The appointment for two front tires took 2.5 hours. They then returned my car with a missing hubcap. I noticed right away but assumed it was in my car as that has happened before. I got home and could not find the hubcap and the store was closed. The next morning the store manager first tried to blame me and said it fell off on the way home (that has never happened on this vehicle). He then told me to order one and come back in for a refund. The original hubcaps are near $100. The manager then said he will order some for $16 and call me. I even accepted the aftermarket hubcap that will not match but its been over a week and they seem to care less about it. read more

Went in for a brake inspection today. When I arrived the man at the counter told me because of the hot weather they could inspect the brakes but couldn't do any work because the heat was making some of the guys not feel well. I said at least visually inspect the surfaces because he said there was a caliper test they do as well. I thought well maybe they'll cut corners because of the heat so I sat down outside under a tree with my eyes trained on the car. BINGO! The tech. took the rear tire on the passenger side off and the tech was tapping on the brake drum with a sledge hammer to what I thought was to help remove the drum cover. I never saw him take off the drum cover on that side and on the driver's side they never removed the rear tire at all. Despite that they told me my brakes were in good shape. I couldn't believe they were telling me this despite not seeing them do the work to be able to view the brake shoes, hardware, and drums. I call that fraud not to mention pretty dangerous. read more

We called them on a Friday morning to inquire about getting an appointment for our vehicle. They had the tire we wanted in stock and got us a same day appointment! The price was the best we found in the Sun Prairie and East side area. Covid procedure not great here. The lobby is not sanitized and employees/customers not wearing masks or not wearing them properly. This factor is the only thing holding back the rating. read more

Trash. Scheduled an appointment online because the Tires Plus website states this location is open Sundays. Get to the store and it's locked up, lights off, and the posted hours indicate this store is closed Sundays. Live chat couldn't even locate this store in the first place and said I must be mistaken because this store doesn't exist. Customer service via phone just said they probably didn't have enough people to staff this place on Sunday. They wouldn't even put a comment in or escalate this to get the hours changed to reflect this location isn't open. I took off work today to get a flat repaired. I lost 8 hours of PTO because of this AND I still have a donut on my car. read more

Amazing on E Wash in Madison WI. Only Honda has my transmission fluid for them to have you spend more to do it there . They called and personally went to get the fluid for me so they can do the flush cheaper. I already have had them do my full set of tires twice. Will definitely have them do my fuel system clean out soon. Great team. read more

They took an hour and fifteen to take a nail out of my tire and patch it up and then they broke my valve stem to which I didn't know until I go to put air in my tires. Definitely go anywhere else. Your neighbor probably does a better job. read more

My go-to place for oil change and basic car maintenance. Most of the staff is friendly (there's only one person who has tried to up-sell me). They regularly have online coupons for an oil change. They accept appointments and provide service in the time promised. Their prices - especially for tires - are very competitive. I used to not mind sitting and working during my service, but they've remodeled their waiting area. Their waiting area is chairs only (they used to have tables) with a television, and the wireless isn't reliable. (Also, it can be kind of tricky to get in and out of this location. There is a single entrance, and you have to be traveling east on E Wash in order to turn on to Macarthur road.) read more

We were traveling and got the low tire pressure warning. Tried filling up at a close KWIK TRIP and it deflated our tires more. We saw Tires Plus and told them the situation. With out a pause, they told us to pull up and they would fill and check out. PERFECT!! The young man had us on the way and gave us a few pointers for safety. Staff there are very rude (bob was the man working, and the lady had short hair) they treat customers like they are stupid. When I went in for my appointment, I was not in the system and they told me this was my fault, when we later found that it was their fault. Their prices are extremely high (32$! For a tire leak to be patched, when I should've went anywhere else and got charged 5$)I waited for 2hours 30min for them to patch a tire, after being told it should take 30min. 3.5 I have been here for oil changes many times. They always do a great job and the employees are friendly and professional. Bonus points for coupons- check the website for printable coupons. They will almost always throw in a free tire rotation also, just ask. My main concern is that sometimes it takes a very, very long time to get in and out of there- an oil change and tire rotation can take an hour if they are busy. They need to work on this. read more

