Bread and Cheese - need to try it. Really amazing.

Service was excellent. Server and wait staff were efficient, kept checking on us and friendly. Dishes were clear when done and beverages were filled when empty. Ambiance was peaceful, clean, free of debris and relaxing. Food came temperature hot like I like it. Great food presentation, flavors were well balanced and food was scrumptious. As we left the restaurant, chef, maître d' and staff thanked us for our business. Before we left the property, we visited the museum and shops. Brings back memories of movie pictures I have seen. You can purchase day passes to use the swimming pool that has restaurant service, storage areas for changing and to keep your stuff and other amenities you can add.

The Stragione Menu was the best way to enjoy the food & wine! Each course was perfectly paired with wine. The dishes were innovative, fresh, & really delicious. The dining hall is very classy with gold plated silverware, formal settings but with whimsical chandelier. Mercedes our server was attentive, patient, & very informative. We truly enjoyed our dining experience.

We had lunch at Rustic inside Francis Ford Coppola Winery after some wine tasting and viewing of some Coppola film memorabilia (highly recommend checking this out). I made reservations for 1:45 pm but was 40 minutes early. The hostess had no issues seating us immediately and we sat outside to get a view of the Alexander Valley wine region. And though it was a pretty hot day, it wasn't so bad as there was plenty of shading and ice cold water going around. The house-made fries we had as a starter were very good! Hot, crispy, and seasoned with a little rosemary. We then both went with the NY steak which came with crispy potato wedges and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfect and very tender with some chimichurri sauce that gave the flavor a nice kick. The wedges were crispy on the outside but very fluffy on the inside... beautiful balance. Overall this is a great place to check out whether you're with a group of friends or on a date and everything in between. The food was amazing and the staff are to be commended for the outstanding service they provided. Would love to come here again!

Rustic is the restaurant on the Francis Ford Coppola Winery. Spacious, gorgeous restaurant with movie memorabilia adorning the walls. A pizza maker works the oven in the middle of the restaurant. Just outside the patio there's seating for wine tasting either nice views of the winery. We came here for lunch after wandering around looking at the Coppola collection of movie memorabilia and winery grounds - which is gorgeous with a big pool and even a teepee for some shade. The restaurant is Italian but it does bot have a dedicated kid's menu. Their American Wagyu Burger is really adult-sized and the meat wan't super juicy. Mushroom Pizza was thin but somewhat dry and flaky. It wasn't as good ar the one I had at. Doppio Zero in Concord, CA a few months ago which is true Neapolitan style. On the plus side I enjoyed the Sofia Peach Spritzer as a refreshing treat from a hot day chasing my energetic 4-yo son everywhere.

This was my first time to the restaurant although I've been to the winery before. Dominique was a sweetheart. Loved the view from the patio to celebrate our birthday boy! Had the meatballs, French fries and fries zucchini to start all were very good. Split a Caesar salad and ordered the risotto. Would order all of this again! Thanks for making the day special'

We've been to Rustic many times in the past. Always fantastic. Today was exceptional. I had the best Cesar salad on the planet. Ice cold bowl, crisp lettuce, perfect amount of dressing and croutons. Orechette with sausage & broccolini. Could have used a bit more greens. Excellent mushroom side dish. Only downside of entire experience is waiter didn't ask us for dessert or coffee. I usually remember, but didn't. All in all, fabulous. Great service help. Gals were extremely helpful. Can't wait to go back.

We went here for dinner and it was raining but I wish we could have had time to walk around the property. It's so pretty with the large staircase from the parking up to the restaurant Rustic. There is an elevator too. You enter the memorabilia room before getting to the restaurant. So many things to see but we were there right before they closed that area so we didn't have time to walk around. Will have to do that next time. Dinner was delicious and the waitress was superb! She was very attentive and took care of our party well. Didn't blink an eye when we requested separate checks too. Her service made the evening even more special. Will recommend the seafood linguine pasta, salt crust branzino, wild mushroom pizza, Cesar salad, and burrata and bread appetizer.

