I love boba and this hits the spot. I needed my boba fix. My usual from Tisane is the Duke of Earl. The ride and Thai are very good as well. You can order through the cashier or the do-it-yourself cash register. The worker went to check up on me if I needed help because I was using the cash register. It was kind of dim for me because I can't see it as well but that could just be me. The inside is always amazing. They change it every big holiday. I got the BAE-nana and honestly it was pretty deliciousz. You can definitely taste the banana milk taste and also you do not need to have such a high amount (or no amount) of sugar for this drink. Even though I got less sugar, I thought it was still on the sweet side. I also got boba as an add on and I thought the boba was a bit hard, which was mainly why I took a star off. I go here for 2 of their drinks: The Bae-Nana and the Blush. The Bae-Nana is my go-to order and the only drink I ever order here after literally trying everything on their menu. It is a Jasmine tea with banana flavored milk and their house made grass jelly. I get it 75% sweet, regular ice and I do not add boba. This drink is THE drink if you love banana milk. I haven't found a boba shop anywhere in the bay area that makes this drink even half as good! Most of the time, other places use a banana flavoring syrup to put into their milk tea which makes it overly sweet and have a very strong altricial banana taste, but Tisane makes it perfect without making it overly sweet or having that strong altricial after taste while still tasting like jasmine milk tea. The House made grass jelly perfectly balances the flavors, but if your big on texture with your drink, you might want to opt out of this and replace it with boba. Blush was my old go-to drink before I decided to try the Bae-Nana. My daughter LOVES this drink and this is the only place that "makes it right" according to her. We've tried ordering something similar at other places, but it never taste the same. There a balance between the tea and the strawberry flavoring. Their drinks are very consistent and the employees get the drinks made FAST even though the line is usually out the door (not to mention they do get a lot of Doordash/ Uber Eats orders). The majority of their drinks are customizable so you can change the level of sweetness to your preference. They're other drinks are pretty good too, it's just that me and my daughter found OUR drinks and refuse to get anything else here (lol). 10 our of 10 would recommend this place! read more

Tisane is a nice little spot when everything is closed by 10 or 11 pm (they are opened until midnight every day). It can get pretty packed here, since not many boba spots opened late night, but I feel like the line goes by quickly even when they are busy. I tried a mixed of fruit teas and milk teas. I tried their Dew Berrymore, Barney and Fruits, Blush, Golden, Two To Mango, RPM, Ride or Thai, and Jasmine Milk Tea. My favorite was their Two to Mango with boba instead of the mango jelly stars that come with it. If I am back next time, I will try either their BAE-Nana or their salted cheese creama. read more

I finally visited Tisane in SJ! When I saw they have these adorable Christmas decorations right now I knew this was my sign to finally go check it out! I came in with my friend shortly after they opened and they quickly took our order and made are drinks! The drinks were photogenic as well as the Christmas display they have for the holidays! I got the Tiger King drink and loved it, definitely a great Brown Sugar drink, I'd try it again! My friend really enjoyed her drink as well! Such a cute spot to take pictures at as well for the holidays, they have giant mirrors on the wall making it easy to take mirror selfies! It was very clean and lots of large spacious seating as well. It kinda reminds me of a smaller nightclub setup but for boba and Christmas. They had good music playing too! Will definitely come back! (No milk) Kiwi to my heart -- 10/10 heart jelly sweet tea flavor (no milk) IMO, Barney & fruits & ghost dragon taste the same lol If you're looking for something with milk, green panda -- 8.5/10 tastes like Viet dessert "chè" -- mung bean and pandan flavor. Mango matcha -- 8.5/10 make sure to mix well! The mango bits is really sweet but balance with the matcha is perfect! Great combo! Arknada with boba 8/10 -- cool blend and pretty! creamy brûlée strong matcha flavor w/ rly soft boba!!! Their drinks are on the sweeter side, but you could easily adjust your sweetness level. Not an avid boba drinker, but the blush pink drink they have is highly addicting. I ordered this for the first time and the refreshing sweetness blew me away. They also include cute strawberry heart gelatins, for added flair and aesthetic. I've gotten it multiple times and one other drink last time and it has never failed me. They are very good at practicing social distancing rules during this time and have only one person at a time in the restaurant to order. If you go at night be prepared to see a ton of teenagers showing off their horrifically modified cars in the parking lot and being really loud. This is probably our most favorite tea/boba spot in San Jose. Admittedly, there were times we would go here weekly. We have since curtailed our weekly habits to more bi-weekly, but whenever we are craving tea, Tisane is the place to go. Our go-to drinks are the BAE-Nana, Barney and Fruits (substitute the mandarin oranges with Lychee Jelly), Green Panda, Melon Rouge or Two to Mango. Ambiance is pretty good - they have loud EDM music blasting on the speakers, and sometimes the TV's music video accompanies the speakers. There are three large U-shaped leather couches to lounge on inside. At times could be dark with neon lights too. On weekend nights there are frequently lines out the door, but the wait for the drinks are not too long. The menu does not change too much, but occasionally there are new drinks which are not necessary found on the overhead menus. Tea was strong and I liked the inclusion of the lychee jelly. I would definitely recommend to get half sugar or less since the jelly inclusions make the drink sweeter. But honestly, I didn't really see the hype. Ride or Thai- This drink was the most opaque drink I have ever seen. The tea was okay, I would have appreciated more tea flavor and this was more on the sweet side. I didn't like the crystal boba with this drink, I would have liked regular boba with it a lot more. For 4 drinks ($4.95 each, all come with toppings) + tax and DoorDash fees (about $5) and tip (suggested $5 because I live 30 minutes away), the total comes out to a little under $30. I feel like this price is reasonable due to how far away I live. Typical delivery fee is $4.99. I love their Taro Milk Tea -- I got 75% sweetness. They have a solid sweetness scale that isn't too sweet. The Taro is a decadent and delicious treat! "Green tea oolong milk tea blended with taro" makes for a smooth and richly flavored taro beverage and the whipped creamy topping is to die for. It's too cheesy or heavy (less cheesy than Happy Lemon), it adds an airy, savory layer to your boba drink. This drink is seriously a must-try for taro lovers!