The manager and mechanics are kind, honest people who provide phenomenal service. I went in to have my muffler and center pipe replaced due to rusting issues. They saved me $600 over the dealership service quote, had the required parts delivered within the hour, and finished the maintenance itself in about an hour. The customer service here is so ridiculous, I shouldn't be standing at the front desk waiting for 10 minutes for someone to check me in meanwhile I can see clear as day in the shop technicians working but I have made eye contact with them multiple times and they don't even acknowledge me or step inside to say someone will be with you shortly. Brought my car in and Tire Rack quoted 20.00 to change tires. All my tires were on the rims and they just had to take winters off and put summers on. The woman staff were extremely nice. I noticed the woman manger look when I asked the price when they were done. She said it is $50.00. I could see in the look in her face I was being ripped off. I left and called the Ties Plus in Fitchburg and the manager informed me it would cost $10.00 for all four tires. I am still waiting for the Corporate office to call me back. I went to tires plus because my tire light was on when I made an appointment the day before I set a tires plus for two hours for them to tell me that I had a slow leak in waited another 30 minutes for them to fix the slow leak before I left they told me my light will go off within 15 minutes I drove it for 15 minutes and my light stayed on one they made me wait for two hours and did not fix anything I had to go to another tire place for them to just fill my tires up with air and the light automatically turned off I will never be returning to that tires plus again read more

My service manager, Jennifer, was fantastic--personable, responsive, informative--for my last visit in early December 2020. During this visit, the rear brake pads and rotors were replaced; the mileage on my car was close to 201,100. Here's the reason for the low rating: I had my car in the shop this week (different company/shop, different repair) and was told that the rear brake pads have 30% life remaining. (My current mileage is almost 210,000.) How does 70% of the rear brake pads deteriorate over the course of 5 months/less than 9,000 miles?!? The service manager I saw this week explained that the calipers on the rear brakes were not properly cleaned/lubed when the rear brakes were repaired in December 2020, causing the brake pads to stick in different places. He also found rust on the rear brakes, which should have been taken care of back in December. My advice: find a more reliable/experienced mechanic that isn't going to make such a costly mistake. read more

Ordering the tires was ok. I went in store to do it. It did take about 45 minutes and the wrong size for the front tires was almost ordered, but the person helping me was friendly and helped me get everything squared away for a mail in rebate. My appointment to get the tires installed was a week later and that's where things went south. I dropped the car off to have the service done. When I returned to pick it up, approximately a half hour of receiving the call that it was done, I saw my car sitting outside the front door in what may have been the fire zone. . The driver's side window was all the way down making it very easy for someone to walk by and grab something out of my car. And since it was parked right in front of the entrance, it made this an even greater possibility. The sky was also overcast so if it rained, I don't think anyone would have gone outside to roll the windows up. So after going inside to get my key and leave, I got back in my car and was welcomed by grease all over the driver's side seat, arm rest, door handle, and gear shifter. I went back inside and told the person working about this. He had someone go out and attempt to clean it up. After 5 minutes, he said he was done. I went back to the car and it looked like he had only halfway cleaned it up. I then went back inside to inform the person in there that the car was still not clean. This time, he was the one that went out and cleaned it and did a much better job than the original guy. He was also apologetic. He seemed to get everything off except for two tiny spots, which may or may not have been there before. Unfortunately, my experience with this store did not end that day. About a week later, on a Saturday afternoon, I went to my car in the garage and the rear passenger tire was low. The tire pressure was at 4psi. I took out my mini compressor and put air in the tire which took about 20 minutes. While filling it up, I could hear the air leaking out slowly. I took the car to Firestone down the street to have it looked at. After nearly an hour of waiting, Firestone told me that tire was installed incorrectly and that the tire bead was damaged and would not seat correctly. They told me they could temporarily fix it and put it back on since there was no place near that had the same size tire in stock. Firestone called Tires Plus and told them what happened. I was told to go in to Tires Plus and let them know what happened. After spending nearly 3 hours of my Saturday afternoon at Firestone, I drove over to Tires Plus to let them know what happened and get another tire ordered. However, it was a Saturday and there wasn't a manager there so there was nothing they could do. I called first thing Monday morning, explained what happened, and got a new tire ordered. I picked it up the next day and had it installed at Firestone and everything was ok. It's hard to believe that Tires Plus and Firestone are owned by the same company. One was horrible and one provided great customer service. read more

