, he stated the name and I said that is my sisters name and she has nothing to do with the car or the tires?!?!?! How in the world is my sister mixed up in this??? I stated I wanted to speak with someone at corporate about this incident because it was handled VERY unprofessionally and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Not to mention the fact that they had my sister and daughter blended into the same account??? He said Nathaniel, the area manager, will call you back within the HOUR... Never heard from him. I called again 2 days later, this time speaking with Rickia and she said she would update the case that I was looking for follow up. Again she referenced Nathaniel would be calling me back. I explained that my daughters tire is still not fixed so there is some urgency to this issue. I am now at day 6, so I call back yet again this time talking to Jada. She states there are notes from Nathaniel that were put on my account 8/13 (Sunday) stating the obvious that the road hazard was found and I needed to show up to my appointment. My first question to her was, why has Nathaniel STILL not called me back from a "corporate level" and spoke with me directly??? And what appointment am I showing up to? I have not made an appointment nor made aware of someone else making me an appt for us?!?!?! I explained I no longer wanted to deal with Nathaniel, I wanted to deal with someone higher up that him because at this point he is useless. Now I am waiting another 2 business days to speak to someone else and get my daughters tire repaired. read more

I have the lifetime alignment and like to get the alignment checked and adjusted every 5-7k miles. This is within the agreement. I've been trying to get an alignment done the past few weeks. Every time I call they do not let me make an appointment. They say to drop it off and they will get to it when they can. Stopped in first thing in the morning to get it done and they said there is no tech there to do alignments but I can leave it there and they will get to it when they can. Not sure how I feel about leaving my vehicle there to get an alignment when they don't have a qualified tech. It just seems like I've been given the run around every time. I've found another shop local that was happy to have my business. You get what you pay for. The lifetime alignment is a joke. They just avoid doing it. I scheduled an appointment to get one tire installed on Tuesday,8/2/22. I arrived at the appointed time. It 1:45 to get the one tire installed, even though I had an appointment. When I got home I found they had mounted the direction tire inside out. I had to take the car back the next morning. This time it only took 25 minutes. When I got home I discovered they left me a thank you note.....a greasy footprint on my cream colored carpet. I won't be back. read more

Horrible experience on Riverstone Pkwy! I have been waiting 2 months for a resolution as my truck still leaks oil (no leaking prior to dropping truck off for one and a half days- see my review on their website) guess they are waiting for the engine to blow before they contact me. Be prepared for dozens of emails saying "we are working on your case" & "the manager will contact you within 48 hrs". Don't expect your work to be done properly or at all as in my case- especially if your paid for anything with "lifetime warranty" associated with it. Dont be surprised if you have new problems that were not there when you dropped off your vehicle. read more

I got to the store at 5:40 something Saturday 6/11/2022 before they closed. I had a tire that was leaking air. They pulled it around the back and Said they could not find the leak. I have been driving Uber lately because I had rotator cuff surgery and can not work at my regular job. They filled it with air and it leaked out rather fast. I Bought some fix a flat to still the slow leak that they said I had. It did not work. I am out of work until Monday now that they could not fix my tire. I will probably need a new tire because the fix a flat is causing the car to semi. I found the source of the leak. It could've been seen visually seen. Attached is a picture of the nail. I will go back to Discount Tires Monday. I will never go back there again. read more

I brought in 2 wheels to change out tires. I only need the tires changed. They didn't have to remove the wheels from the vehicle only swap tires on 2 wheels. 6 hours later they finally had 2 tires change. 6 hours!!! What would it have take them to do 4 wheels and them remove them from the vehicle. Go somewhere else. read more

I've never had a bad experience at this location! I've always felt taken care genuinely. They don't ever make me feel taken advantage of. They do an excellent job each time and staff are all always friendly and helpful. Had an alignment and tires installed and the alignment is worse so came back and Jeremy the manager was rude and argumentative and went back into the shop cussing me to his other co workers and was very unprofessional sad that before they get your money perfect but when there is an issue it's the customers fault but good year tightened up my loose tie rods and percent no more play !!!!! read more

