My husband and I were traveling from Atlanta to St Augustine when our tire started to wobble noticeably and I was scared to drive any further. We googled the closest tire shop and wound up here at Tires Plus on 103rd. The area is a little sketchy and run down, but the shop was clean and well kept. They were clearly very busy, but when I explained that we were on the road and not at our destination yet, Tony and the manager (who's name I didn't catch) wrote us up and got someone to look at the car for us. The two front tires were separating. He gave us quotes on 2 and 4 tires so we had options. Recommended the alignment, etc. We were back in the road in exactly 2hrs. The car now drives like a dream. So glad it wasn't something bigger and we happened upon this location to get the work done. read more

I called and ask these specially educated men do they do alignments and did they have same day availability.... SURE stated special ED. I took my son because it was his car that needed the service and we dropped his car off...when I tell you we wasted 2 hours for them to tell us my sons wheels were too big to be aligned. WTH? Two years ago, I purchased 4 new tires at Tires Plus. Thursday, I went in to have the tires rotated. No one has touched the wheels or tires except for the mechanics at Tires Plus. When I was leaving, I was advised that it was entirely safe to drive on, but that a lug nut stem was broken. He didn't want me waiting around all day to get it repaired then and then advised that I return another day. I asked how much and he said not to worry about it. I assumed it was something that had happened there by the way he was communicating with me. I returned the following morning at 8 am to have it taken care of. A different "manager" was there and told me that all the mechanics but one had called in sick. He then indicated that I was going to have to pay over $200 to have it repaired. I'm 72 and have driven old cars most of my life and never had a broken lug nut stem so I googled it. This is what comes up..."improper installation, over torquing of lug nuts, or under tightening of lug nuts can all cause a wheel stud to fail." I will never return there. I have to say that the first manager seemed to be willing to work with me but the second was horrible. He wasn't accepting any responsibility. Please don't go there, at least to that location. The others may be fine but I think I'll return to RPM Motors which I do trust. Yes, they cost more, but not in the long run. read more

My experience before with tires plus if there was recommended work they would call and then they'll you what was need. However, I got no call for that the only call I got was your car was ready. We had our car towed here around 2 in the morning because we'd had a flat and couldn't change the tire to put the spare on. Apparently, the Toyota dealership gave us the wrong "key" to remove the locking lug nuts. There was absolutely nothing we could do to get the tire off. Thank goodness we have roadside assistance that covers tows! Of course when we arrived in the middle of the night, they were closed. The box to leave keys in was missing. So we just had the tow truck driver park it, we locked it, and left it. Bright and early at 7am, we were there when they opened the doors. Even though it was obvious there was a car sitting there with a flat tire, we wanted to make sure they knew it was ours and it wasn't going to get towed off somewhere else for being abandoned or something. Yea... we were a tad bit paranoid. LOL The guys here were super awesome. It was our driver's side front tire that blew and we already knew we need a new front tire on the passenger side (we'd just been putting it off). They gave us a great price and were so friendly. They didn't try to oversell us on anything. We also took care of the pesky problem of having the wrong "key" for the lug nuts. We had them remove all the locking lug nuts from the tires and replace them with regular lug nuts. In the future, we'll never have to deal with not being able to put a spare on if we need to. Since our back tires were in such great shape, they rotated those to the front of the car and put the two new ones on the back of the car. They didn't charge us extra to do this. Within two hours, we had two brand new tires, new lug nuts, tire rotation, and great customer service all for just a little over $200. I absolutely would not hesitate to return to this location in the future when I'm in need of a new tire/tires. Thank you, Tires Plus! read more

We got two new tires, tire rotation, and four new lug nuts to replace the lock nuts that came with the car at the dealership...All of this came to a little over 200 dollars... The guys who helped us were all very nice and they didn't try to make us buy something we didn't need. This is a great place to go for all your tire needs. read more

Manager is a joke. They always running late with appointments, staff is not friendly, their service is very slow and they tried to sale you maintenance your car don't need right away. They talk professional but are far from it. My wife has gone to your place of business several time and all were a sever mistake on her behalf because of the constant descrepancies on your behalf if it wasn't for another tires plus we would be having some major problems. You replaced belts on my car with the incorrect belts, replaced my oil plug with the wrong one among other parts, also you forgot to put splash gaurds, bolts and other needed parts on my vehicle. This place is a sever hazard for anyone who owns and operates a vehicle. read more

Where do I begin. Went to Tires Plus on several occasions with a check engine light several visits later and $500 in I still have check engine light and no answers. Employees said and I quote car is possessed. On one occasion the car was to be left locked up in the parking lot and when I went to pick it up it was locked in the bay causing me to be late for work. The first time employ was helpful employee was helpful and Pleasant, but the last two times very rude. Each time I left the car only ran worse than the time before. Took the car elsewhere and in one day got the answer that I needed to get it fixed. I feel that I was taken advantage of because of being a female. If I didn't have lifetime warranties on the car with Firestone-Tires Plus I don't think I would return. If the mechanic can't do their job then how is that my fault. read more

Went there for a 19.00 oil change which turn to 32.00. Then I was told battery needed replace and they had a special for 89.00 which after all done it came out 150.00 that's the most expensive oil and battery change ever never again will I go there.I felt I was at jiffy lube.