I needed a very particular size of tires for my old Beetle. Online I noticed that a brand which made the size I needed was on sale (buy 3 get 4th free). Tires Plus didn't stock these tires but they got them in the next day for me. I also needed a little hand with something else on my car, something they don't actually do there, and the guy helped me out. All in all the service was great, timely and had some of the best prices in the area. read more

I am a fan because they were 100% honest with me on what was going on with my tire leak and didn't try to just take my money by telling me to purchase a whole new part when they knew I only needed a small piece of it that could only be bought from the dealer. I work in Middleton so usually go to Discount Tire, but live on the East side and was busy during the week so decided to give Tires Plus a try on a Saturday for a tire repair. I knew Tires Plus would charge $25 for the repair (Discount Tire does not charge for repairs even if you didn't ever buy tires there) Tires Plus said that my tire wasn't repairable, and were trying to pressure me in to four new tires. I made them put the wheel back on and got out of there because I didn't trust them that the tire wasn't repairable since my tires were only a year old with 8,000 miles on them. I took the time out during the week to go to Discount Tire, and they had my tire repaired and balanced for free while I waited in about 45 minutes. There was a screw stuck in the tread so it makes me wonder if they even tried to look at why my tire was leaking at Tires Plus. I would really recommend staying far away from Tires Plus on Macarthur Rd. because they will try to scam you. The Firestone tires they were trying to sell me didn't look like very good quality tires either, I prefer something like the Pirelli P7 that has great performance and doesn't break the bank for an all season tire. read more

I recently had my tire light go on and promptly got over to this Tires Plus where I've gone for several years for tire fixes. Since I live nearby, I was able to leave the car and it was "fixed" the next day by way of a patch. Fast forward to a trip for Christmas up north and again, the light goes on - now I feel I need a new tire which I obtain elsewhere and they (new tire place) verified that NO patch was done by Tires Plus on my tire. They showed me the tire -- there was no patch whatsoever in it. I put my grandkids in this car!! This could have been bad. My husband made appointments to get our winter tires put on both of our cars. They couldn't get us in at the same time so made us appointments an hour apart. My husband brought his in first with the intention of waiting and playing on his computer. He was disappointed that there were no tables like there were at their West Side location. When I got there to bring my car in, we were going to head out to grab dinner but they still didn't have his car done. Both his and mine took TWO hours each. He did get an oil change with his as well and he ended up getting that for free when he brought up the long delay but the amount of waiting was ridiculous. Took them 2 hours....I complained to the manager, Bob, who said it isn't his problem and that there isn't anything he can do about it. I told him that since he is the manager, it is his responsibility. He asked me "What can I do..." I said, you can start by doing my tires for free....He said "fine" and walked away. I expected to wait (in part because I didn't know where else to go), but was told without an appt it would be 4 hours wait. My thinking is if you're a tire repair facility, keeping an open slot each day for unexpected flats would be good practice. I have been to 3 and they all over charge and try to nickle and dime you to death. 2 times were just for an oil change 2 hours average wait time. Even though told would get right in. The last time charge $50 just to look at car. Instead off charge they lowered my oil change to $25(thanks). Ended paying $75 for an oil change and for my car to be looked at?? They are always at prime locations and will always take you. But be aware you will be taken to the cleaners and customer service is the worst I've experienced! read more

I would give a half star but the rating system doesn't go that low. I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday afternoon so they could look at it Saturday. It has some squeaking up front and a little shimmy in the front end. I wanted them to look at it Saturday morning because the squeaking is only after it starts in the morning. I was also told Saturday was wide open. I called Saturday about 11 because I hadn't received a call by then yet. They said nobody drove it yet or even started it. Maybe they got busy, who knows. I went on with my day. Sunday morning I called them and STILL it hadn't been touched. I told them I was coming in to collect my van because apparently nobody wanted to do anything with it. When I got there, all the bays were empty. I've been a loyal customer to Tiresplus for years. That has ended as of today. A huge waste of time.