I went in yesterday to have my brakes checked out. I heard squealing and grinding from my front left brake and I had never had the brakes serviced every since I've purchasing the car (5 years). Well, turns out my pads were low all around and my rotors were too thin to machine. They told me all of this and told me there was a chance that I needed new calipers also. They checked and determined I didn't need new calipers, which was great because that would have added significant cost. The work was done quickly and Lonny took care of me and didn't try to up sell me on other services. My Ford Flex is stopping smoother than it ever has before. read more

Having read awful reviews about dishonest dealings at both locations, I was very concerned; however I read about recent management changes at the Canton location so decided to give it a try. Imagine my surprise (& delight!) to walk in & see two of the guys from the Sandy Plains & Shallowford location which I have frequented for two decades! They are part of the team tasked with turning this location around & recovering trust with local customers. They were prompt, professional & honest in their dealings. CANNOT BE TRUSTED I went there October 25th to get my oil changed. The two guys at the desk were nice and friendly. We had causal conversation and I had told them about how I just moved to canton and how I didn't really know much about my truck. After my oil was changed, one of the guys went over a list of things wrong with my truck that added up to about $1,500 and about $1,000 of it needed to be fixed ASAP. I freaked out because I'm 18, in college, and on a budget with no extra money. After I looked over the list with another mechanic who actually new what these parts were (unlike me), he informed me that some of the parts listed broken WEREN'T EVEN PARTS THAT MY TRUCK HAD. I CANT THANK YOU GUYS ENOUGH! If I could give this shop 10 stars out of 5 I would. Our area was hit with an unexpected amount of snow today and I ended up in a hit in run on I575 which blew my driver side tire and left me with some cosmetic damage on my car. This was my very first accident and I was absolutely terrified. After being towed here to get a new tire, I was greater by some AWESOME men who were caring and attentive. One even offered me some ibuprofen because I didn't have mine with me but was in a little pain as well as shock. They gave me a great deal on all new tires and had me in and out in under an hour. BUT that's not it. I was a little scared to drive home given the snow was still pretty bad and I had some hills to go through. I don't remember his name but I think he was the manager (I'm so sorry, I was just very shaken up) and another employee offered to drive me home in my vehicle and they were so very sweet about it. I am beyond grateful for you all, you made what would have been a horrible day so much better thanks to your service! read more

I got my wheels and tires mounted and balanced about a month and a half ago at this location and they failed to mention that they took chips out of the paint on my wheels, and managed to scratch them up pretty bad. I just noticed it a couple days ago so I'm aware there is nothing I can do about it now but I spent $1300 on my wheels so I'm not very pleased with the outcome since they didn't mention it when I had them mounted. You can clearly tell it was the duck head/tire spoon that chipped them because there's no scuffs on my tires and I definitely haven't hit any curbs. Needless to say, the employees need to inform the customer if they damage their property, because now I'm going to have to come out of pocket for someone to fix my brand new set of wheels because someone did their job incorrectly. I also contacted corporate and got no response. I work in a shop and if someone's vehicle were to be damaged upon being serviced at our fault and expense, I would inform them and make it right by human decency. But hey, it's not their paycheck coming out of pocket. read more

This is the only place I take my cars. Yes, it's a drive but, they are honest and what they charge is better then anywhere else. I needed a small part replaced on my BMW and I took my car to a BMW place that only fixes BMW's. Well, they wanted a ton and told me that I needed to replace two and not just the one. I walked out of the BMW place with sticker shock (should have know with the fancy decor in there waiting area) Took it to Don and he charged half and said there was only one not two. This place get 5 stars from me and my wife. We went there thinking that we had a number of things that needed tending to. Yes we did. But the manager is a very honest fellow and told us that some of the things we thought we needed were not needed. It would have been easy to just go ahead and do them and charge us for them. I am disabled and would never have known. The things that needed fixing cost less than I expected, and when the had finished I felt like I had a new car. It rode like one anyway. Our work was going to take a long time and they gave us a ride home and came to pick us up when finished. They are also a fun and very knowledgeable bunch of guys, on top of being excellent mechanics. I would recommend them to everyone I know who needs work done. read more

