Club like boba store. Offers half off to first responders. They have unique and creative drinks here. Decent boba. Drinks are on the sweeter side. Opens pretty late. I got the grambruelee. Brown sugar black tea topped with graham crackers. Adds a nice cinnamon taste and crumbly texture to the drink. Good place if you are craving a sweet drink with different flavor combinations. Quick service and lots of parking in a busy plaza.

    Totaro w/ Boba

3.5 rounded up. Great location, ample parking, near an In-N-Out, pretty hard to beat. I've heard Tisane is a top 3 spot but think it's very dependent on audience. Feels like the hip high school spot. Tons of specialty drinks with interesting blends but lacking some of the basic, OG drinks. Being open late is a plus but way too sweet, even when adjusted. Totaro w/ Boba - 25% sugar was way sweet, tasted like regular levels. Either their typical sugar is too high or they don't accommodate sugar adjustments, both of which are poor experiences. Boba was inconsistent as some pearls were cooked well and sweet whereas others were undercooked and firm. On the other hand, taro was creamy and there was a faint floral taste from the green tea.

Came in the afternoon. Kiosk was located away from front door, but people using it blocks the aisle to the back. The music was on so loud that I think they don't want you to stay long. If you're hard of hearing, you can tolerate the loudness. However, the boba was good and haven't found this flavor.

There are such mixed reviews for this place, but I needed to try it for myself and I was pleasantly surprised. They serve quality tea with punny names, but their Roasted Oolong (Roast is History) was some of the best I've had in the Bay. Their fruit teas are on the sweeter side so would recommend 50%, but the Melon Rouge is quite good. The interior is really nice with black leather couches in three separate sections, perfect for larger groups. You mostly order on kiosks and they do offer DoorDash

Go-to spot for many young teenagers who have a sweet tooth (most likely because they still have the health to handle it!). I like that they offer a variety of unique drinks and fruit flavor pairings that sets them apart from other milk tea stores! I ordered the Dew Berrymore at 25% sweetness and less ice, and it still came out really sweet! Super strong artificial honeydew flavor, which I enjoy and find refreshing when paired with the sharpness of the jasmine green tea. I think if they incorporated a berry flavor into this to match the name of the beverage and reduced the honeydew, it'd also have a nice aftertaste! My boyfriend ordered the Blush because the description in the store said it was infused with strawberry puree, and he was a tad disappointed since it doesn't seem like these drinks have actual fruit in them. It was also very sweet and he wasn't a huge fan. The jellies had a good texture to them.

The best taro boba tea ever! They serve it with salted cream cheese on top so it's sweet& savory

Don't order blueberry matcha, you don't get any matcha. Just milk and blueberries

Fast service but their blueberry matcha tasted and looked like milk mixed with blueberries and no matcha. I had my husband try to finish it because I don't like wasting. He could only drink so much before we threw it out. He ordered life's a peach which was good.

The fall off is hard. Change of ownership shows. Seems like the recipes changed and especially after everyone quit last year, no one knows how to do everything originally from before. Sure the service is typically quick, but Tisane was always a place a little bit better than average. It's always going there for the vibe and how late it's open, but now I'm paying for 7-8 dollar drinks that literally taste average. I had the sugar hill the other day and it tasted only like black milk tea. It's pretty hard to mess up fruit tea because it's literally syrup, but the milk tea itself is basically the same. It's unfortunate, but this place really did fall off.

Two 2 to Mango Tea with boba

I ordered on the self-order kiosk and appreciated that they had photos of each drink on there! I got the Two to Mango with boba 75% sweet but it was still pretty sweet so I would try 50% next time. This is a great place for late night boba. It's also nice that they decorated inside for the holidays!

Boba place that looks like a nightclub. Only 3 tables. Parking is ok. The boba drinks were good. The strawberry drink could have been more blended. I would come here again. Nice and cold AC in the summer.

Tried Tisane for the first time couple weeks ago. Will definitely say if I'm in the area late night I will be visiting this Tisane again. The ambiance was really cool, they had nice lights inside and big mirrors around the indoor sitting area. Definitely gave off club vibes. The service was really good, the bobarista gave out very good beverage recommendations. The drinks of course were just alright. I definitely had better at other locations. I overall give this business a 4/5 star review. It's the not the best tasting milk tea shop I have tried this year but I would say the vibes and the social space of this business was the great. Will definitely be back whenever I am in San Jose and craving a milk tea late nights.

This was my first time at this location and it must have been a quiet day as the staff were sitting down and chatting. I didn't want to interrupt so I placed my order on the kiosk. Most of the drinks come with topping already and some of the sweetness level can't be adjusted. Price for the drinks are almost the same as other boba spots. The interior is clean with a lounge aesthetic. There are two claw machines by the entrance. The drinks were a good and hit the spot in this warm weather.

Consistently delicious boba in the Bay Area. A classic San Jose spot, that has amazing milk teas, and delicious pearls.

    Ask the Community - Tisane

    Is there taro?

    Yes there's taro Gabby

Hey guys, dairy free and non-dairy are two different things. Dairy free is completely dairy free (no milk ingredients at all), non-dairy items can still have milk ingredients like whey casein lactose. Are the teas here dairy free or non dairy?

    Non dairy

So they have an Oreo one?

    Yes

Is golden milk tea and melon rouge caffeine free?

The Golden and Melon Rouge are not caffeine free. I know Barney and Fruits as well as Green Panda are.

