If I could go lower than a one star I would. STAY AWAY from this place. had an appointment at 7:00am today for a AWD alignment. I get there and the manager Kwame indicated his mechanic had a family emergency. I understand that but why not call me before my appointment and give me a heads up to reschedule. Then he tells me to come back at !2:15 and he would get my alignment done when I arrive, Again I get there at 12:15 still had to wait 30 minutes but it was all good. They pull my car into the bay not the alignment bay but the tire bay with a lift. They then tell me I need additional service before they can do the alignment, I asked what and the named a few parts/services required. I then told them I just got my truck back from my personal mechanic's shop that had jut installed struts, etc on my truck. My mechanic informed the parts they indicated I needed was not necessary to complete the alignment because he had just inspected my truck and the parts they indicated are operable. This place was truly trying to hustle me to pay for more services/parts than what was required as I have a older truck. I guess they felt as me being a women I would fall for their BS. I will NEVER go her again. LADIES please be AWARE as the seem to be trying to finagle women to spend more money. read more

The service here is very poor. They opened late and did not have all of the tires ordered for my 7am appointment. There was no coffee for the patrons, yet they have a coffee station. The restroom was not adequately equipped with with paper towels. Not a customer friendly environment and the service was slow. I will never return to this location and probably avoid Tires Plus altogether. read more

If I could give this place a half of star I would. They are horrible, disrespectful techs. I went in for a rattling noise and they diagnosed my car with needed several things fixed. So I went ahead and got those things fixed. That my car was fixed, next thing I know my car's knocking noise is worse. Keep in mind I already paid 1700 something to get it fixed. They say oooh we left out something you need this fixed. It was another 600 dollars, I will say because it wasn't in the diagnostic I only paid half. Got my car back the second time. It was riding well for about a week. Then all of a sudden it stalls on i-95. Tow truck company makes me aware that the issue was created because parts were missing from the hood. I called corporate to file a compliant. The shop Work Lorenzo called me with the nastiest attitude and expressed that I should not assume they messed up the car. I was beyond frustrated. My car was finally fixed FREE OF CHARGE, because Lorenzo stated he didn't want to go back and forth with me. That is great customer service . Never again. Staff is slow and lazy! I'm late with my review. However I came in the end of last year and paid for an alignment. I'd just purchased tires and the service was rather quick. When I left my vehicle still felt the same so I went back to confirm they did the alignment and was told yes. The next day I was still having the same issue. Due to my location I had to take my vehicle to the dealership and I was informed I needed an alignment. I said well that's impossible I literally just had one done the day before. I contacted tires plus and asked what did they do to my car because the alignment is off and I was just there. They informed me to make an appt and they will have someone look at it again. My issue is if you couldn't get it right the first time then why the hell would I bring my car back again. Long story short picture below is my alignment report after I paid for an alignment at tires plus. So what was done exactly. This was less than 2 weeks after I visited this location. I don't know if the mechanics are being trained onsite or if Their simply incompetent. I've had to replace tires again. Guess this is the reason they give a lifetime warranty because they know their teams don't know what the hell their doing. Smh read more

I realized I had a nail in my tire last night. I used fix-a-flat (Kia Souls don't come with spares) and drove to Tires Plus at 9am this morning. I didn't make an appointment. I was greeted when I walked in, assisted immediately and my wait wasn't longer than 2 hours from start to finish although there were at least 3-4 people ahead of me. The two men that assisted me were friendly and informative. I'll definitely return if I have any other car related issues or need service outside of what I have done at my dealership. read more

