We started at 3 stars since it was clean and we were quick to be seated. We boosted it up to a four-star because of the efficient service. We went up to five because the food was piping hot and delicious! And it's also very budget friendly.!!!!!!!!!!!

August 12, 2019 Monday - 7 AM for breakfast One Adult Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 4 star Service - 4 star Background - One of the few breakfast places I could find via Yelp that was near my hotel. Atmosphere - Looks like they recently replaced the carpets. I think some of the chair at the tables could have been replaced, they are pretty banged up. Otherwise the place was clean for my early morning visit. Food Drink - Black coffee, and I received a carafe of coffee too. No waiting on my waitress for more. Breakfast - Biscuits and gravy is one of my favorite things for breakfast. Bonus points for the sausage patties, which made sandwiches with the biscuits. The hash browns were a letdown for me. I would have liked them a little more on the crispy side. Service - Seated promptly by my waitress. The place was empty other than two regulars sitting together. I heard a few takeout orders placed while there. Another takeout order was being placed while I was trying to settle my bill with the hostess. Future - Probably be back.

I was a little skeptical about trying Village Inn for my first time, but it was actually an OK experience. We dined late night (11pm) and the joint was actually pretty busy! It seemed like it was full of high schoolers dining after their spring formal so that added to the lively atmosphere in there. Nice staff, clean tables, and breakfast at 11pm..why not? I will stay the service was little slow before we put our order in, but the food came out VERY quickly. We decided to try the chicken fried steak and it did not disappoint. Perfect crunch, yummy gravy, and not too salty! I was sure one of those things were going to be screwed up so they proved me wrong. Your average diner experience.

The strawberry and banana French toast. Yum!

Great service and you can see some updates they have done. Fresh paint on the entryway walls and pillars to name a few.

Had a pretty fantastic experience here for Saturday brunch recently. They do require reservations…read morein advance, which puts a $40 hold on your card. They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.

May 25th, 2026 Food:…read moreWaited a whole hour for an easy order... which was a mini charcuterie board with a plate of avocado toast... when it was served... it looked pretty and at first I didnt mind about the long wait, but I was disappointed because it tasted like it was made an hour ago but was barely being served to me a whole hour later.. so yeah.. not worth it and now I do mind.. a soggy toast isn't on my list.. Ambiance: It was a nice regular refreshing bar/brunch spot. But safety was a HUGE issue which is where I'll get to my point of this low rating. Service: Is negative zero a thing? That goes to the owner... the 1 star is for the decent service my server attended towards me. In unfortunate events it's not the servers fault.. but overall with the owner coming out, couldnt be anymore careless.. The Cause: Either the owner or a staff employee whomever that is responsible for setting up the patio umbrellas, and I mean those large heavy metal patio umbrellas, well, they failed to lock the pole of the umbrella and unfortunately the umbrella lifted and blew away and had hit a family in the face that were dining there also; instant noticeable bruising to the face... I was only a table away from them.. it could have been me too. I am disappointed in the lack of care in general that surrounded the scene. Little 5 ft me... was the only one that came to help while everyone else sat around and minded their own business... it took a long while until one of the staff noticed to help and then the owner came out and awkwardly said a one word-sorry and dipped... didnt come back to offer any hospitality, non-genuine and non-apologetic... it made me lose my appetite. They had the audacity to still charge the family their meal... but I had to tell these really nice folks to make sure they get comped back. It was sickening to me on how careless they were treated. I would never come back! I mean an exaggerating long wait, cold soggy food and careless hospitality from the owner himself. That's three major strikes. P.s. That same wknd.. the news showed up about a South Carolina woman that was struck by a patio umbrella and died on site... that says alot about lacking safety. Yes, search it up. It's real news.. Hope this help improves the business alertness. P.p.s. And although I was disappointed at this dining-bar overall... I still tipped my server a good $20 as the situation was out of their control, my server was still attentive towards me. They all just need social common courtesy in empathy and hospitality. But anyways, my lunch ended with bittersweetness with the family that got struck, they comped my whole meal for genuinely being the only one that was concerned for them. The only service I'm grateful for was that.

This was awesome! Cool concept of late night brunch. They have a great selection of breakfast…read morecocktails, boozy froyo, coffee, and plenty of drinks. The picture of the large mimosa on the menu was misleading, because when I got it, it truly was a large mimosa!! Great portion sizes. The brunchie punch was sweet and full of fresh strawberries- yum! I'm obsessed with their brunch menu, and love that anything can be made gluten free or vegan. This is so hard to find!!! The gluten free biscuits and gravy was the best. The gluten free cinnamon roll was sweet and rich. I loved the place. They had really cute seating areas and fun photo opportunities. They also had a cute robot that sang when it delivered items. The staff was really nice and helpful since it was our first time here. It wasn't particularly clean, but the vibes made up for it.

We stopped into the Brunch Box for a little family lunch…read more We ended up sharing everything but my husband and I got the loaded tots with a cinnamon roll and my daughter got the breakfast burrito as a kids meal for our food. The loaded tots were okay but I didn't feel like everything was evenly spread for good consistent bites. I also found it odd that they sent the sour cream out in packs versus placing it on the tots themselves. The cinnamon roll was very tasty. We all enjoyed it! The breakfast burrito was good but ended up tasting pretty salty. The delivery robot was definitely a highlight of the visit. My daughter thought it was amazing! After our meal, my husband and I ended up sharing a boozy flight and my daughter chose orange. Overall, a really fun environment and a cute little stop.

WOW! We went twice in three days because it was that good…read more The food is fresh, delicious, and packed with healthy options. The value is great too. I was pleasantly surprised that a waffle comes included with the skillets, and even more surprised that it's a house-made protein waffle. Such a nice touch! The coffee was just as impressive as the food. They have a huge variety of flavors and customization options. Their lattes are on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and the coffee itself is smooth. The cold foam is fantastic. I also appreciate that all drinks come in to-go cups. As a slow coffee drinker, I love being able to take my coffee with me when I'm ready to leave. The atmosphere is great as well, especially the patio. Our first visit was during a busier time, and while our server was incredibly friendly, the patio didn't get checked on very often beyond ordering and food delivery. When we came back a few days later and sat inside, the service was fantastic. Multiple staff members checked on us throughout our meal, and the experience felt much more attentive. It may have just been a difference between the patio and indoor seating or the level of busyness. Overall, we were impressed enough to come back within three days, which says a lot. Great food, great coffee, great atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend!

The coffee was delicious, but the vanilla lavender tea was not as good, but still Tea, my guest felt it should have been steeped longer. The egg hash with 2 waffles was great, the waffles were exceptionally good. It's a great choice if you find yourself here. One thing to be prepared for tall people... the seat and table height are not great. You'll be crouching down to get food in your mouth before it falls off of your fork. The tables are low, and the seats are too high. As a shorter person I had to crouch and slouch over my food to get it into my mouth. This, sadly would be the one reason I'd not return. Also, This is a different type of restaurant, they're a church restaurant. Odd, but interesting. Either way, great waffles, cool staff!