I had put in a new headlight but it still wasn't working. They told me the new head light was fine so they would have to check for electrical problems. Turns out I blew the fuse putting in the new bulb. They fixed it and charged me LESS than they had quoted. They are great. It's nice to have someone I trust to take my car to. read more

I was satisfied with the service I received. My only concern was the additional (non-pre-stated) charges tacked on to my bill for misc shop supplies. I paid for wheel balancing and mounting and a 3 year alignment but apparently that didn't include misc. fees for the lube they put around the tire when it is mounted and who know what else. I inquired and the manager said that the almost $11.00 charge was strictly a percentage of the total bill and couldn't detail any other specific shop supplies used. I paid enough at the outset for the tire mounting and balance and $159.00 for the alignment. I feel I was squeezed for more. I could understand a shop charge for a brake job or a oil change, but for a tire change? read more

This place is great! Claudette and the gentleman here are always time efficient even with strict schedules as well as sincerely honest which is difficult to find in this business. After price shopping at several different shops in the area I have found that these guys always have the best price and keep you informed from start to finish. This actually should be no stars! This place tried to rip me off for $1,000.00! I went in to check brake fluid (which was fine) and ended up with a recommended invoice for front/rear brakes, 3 motor mounts and brake fluid exchange for a total of $1,467.70; I was also told verbally that I needed new struts (no I don't). I had my regular mechanic take a look; I only needed front brakes and 1 motor mount all for a total of $575.00! How despicable! I did call and tell the service manager and let him know I was calling to corporate office. I then promptly did call corp. and oddly enough, they can't seem to find my work order. I usually drive to Woodstock to have my truck serviced at Firestone because of past experiences at this tires plus (wait times and ability to even get an appointment). I happened to go in with a friend of mine and found that they had new management. I gave them another shot and I wasn't let down. I went in for an oil change, and yes they found things that needed attention and also the suggested service for my vehicle at 158K miles. What I didn't expect was the Service Manger went above and beyond to cover shocks that were installed 28K miles and 26 months ago at Firestone. Not only did he get the distributor to replace the shocks at no cost to me, but when those same brand shocks blew out when the technician went to install them, he (Service Manager) and Jeremy (Store Manager) upgraded to a better set of shocks still at no additional cost to me. No, the cost wasn't hidden in another service because I left only paying the $24.18 for my oil change. Amazing!!! Customer care and service have once again returned to this Tires Plus location. read more

For the most part, this business is slightly above the one owner tire shops I have used in the past. Tire prices are competitive as well as oil changes and repairs. The store managers are knowledgeable but will typically work the up sale. read more

This Store is awful. My fiancé went in yesterday and received a quote for 4 Tires an oil change and Alignment. We decided to go ahead with the purchase and the manager told him to be at the shop at 9:00 my appointment time (today 2/19) and we will get you in and out. He was there at 8:50 this morning and the only one there. At 9:00 a manager, not the same as yesterday, opened, still no other people there, my fiance told the Mgr. he was there for my 9:00 appointment. He told my fiance they had too many cars left over from yesterday and he would have to wait 4 -5 hours!!! My Fiance told him he made the appointment yesterday. He said they don't take appointments on Sunday. My Fiance purchased the tires due to me having to drive out of state on Monday for a family emergency and now I'm stuck. This was not right and as a customer we did what we were told to do. There is no "PROFESSIONALISM" at this store. How is it the customers fault the employees cannot do there jobs on time. Jeremy (the store Manager) has helped me out on multiple occasions - coincidentally, at two different stores. The first time he helped me was at a store off Highway 92 and Canton Rd. in Woodstock, when I was in search of some new mud terrain tires for my F-250. He answered all the questions I had in regard to the issues I was having, explained what the best course of action would be to address them, and really knew his stuff. He even came out to my truck with me to examine my current tires after listening to me describe the issues I was having, despite the fact that it was raining! Most recently, he helped me out of a serious bind when I randomly stopped by this store (Canton store off Riverstone Parkway) with another vehicle of mine. He really went out of his way to help me get back on the road that day, despite the shop being busy (it was toward the end of the day on a Friday afternoon). I genuinely appreciate the level of service I have received from him, and now that I know he works at this location, it's where I'll be bringing my vehicles from now on. read more
