If I could give this location a "zero" star rating I would. This is the 2nd time I went in for a tire rotation for tire I purchased at this store. Both times, they said the rotation was complete but it WASN'T. This time when I showed them why I know it wasn't done (which I mark them beforehand to be sure) the service tech AND the Store Manager insisted they did the rotation. She even said that they will pull the Bay Area cameras to prove it. They basically were calling me a liar and yelling at me that I was wrong. I was telling them that they did one side but not the other. Well something changed (maybe they did review the tapes) and they admitted they did not do them correctly. And agreed that they will fix it. Why argue with the customer until you do your research first. Terrible customer service and very bad training for their employees. I get regular free rotations I get regular free car check ups I just had my brake pads replaced for the first time after 80,000 miles they allow me to make an appointment they took my car in at the appointment time the brake pads were $158 with a coupon, I felt like the service was great. I was kept informed by telephone of the progress I would highly recommend I feel like this place is single woman friendly I don't think they try to take it advantage . They show you the worn parts before they replace, they discuss in length at your request, any suggestions they may have for replacement parts. I was greeted with a smile and energetic welcome. You can watch the service being done through a window. There is a Waffle house and ihop restaurant 50 steps. You can go get a cup of coffee while you wait. read more

My husband bought tires and had them shipped directly to this location. He came the morning of his appointment and they couldn't find them. There was only person there when he got there, and when the second guy showed up for work he started in the parking lot and checked the oil in his own car. They couldn't find the tires, my husband tracked the shipment and they had been delivered there...but they couldn't find them...he left. They called him the next day, they found them. He went to have them installed, they came out and told him they broke a tire sensor "but they were going to go to an auto parts store and buy another one and he wouldn't have to pay for it". I had tires mounted and balanced here, as well as an alignment done and they messed up absolutely everything they touched. All 4 of my directional tires were installed incorrectly and my car was anything but aligned when I left. I went back to point out these mistakes and ask for a refund and the manager gave me the run around saying it was going to be a "process" for me to get a refund. He took down my information and told me he would be in touch as soon as possible. After waiting a week and hearing nothing from them I called to see if I would be refunded my money and the manager had done absolutely nothing to start said "process". So thank you Mavis for screwing me, I would have left negative stars if I could. Just grateful I didn't let them touch my brakes. read more

I wish I could give this store 0 stars, because that is truly what it deserves. I had an appointment this past Saturday that had been made the previous Wednesday so they would have time to get the tires I ordered in stock. The ordering process was super easy. Fast forward to Saturday morning, my appointment was at 10AM. At 11:45 AM the "manager" (red haired lady at the front desk) called me up to tell me that they did not have the tires I ordered. Apparently the tires had been delivered on Wednesday, the same day I placed my order and appointment, but were sent back due to the showroom being "too crowded". "The store was such a mess when I took over." This is the "managers" excuse for not having the tires I ordered. She proceeded to use every other excuse and blame all other employees but herself, without offering anything to resolve the issue. A service tech, Justin, then came to the desk and told me that they had a different set of tires that were the same size that they could put on until they could get the original tires I ordered back in. We could then come and switch them out. This would have been perfectly fine! The rude "manager" then interpreted and screamed "we DONT do that!" The two employees then begin arguing back and forth because Justin said the tires on my vehicle were not safe to drive and that is their priority. The manager still refused to let that happed. I left the store after 2 hours with no tires, and absolutely nothing was done about it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME at this lousy excuse for a business. read more

I have a bad history with NTB (not this location) so never went here when it was an NTB. I was hopeful that Mavis would not be a problem and so far, so good. I made an appointment for a tire to be patched. The only glitch was that they at first didn't think it would be done quickly (until I explained that I was on lunch and would have to come back if it couldn't be done at my appointment time) and then I got a follow-up email from them saying, "Hey, too bad you missed your appointment!" But they DID get me in quickly and, the price could not be beat. They found the tiny nail I had in my tire and I haven't lost air in it since. read more

So, I had an oil change back in November, before Mike P. took over --- it wasn't stellar, so when I needed another one, and the wait was 3 hours, I took it elsewhere. That was a mistake -- big, huge even. The other shop tried to convince me that Mavis Tire had messed up my car and it would be 1600.00+ to fix. I went through Mavis customer service, and Mike set up a meeting. He went over my car, showed me my oil pan, and made sure there was no problem with my car. This was at the end of the day; we were all tired, and he was upset on my behalf. Mike P -- thank you. Thank you for doing your job with grace and skill. I took my van there to see if they could pin-point the noise coming from the suspension area. They kept it a few hours and said it was the control arm bushings and tie rod ends. They wanted $1200 to fix, would take about 3 hours. (and about $40 in parts) I took it to this new place in Hickory Flat and they said the bushings all looked fine and everything was tight except the tie rod end links, which they tightened at no charge. The bushings were fine but just needed to be tightened!!?? I would've ended up paying $1200 for nonsense from these guys! BEWARE! read more