Place had quite a few customers and I was given a pretty accurate waiting time (both an hour and half). No problems there, glad they had customers and things to do on a Sunday afternoon. The worker even took the time to go look at my tire prior to having me wait. This was great cause there is nothing more annoying than waiting I r an hour and half only to be told the tire isn't fixable. The facility was clean and looks pretty new. Coffee, wifi, and clean restroom. Great customer service, frequently saw the interactions between employees and customers. Very presentable and professional. Only thing that kept me from the full 5 stars was the price. The patch to fix my tire was almost $35. This was a bit pricier than I've seen for a small tire patch up usually around the $20 range. They took longer than the quoted, and I did not think they were that busy, however, the reason for the 5-starts was the work that was done not the delay. I got four tires and my lifetime four wheel alignment at Firestone was honored there. The bathroom and waiting room were both clean. At 65 mph my 2013 Dodge Charger feels like I am doing 20 mph. Firestone in Waldorf is always packed, and this is a pleasant alternative. The staff was professional and friendly, but the bottom line is the service was what I paid for. I had a appointment for Saturday morning at 9am for Complete Care Package for $9.99, cool they will let me know what's needed and call me before doing anything. Well at 2pm still haven't heard anything from them so I call, well they just started to look at my car, can't find any problems...cool did u check spark plugs, filters, etc... that was suppose to be included in the package, he never answered my question, says that he would need to call me back trying to write tickets for customers inside the store, I wanted my car back soon, I just asked can I get an oil change be done, I knew that was needed, then I was told that it will be another Hour and a half.....geeeeesh they trying to hold my car hostage, finally I was able to pick up my car at 4:35 pm. I never was told what was completed in the Complete Care Package, so I still dont know what was actually looked at. Michelle was good to get me to book an appointment, but is that really necessary when they still had my car for over 6 hours for an oil change. I called Tires Plus to make an appointment a week in advance. I get there and the person on the phone never scheduled the appointment. Because they are understaffed, they couldn't see me that evening. So I make another appointment for the following day to have my oil changed and have the brake fluid flushed. When I show up the next day, I'm told the rep didn't hear me ask for the brake fluid flush, and again because they are understaffed they cannot do it, so I just get the oil change instead. I reschedule again to have the brake fluid flushed the following week. The morning of the brake fluid flush, I call them to verify the appointment, and I'm told they don't carry Honda brake fluid so they cannot do it and I have to go to the dealer. This place is clearly understaffed (expect long wait times if you don't have an appointment - there was a girl in the waiting room that had been there about 4 hours for a tire rotation) and the people working there are not very good at keeping appointments or knowing what they do or don't carry in their shop. My recent experiences will have me looking elsewhere to get my car serviced in the future. read more

Great customer service from start to finish. Opened on time. Greeted with a smile and the Service Adviser Thomas had great customer service. The technician James immediately started on my vehicle once he received the service ticket and I was in and out in less than an hour for a plugged tire. The waiting room was clean and included free wifi. I also attentively listened to Thomas explain to other customers what the wait time will be, he verified whether the parts needed for other customers cars were in stock and kept other customers abreast about there service the entire time. This is the worst place to get tires repaired instead of fixing my tire they tried to sell me a new tire for 250$ Told me I had a nail in my side wall but circled in silver the hole location in the middle of the tire. They were so close to five stars. I swear I had started to draft a review with five, but then something happened..... Located off the Capital Beltway I-495, off Exit 13 Ritchie Marlboro Rd (next to Wawa), Tires Plus was easy to travel to. The interior was very clean and had several tires on display with descriptions of performance features, as well as signs which listed detailed information on each of their services, etc. The waiting area was small, roughly 10-12 chairs, but there was a TV and several magazines. Although I didn't see any, I could see where they likely have coffee available for customers. Pricing seemed reasonable. I had already scouted the tires that I wanted Firestone Destination LE2, and saw they were on sale, and made an appt. Making an appointment online is recommended, as well as signing up for email coupons, or printing out a quote of the price listed online. They were quick getting to my car at my appointment time, and you can watch them work through a giant clear glass of the waiting area. It took a bit longer than I expected, but again, this isn't the type of thing I want rushed. They finished my car and the customer service guy was very courteous, helped explained all the work done, and applied all the promos/coupons I had. For the most part a perfect visit... Except, when I got in the car to leave, my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light was on, which it wasn't before. I knew it wasn't broken, because it gave a pressure fault instead of a sensor fault. I figured they just forgot to reset the sensors (especially since the car horn alarms once each time a wheel is reset and I only heard 3). So I mentioned it before even driving off and leaving. I was told, that it would go off on it's on once I started driving. I was almost certain that wasn't true, as I've gotten new tires before but whatever, I don't do tires for a living so I could be wrong. After a day of driving still the light was on. So a little irritable but not bad, I go back the next morning. I tell the new customer service guy my issue and he has me pull right up, and the technician comes right out. He brings out the TPMS initialization tool, goes to each wheel, has a little trouble the first time and has to start over, but he realized his error on his own, and did it again, 4 horns later and we were done. Took about 10 minutes. TPMS light off, smooth ride, nice tires, happy customer. Although a little hiccup, I will return here. I got the lifetime alignment so there's that, and I'll probably try their oil change services to deem if they're worth the fifth star or need a reduction. I think they'll likely get the 5th. read more