If you find yourself at the Francis Ford Coppola winery, you can't go wrong with a meal at Rustic! My husband and I came for lunch after a tasting upstairs. We had a reservation that we made online in advance, but it wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon, we probably could have walked in. The room definitely reflects the Rustic name and is reminiscent of an Italian trattoria - though maybe slightly elevated. We were greeted with some salted fried dough and an appetizer stick with an olive, meat, and cheese. We ordered the meatballs to start - these ended up being my favorite bit of the meal! They had beautiful flavors and the red sauce was wonderful! For our mains, we split a Caesar salad and the oyster mushroom & cippolini pizza. The salad was good, but nothing special and not worth the price in my opinion. The pizza was delicious and the truffle creme franche was a welcomed addition. We ended the meal with an affogato and a limoncello. Both were tasty, though the limoncello was over sweet and didn't really taste like lemon.

After a tasting flight outdoors, we fled the heat to an indoor lunch at Rustic. The service was excellent and our waitstaff made great recommendations. The zucchini fries are very good and enough to share. One serving could feed 3-4 as an appetizer. We chose the special of the day, a seasonal risotto, creamy with pops of sweetness from the corn and sweet bell peppers. Accompanied by a crisp glass of Chardonnay, we enjoyed a shared meal and had just enough room for a few bites each of panna cotta to end the meal on a sweet note. Note: Tables fill quickly from reservations, so it helps to call ahead. Also, try to get a window view. The vineyard is beautiful!

Made a reservation at Rustic onlinae with ease for a lazy Friday lunch, ambiance and views inside and out were great. We sat outside and had a bit of shade from the trees which was nice We arrived at 1220 for lunch, was seated promptly and given water to stay hydrated. Our drink order was taken at around 10 minutes after we sat, and as soon as wines arrived at around 1pm, we placed our food order at that time as well, and didn't see any food at our table until 135 which to be honest was kind of ridiculous. We had finished sipping our wine by the time any of our dishes came. We didn't order anything crazy, 5 items: 1 soup of the day, 1 special: mussel and squid bucatini, 1 chicory salad, 1 sausage and pea pizza, 1 carrot risotto. Food itself was pretty good, apart for the Chicory salad, 18 dollars for a pretty small salad. Wine by glass and bottle was of course great value if you order from the ffc range. They also have a full bar I'll come back, but hopefully they speed up their service next time

Yesterday I had lunch here with my husband, our baby girl and a common friend. In general, everything went well! Food is good enough to come back another time. We took some fries, the Luigino Pizza, the steak and the lamb. Everything was pretty good, but the lamb was for sure the best main. The service was good, even though the waiter put some pressure on us keep asking if we wanted other food while we were still eating what we ordered. I tasted one of their Zinfandel and it was good (even though it wasn't my favorite kind of wine). The ambiance is nice and there is enough space for everyone, you're not very close to other tables. I'd like to come back in the summer because they also have a pool.

The view from the patio, amazing!

It was a bit warm but we really enjoyed dining outside this time. We had a friendly and warm server named Guadalupe and she provided everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Thank you! Love the ricotta, the goat cheese, parmesan and herbs. It just doesn't get any better than this. The Domenica's sauce stole the show though. This sauce is magic! Along with our meal, we paired a 2023 Pastori Old Vine Zinfandel. It absolutely complimented this meal. For dessert we went with the Passion Fruit Sorbet with blackberries. We had two things: Prosciutto & Fungi Pizza and Diavola Fish & Chips. Overall, the service was decent. However, the food let us down pretty drastically. First off, the pizza. While the toppings were okay, the prosciutto had _very_ little taste, and the crust was quite tough. The gluten seemed overworked or something. We do make our own pizza dough at home, and while learning, I've run into this before. For the price they're charging, this is really unacceptable. Second, the Fish & Chips. It was advertised as battered cod with shrimp and fried oysters, along with some tempura onion rings. I hadn't had fried oysters in quite a while, so this one caught my attention on the menu. When I got it, I literally thought they'd forgotten to put the fish on it. All of the meats were scattered amongst the homemade-looking fries. Technically, the fries were tasty, if a little cold. There were two tiny pieces of fish, maybe 2.5" long, two shrimp, two fried oysters, and three incredibly thin onion rings. The batter was oily and inconsistent. One piece of fish had batter on it that wasn't even cooked. This is typically caused by oil that isn't at temperature or by overcrowding the pot, which lowers the oil temperature. None of the batter was crunchy, except one of the oysters, which was cooked way more than the rest. The onion rings were floppy, soggy, and, as mentioned, extremely thin. And the batter itself was completely under-seasoned. It really had very little taste at all. Given the small amounts of the ingredients other than fries, calling this meager would be an understatement. The ambiance was groovy enough, though a little loud. You could feel a bit of the building's history, which was cool.