Came here for brake special to replace front brakes for $114. After inspection was told I needed front and rear breaks and rotors. After 4 hours front breaks complete. Can't do rear brakes today have to bring it back. I live an hour away. So another trip to canton. 3 hours later, rear breaks done. Two weeks later brakes are not stopping like that should and it squeaks now. Third trip to canton. They proceeded to tell me they put wrong brakes on, oh and a caliper isn't working. What happened during initial inspection? So after spending over $600 they want me to make fourth trip and spend $260 more!!!! Because they can't fix it today. I walked in and the first thing I'm asked is, "hey Bud, can I help you?" That wouldn't be an issue except my name isn't "Bud"!!! I asked the worker how long it would be for them to check a slow leak on a tire that I had purchased and the immediate response was "a while". I said define "a while", he said tomorrow at 6pm...... My obvious question is how can I pay +$1,000 for a set of tires --- with road hazard insurance --- and it takes 26 hours to get a leak checked and repaired?? His answer was because they are a "busy" store. Going forward, my plans are to help them be a little less busy. Had an appointment yesterday @6 for an oil change! I was approximately 7 minutes late. So during a 7 minute period several people got in front of me! So then I was supposed to wait until 7:30 to have my oil changed. This isn't the first time this week I've attempted to do this. On Wednesday I call before heading home from work, around 6 in the evening, I was told not to come in because they had a shipment of tires they were having to unload. Ok.. that's why I made an appointment. But even last week I walked in, and was told they are swamped! So unless you have someone to pick you up while they eventually get to your car, I suggest not using them! Or maybe you don't mind waiting for 2 hours... That's if they are willing to even get to your vehicle! I've used them for years, but not anymore! read more

My husband took my car there for them to plug a hole in my tire. They told him that they couldn't plug it because it was bigger than a quarter of an inch. My husband went and looked at the bolt that was in my tire and it was less than half an inch!! Then they were to rotate my tires and my husband said they didn't because he was watching them. He had to go tell someone. I made an appointment online for 1130 and they didn't take it back till after 1230. He was there for over three hours for an oil change, a tire rotation and to plug a tire. I would give this facility less than one star if I could. You would be far better off letting a group of elementary school children work on your car than here. I have had multiple experiences with this facility and none positive. First they completed a brake job on my mother's car where they ground the tabs off a new set of pads to make them fit. Probably couldn't get the right pads so they made some others fit. Luckily she didn't get into an accident. She called me and I had her stop driving the car as it was making a horrible noise from the brakes NTB recently "fixed". They of course claimed they didn't do it and someone else must have sabotaged their work. I guess we can blame that on my 66 year old mother. Second, my son went there for a $19.95 old change with a coupon. They took it upon themselves to upgrade him to full synthetic and charged him $67 for a simple oil change in a small compact car. They claim they asked him if he wanted synthetic but of course didn't explain to him there was a significant up charge to opting to do so. So just another way they prey on people that don't have significant knowledge of automobiles. If you're not mechanically inclined do not take your car here as they will get the best of you. I was skeptical at first because of the reviews from previous customers. Chris the district manager helped me select the right tires as well as the store manager Benny was very helpful too. It's really frustrating as a young woman trying to do business in the auto service industry but I really felt they really were upfront with their service and competitive pricing. I have trusted this shop for several years on my cars. However, today, I had four new tires installed on my son's car, along with an alignment. I was paying over the phone, and when I spoke to the store clerk, he attempted to overcharge me by $60. When I called them on it, they were quick to adjust the price down..but still. How many people do they do this to who don't call them on it? Then, when my son went to drive away, he noticed that all four of his coated rims were scraped around the edges where the tires meet the rims. I spoke with the manager over the phone, and he said to get them repainted and to send him the bill. I explained how that is not going to work because I'm not going to pay money to get them repaired in the hopes of them reimbursing and said that I wanted them to pay the painters directly at the time of work. He flat-out refused (gee, I wonder why). If they were truly willing to cover the cost of the repairs, they would oblige my request without issue. So, instead, they've opted to lose my business forever. I am done with this shop, and I hope you will be, too. read more

The lady at the counter was very short and not informative. I probably should have left theNow I'm 6 months out and went in to get a tire rotation (included with the price of the tires). I scheduled an appointment but when I arrrived was told I should probably come another day. This was my only day off so I couldn't come back. Waited over 2 hours just to get my tires rotated. Communication goes a long way. If someone would have called and said they were extremely busy and I shouls reschedule would be better than disappointing a customer who scheduled this. read more

Unacceptable experience. Purchased 4 tires as well as new shocks, struts. Ended up with one of the brand new tires going flat on I-75 due to a slightly bent valve that caused the air to leak. The valve was slightly bent during the tire replacement, but overlooked. Paid for the new tires to be balanced, but this was never done. Very sloppy work and careless mistakes. It's a circus over here lmao. Two separate brake app's scheduled 2+ days prior and both times they didn't have my brakes or an appointment scheduled the 2nd time lmao. Then she had the audacity to tell me she's not going to do it anyways unless I pay for rotors.