Took my '12 Hyundai Genesis to this Tires Plus/Firestone in Capital Heights for a tune-up, offered at no-charge due to failed work the Firestone in Riverdale, MD (Both are a Bridgestone Company) performed a few months prior. Not long after the tune-up, I drove my car and left it there to check the tune-up, as it wasn't running smoothly... One week later, Tires Plus tells me they can't fix it and I need to take it back where I got the tune-up done. I told them, "You did the Tune- Up!" So, they said it needed to go to the dealer and told me they will pay whatever costs are involved to get the car working properly again. I drove my car to TiresPlus, now they had it towed to Hyundai and it took them nearly 3 weeks to sort out the issues, including the WRONG SPARK PLUGS installed and crimped air-intake hose that appeared to be "shoved back into place" into the engine compartment and now that the costs have gone up to thousands of dollars, Tires Plus/Firestone now refuses to keep their verbal commitment from their Store Mgrs to Hyundai (and myself) for full payment to repair my car back to working order, yet the car is at Hyundai under TiresPlus' repair authorization. As I use my car to travel for work, now I have not been able to effectively do so as I do not even have a rental car from Tires Plus/Firestone as my car sits for its final repair. Needless to say, from my personal experience. I would NOT recommend TiresPlus/Firestone for car mechanical service, as there is INCOMPETENCE within their standard of services offered (i.e. tune-ups; Customer Care), from my direct experience, in my opinion. My car was taken to Tires/Plus-Firestone (Bridgestone Company) on 2/23/16 and today is 4/18/16 --- still No Car... still No Response from my last calls to their Customer Care. Totally unacceptable. Does the entire company function like this? Please repair my car immediately. I will keep all interested folks updated with follow-up posts. read more

I got a flat tire on the beltway heading home to VA from Landover and the AAA attendant recommended this location as the closest to where I was able to pull off and get help. Thomas and the other employees were very friendly, helpful, and relatively fast in helping assess that I needed a new tire for sure, finding me one in stock that would work with the other 3 that are fairly new, and not trying to oversell or tell me that I needed at least 2 of the exact same tires (as I have heard before). Thoroughly pleased! Was able to get a same day appointment for my oil change, came in & had no wait before they got started. The place is clean, looks to be brand new. Very good customer service (yes mam, no mam type of guys). They informed me of my brakes needing to be done. Quoted me the price w/ no pressure, same for another customer I over heard them discussing service recommendations with. While waiting also over heard who seemed to be the boss call in checking on how many appointments & walk ins had come in for the day. Ramping up business seems to be a concern of this tucked away spot & with as great an experience as I had, would really love to see them succeed. A month ago, we got a flat tire while traveling on I-495 and were able to put on a spare tire all the while trying to find a Tire store that was open at 4pm on Saturday. Visiting from out of state, we weren't familiar with the area, so we checked the Yelp app on my phone for the nearest tire store. We saw that several shops closed at 4pm but found these guys at Tires Plus, which closed at 6pm. We got there with enough time for them to put a new tire on for us. We are so appreciative of these guys. If we hadn't found them, we would have been driving on a spare tire until we could find a place on Monday. They were very courteous and professional. I was fully expecting to receive poor customer service when I went to Tires Plus but found this location to be very professional. Originally, I went to the Tire Service Center at BJs and the customer service was so bad there that I refused to give them my money. When I got to Tires Plus, Michelle ordered the tire I needed told me that she'd call me when the tire arrived. As promised she called 2 days later (I have a 2018 Range Rover Velar so the tire wasn't readily available) and I took the car in. The tire was changed in about an hour and I was on my way home. While I waited, I couldn't help but notice how Michelle was so friendly to everyone who walked in the door. Also, after kids were finished playing with the toys in the waiting area, Michelle would disinfect the toys and the play area. As a person who works in Public Health...I appreciated that a lot.