What are the hours for New Year's Eve and new years?

    12pm - 9pm on new year's eve and close new year's day.

What are your drinks without caffeine?

To name a few: Green Panda, Pink Volcano, and Tiger King.

Do you have gift cards for sale?

Michelle, we don't have gift cards but we do have an app and you can load money on the app. It's a loyalty app so they get rewards as well. Search Tisane in the app or pay store.

What are the hours during this quarantine?

John, We are open daily from Noon to 10pm. Let me know if you have any other questions.…

Are you open for takeout or delivery (through DoorDash) during shelter-in-place?

Yes, we are accepting to go DoorDash orders during the Shelter In Place Order

How do they get the Porto's cheese rolls?

Ordered online and then shipped to them.

What are the hours for New Year's Eve?

Correction - we are open until 9pm tomorrow - New Year's Eve. Come by and grab a tea!

Are the milk teas dairy free?

Yes, indeedy. From the Menu, "Tisane's milk cream is non-dairy, gluten free, and lactose free."

Why does the inside look like pekoe even though they aren't associated with each other?

The reason is that the creator of Tisane was the creator of Pekoe. His ex cheated on him and stole Pekoe from him and then opened their second location which isn' doing well. Rather than shelling out his money through court to take Pekoe back, he…

    Are they serving chicken wings?

Not currently but they will start soon!

    How do you pronounce Tisane?

    Teh-sahn

    What is their wifi password?

    goldleaf - all lowercase.

Does anyone know when their Grand opening is?

Asked today may 4th and they said in 2 weeks so may 18?

Can anyone provide an update on their hours?? It's been almost a month since their "soft opening" and still no definite hours on the yelp page.

I think it’s open everyday now . Not sure about the hours

What is the trilogy on the menu?

    What are their hours?

I have asked the same question to a Tisane employee about this. She told me that they don't have one yet since it's still their soft opening so at the moment it would be 4pm-11pm until they no longer have their soft opening.

RANG Final…read moreThoughts: 4.50/5 Review for Rang. They have weekly matcha pop ups at Rose Tea Lounge. Original location is in Elk Grove, but they are here in San Jose area. Kind of hard to see and find them? given that there aren't really any signs posted outside. I perhaps wouldn't have known about it if my friend didn't tell me about it. Drink: Guava Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This is their matcha with house-made guava puree at the bottom and topped with silky guava foam. Their foam is so nice and creamy. Felt very light and just thick enough. Silky consistency that mixed well with the drink. My friend noted that they make it fairly sweet, so I opted for the 25%. This was still quite sweet for me. Each component is sweet itself, so when you combine it, its mostly just sweet. No tartness to cut any of it. Perhaps the guava has something to do with that. Guava is a sweet fruit in general, so I seemed to expect as much. The matcha itself had a nice color to it. Very vibrant. Light bitterness. Lovely consistency overall. I like each component separately and I like them together when it's fully combined. Strawberry Matcha Einspanner: 4.5/5 This was my friends drink and I also really liked it. Had to try it for my review purposes. Per their Door Dash description, this is their matcha latte with their home-made strawberry puree and topped with velvety strawberry foam. There really wasn't much of a difference with this one and mine besides the fruit. His was slightly more tart than mine, which is something I like. Again, the drink itself leans more on the sweet side, so any sort of tartness would be nice to cut some of that. Matcha color is amazing. Nice and vibrant. Lovely silky consistency. I like the ratio of fruit flavor and matcha. Some places will make it just taste like milk, others have an imbalance of flavors. This one was just right for me. --------- Quality: Ceremonial Matcha and whisked to order We saw them whisk the matcha to order. Not really a display cooking kind of counter, but they do do all of that in the front where the cashiers are. You are able to watch if you so choose. I do like the matcha that they use, so it seems like a high quality one. That or it's because they aren't batching their matcha like other places. I understand that batching doesn't make it lower quality, but something about whisking it fresh is always better. Price: Average Will depend on the drink, but the prices are around $7 to $9. For our drinks, average around $8.25 per drink. Quite a common price range for a cup of matcha. This one was made well, so no complaints here. There was no upcharge for the oatmilk, which is always a plus for us. Service: Whisked matcha fresh No interactions today. We ordered directly on the kiosk and then just waited for our drinks to come out. Something that I like is that they whisk and make the matcha in front of us. Kind of hard to see, given my height and spot that we were standing, but they do whisk it in the front for us. Of note, they use this hand towel or cloth to wipe the bowls. Not sure how sanitation does with that, but I digress. Just an observation for today. Ambiance: Quaint Flower Café Vibes This place is giving very quaint flower café vibes. I would totally work here if I could work from home or if I needed to study. Space is incredibly spacious on the inside contrary to how the outside and plaza area is looking. Little dim lit inside, but that might be from the little lighting that's hitting through the windows given the angle and evening sun. Location/Parking: Small Plaza This place is like a pop-up/collaboration with Rose Tea Lounge. There's really no label for it outside of the storefront, but when you go into the café and on the kiosk, you can directly order from them. Kind of interesting how it works and I probably would have never seen it if my friend didn't bring me here. Location is not the best as it is right in a smaller plaza on the side of Story Road near the 101 freeway. At least they chose an area that is slightly less saturated. Vietnam Town is really close by and they really do have too much going on over there sometimes. Parking lot is also small, but it seems to work well with the smaller plaza size.
