Let's start with the bad. I had a 3PM appointment at the 2110 Belcher Rd location. I have complimentary service from my warranty company and immediately James tells me he doesn't know how to do it and to take my car to the other location 15 minutes down the road. I get there and I'm greeted by a delightful young lady Amber. She quickly gets the company on the phone for my approval and gets my car in. The entire time she is pleasant and I felt very welcomed. They get my car in and almost to the minute she says it will take they are almost done(app notification)I haven't had a chance to evaluate the actual work(I'm literally sitting in the waiting room as I type this) but if the customer service is a testament to actual car service I will return to whatever shop Amber will be working at going forward. Really wish I could say better things about this place. I towed my car here after it wouldn't start, they ran a diagnostic and told me I had to get a new battery (the battery in there was 3 months old)... so I buy a new battery, and my car wouldn't start 3 days later after leaving the shop with a new battery. I get a call while my car is in the shop & they're down on technicians / unsure what the problem is. I wish I could trust a car shop to have confidence in their work, especially after telling me to purchase a new battery which was completely unnecessary. read more

Warning! Don't ever bring your car to this shop. They are no longer Goodyear and no longer MaGee! Far from it. Worst service ever! Never take your car here. Absolute rip off! Richard Stansell, Store Manager told me my car was fixed when it wasn't. Unable to even process a simple credit request and when I requested to speak to a supervisor he contacted an individual Keith Ravens saying he allegedly was the District Manager who was even less professional than the store manager. During the phone call he called his own store manager a moron stating "so he's a moron". Wouldn't accept the complaint because he said "I wasn't on the phone!" What a bunch of jokers. Left at 2PM on 4/29/23 on Saturday. They are open till 6....ZERO cars in the parking lot...ZERO cars in the bays. NO WONDER. Can't wait until a legitimate garage moves into this place! read more

I have been going to this place for years but ever since it became Tire Choice the service has gone downhill. I went in in Saturday to get some air in my tires. I was told there was a nail in the tire. Next thing you know, I was told it would be $900 for new tires. I told Earl that I did not want to spend that. He said he could offer me a $75 tire but then I wouldn't be happy. He said my tires had dry rot and were not repairable. He wouldn't even try to fix it. I left and took my car to a Goodyear store and was told there was a small amount of dry rot but that the tread was great and that it could be fixed. They did the repair and also gave me a reasonable quote on other tires. I was charged $30 for the repair. I should've been treated better at Tire Choice as I bought the tires there. They did not honor my warranty and refused to to help me unless I bought new tires. I will never go back there again. read more

Been coming here for years, & we've always received great service. Doug always greets us by name as soon as we come in. He also keeps us informed about our service. If ever something additional is required he thoroughly explains why and offers recommendations on the need to perform the unanticipated service immediately or if it could be put off for a while. I talked to Teresa who said she would resolve my complaint I told her that I was a disabled veteran and I was disrespected and she did not respond to that at all just sat on the phone on silence. At no time did she care that while I went there to get my air conditioner fixed which cost twice as much as any other place I found out later but I would not be reimbursed since the air conditioner still does not work. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this shop, I had just moved to Clearwater from Los Angeles California and it was really hard to find a good honest mechanic and somebody you can trust... Dustin the manager stoped me at the door before I left and gave me some amazing advice that made me turn around and take on a really big job, they did a wonderful job it feels like family they are very honest, hard-working and one of the best shops I've ever encountered in my whole entire life, super professional no wonder they handle Clearwater police and Hertz fleet accounts! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! looked on there website, chose a tire , took a screen shot of it and called for detailed pricing down to tax, and installation . Was given a price and told there would be a few dollars more per tire in disposal. I got my bill and it was $200 more then I was told. Which was eventually dropped to about $150 more then I was told. Mike the manager told me I chose a more expensive tire. I only asked for one tire by model and size and never discussed a 2nd tire. I just found out they charged my aunt $1200 for a radiator for an almost 30 year old car. I can buy the part for $200 and install myself in 2 hours. I just spoke to my normal mechanic about it and he said $500 max. Try Wayne at Tip Top Toys, been doing business there for years. Extremely honest and trust worthy. DONT GO HERE!! read more

Came in for a an alignment and new tire spent $300 to only find out my vehicle still pulls to the right I called them to find apparently it was my fault because I said it was okay to put the new tire on my front right. This service center is Great!! They are very nice, helpful, honest and do not seem to try and rip people off, like a lot of other places do. I knew of this place when it was McGee and it always looked like it was very well kept. I had gone to the Tire Choice location, in Palm Harbor, as they got me a great deal on Yokohama Tires for my S U V. Now that they have merged with Tire Choice at this Clearwater location, I am glad - as the people who work here are much better and it is much closer for me. I will be going here for pretty much ALL of my service needs. I have had a couple of Oil Changes done here and you can't beat the price - $17 and some change with the "Drive Card". I recently had an issue with my Sunroof Drain Hoses being clogged - I scheduled an appointment and they had it in and out before my scheduled time even came. AND - the real kicker - They didn't even charge me for it!! They explained that there was quite a bit of gunk clogging them up. He said no charge, I didn't have any cash in my wallet, but was more than willing to pay with one of my cards as, like I told him - "I did have service performed so I will gladly pay for it". His response was "O.K., a hand shake"!! I HIGHLY recommend this place for your vehicle service needs!! They are knowledgeable, efficient, thorough, clean and it seems like they really care about their clientele and reputation. I have told my Daughter to start going here, as well.
