I swear going to the gym should motivate me to stay away from milk teas, but I always want something sweet after a workout. After the gym this morning, I looked around and decided to try a new Happy Lemon spot nearby. Wow - this shopping center (behind Target) has a TON of milk tea/coffee shops all around. Just from where I parked, I saw at least 6 other shops - all slightly different focus, but all milk tea/coffee/drinks based. How is that possible?! But hey - at least if you come with a group of people - everyone will get something from this plaza with all the choices offered here! The parking lot is decent sized - crowded, but I was able to get close parking pretty quickly. The area seems to be pretty unkept - there were tons of trash around the parking lot and cars parked on the red areas designated for firetrucks. I'd be really concerned if a fire broke out, as it wasn't just one or two cars. I ordered ahead on the app, and when I got to the store - the worker was helping someone else, so I waited. About 5 mins later, I went up, told him my order and he went and got my waffle - all without saying a word. I thanked him and left. My waffle was overcooked - not burnt, but dry and hard. The drink (okinawa brown sugar boba, 50% sugar) was good. The boba was nicely chewy and has a good texture, but was pretty flavorless. The drink tasted good and was pretty standard for a Happy Lemon. Overall, I don't think I'll be back at this location. It's a bit out of my way and parking seemed disastrous if there was ever an emergency. While I understand that it's not Happy Lemon's fault - it does take away from the experience. Additionally, while service was quick and my order was ready - the waffle was overcooked and customer service was lacking. read more

Happy lemon is my go to place when I'm craving salted cheese. I usually get their black tea with salted cheese which they are most known for. It's creamy and the cheese goes amazingly well with the tea. I recommend not mixing the drink and just sipping from the top of the cap (no straw!) at an angle. It brings the perfect balance of cheese and tea together. If you want something fruity, I also really enjoy their mango matcha. It's one of my favorite fruit smoothies. So, I've been coming to this spot for a while now, and it's always been a favorite of mine. But I must not have been here in a minute because, wow, the mango matcha has definitely leveled up in size! Seriously, it's so much bigger than I remember. I mean, thank goodness, because I used to ask them if they could put it in a bigger cup, but they were never allowed to for some reason. So, I'm pretty thrilled they finally decided to size up! Another go-to of mine is A2. It's a classic. I usually toggle between the mango matcha and A2, depending on whether I'm in the mood for something tea-based. The mango matcha itself just taste like a mango smoothie with just a tiny hint of matcha. As for the ambiance, it's alright. Nothing too fancy, but it's a comfortable enough spot to hang out and enjoy your drink. Overall, I'm just glad they finally made that size upgrade--it's about time! read more

I've been to many Happy Lemon locations and this one seems to be the most consistent out of them all. The workers make drinks fast and they provide great customer service. This location also has a tablet as well, so ordering is efficient. Drinks are consistently good and the texture of the boba is good. Low quality boba tea place. We ordered 30% and 50% sweet for our drinks and it was extremely sweet. We had to add water to our drinks to make it drinkable. I'm not sure if the workers are just sloppy and add more sugar without looking at what was actually ordered? I got the roasted milk tea and it barely had any tea flavor. Was just really sweet and the flavor was very flat. Definitely one of the lower quality boba place I've been to; probably won't be back. read more

I think that Happy Lemon is one of the best tea shops ever, especially their salted cheese! This location is a nice one, it's always nice and air-conditioned inside and their service is very quick: it doesn't take long for us to get our drinks. I love this Happy Lemon location because of its consistency in quality. Today was a fairly disappointing experience for me and I realize that perhaps the consistency depends on the time I visit. I usually visit it in the evening or noon time, but today I went in the late afternoon. I ordered ahead and the whole pick up experience was smooth. The disappoinment came in once I saw the drink wasn't filled up, then stirred up the jam in the bottom and realized how much ice it has despite asking for 50% ice. Lemon yakult w/ aloe and boba is my go-to order, right after my #1 order of the lemon slushy. I love anything with yakult and lemon since I'm a sour type of gal. However, I forgot to adjust my drink and so it came with 100% sugar. Faaaar too sweet for my liking. Oops!! The service was alright. My favorite Happy Lemon location! Their drinks and texture of their boba are pretty consistent with how they're made. The drinks are also served pretty quickly, despite their large menu. Thankful for a Happy lemon closer to home. Also did I mention that unlike other Happy lemon stores with a never ending queue, this one is pretty chill. I have only had 1-2 people ahead of me and I really appreciate the low wait time. Also they are super fast and make the drinks in less than 5 mins. Probably that explains the shorter lines. The quality of the drinks is good and you can customize the sugar and ice level per your need. Lychee jelly is great but Boba was a tad chewy. Love this place! I always get the Green Tea with Salted Cheese - def an og!! I use to get this drink everyday in high school when happy lemon first opened near my house. I use to mix the drink but I really recommend sipping it to taste the sea cream. Mango Matcha Smoothie - Depending on the workers, this drink is either a hit or miss. Haven't been here in a while because the parking lot is so crazy most days, but I was taking my nieces and nephew out for the day and figured I'd take them to get a treat. Not sure how they got the orders so wrong because there was no one else in the shop when we got there. I ordered 5 boba milk teas with 50% ice and 75% sugar for the kids and 1 mango green tea with 50% ice and 50% sugar. Luckily, the kids were more happy to hang out and didn't realize that the drinks were messed up. It was me that noticed that my drink was way too sweet that I looked and the labels on on the drinks. To top it off, I didn't order a large, but they were all large sizes (up-charge) Very disappointed that even though we were the only customers in the shop, the orders weren't made correctly. I ordered the milk tea oreo tiramisu salted cheese drink w/boba and WOW. At first, I was nervous, thinking it would be way too sweet, but it was perfect! The flavors were light & the drink did not feel heavy at all. The oreos were just right, and I loved the tiramisu salted cheese. One of the best milk tea drinks I've ever had! As soon as you walk in & they hear the bell, with or without eye contact, you always get a warm welcome greeting & also from hen your waiting for the cashier to take your order.