I can see this place, especially the bar inside, being very lively at night. Service: Wonderful service from our server. Since it was our first time, we asked for his opinion whether or not we ordered too much or too little. He helped us tweak some items on our order and it ended up being the perfect amount of food with no leftovers and almost cleaned out plates. Each dish came out almost exactly as we finished the previous dish. Food: -Crudo (MP): 5 pieces topped with pepper and onion -Grilled Vietnamese Steak ($19): about 5 pieces on a skewers. Meat was tender and went perfectly with the sauce. The "not so sticky rice" didn't have much flavor by itself. Had to eat it with the sauce and meat. -Mushroom eggroll ($12): 3 pieces of egg rolls. Loved the duck sauce and truffle hot mustard sauce -Kimchi Noodles ($20) + add chicken ($8): the chicken served was the Pollo A La Brasa which tasted well with the dish. I enjoyed the crunch of water chestnuts. It was a unique dish with fresh noodles. For someone who likes spicy food, this didn't have much kick for me. Would order this again! I decided to get the kimchi noodles based on all the rave reviews, but thought it was only fine and a bit too oily. Perhaps I'm spoiled by Chinese noodle shops that I think do this kind of wide noodle better. I added chicken to the noodles, which is the same chicken from the pollo à la brasa dish, and it was solid. Quite crunchy and blackened but still very tender. My partner got the famed chicken tenders, which were not bad, but he found the ratio of breading to chicken a bit off (too much breading for his taste). I also really liked the fries.

Maybe they allow for walk-ins so I suggest that if you want a later reservation like 7 pm that you try a walk-in instead. It was my husband's 67th birthday, which I indicated on the reservation, and they had a customized menu for him, birthday card, and welcome cocktail of champagne. The service was prompt and very friendly and we started with PEI mussels, served with Costeaux Sourdough Baguette (slightly charred), Poblano Peppers, Roasted Leeks, Heirloom Tomato Broth and Petite Fenne, which was hearty and really delicious ($24). The manager also provided complimentary homemade bread with a black sea salt that you could sprinkle on top, We brought a nice bottle of Robert Young cab and the corkage was $25, which is very reasonable. Husband got the prime Kobe New York steak loin ($63) and was disappointed that it was only half of a normal New York. It came with Brentwood Yellow Corn, Potato Croquette, Perigord Truffle Butter, Bone Marrow and Sauce Bordelaise. He ordered it rare and it was served appropriately. I ordered the bone in Duroc pork loin ($42) served with Yellow Wax Beans, Shishito, Bacon Jam, Parmesan Frico and Jimmy Nardelo Peperonata, which was very tasty. I should have indicated medium rare as it was a little more overcooked than I would like. The accompanying polenta cake and peppers were a delicious compliment. We decided not to have dessert, but they brought us a Snickers dessert for his birthday on the house. It came with Cocoa Tuille, Peanut Powder, Sea Salt and Burnt Caramel and was super yummy. I would definitely go back, highly recommend. The clientele in the restaurant were not super snobby and seemed like locals and regular people out for a good meal.

I will say the snickers style dessert was overwhelmingly sweet and I just couldn't finish it. My one problem with how they list it on the menu is "$20 per course". I didn't like thinking about how a somewhat skimpy salad equals out to $20. I think it sounds a bit better to say it's a $100 experience, which sounds like a better way to explain it. This was a fun experience and I enjoyed most of the items but I would not do this again. I feel some of the courses were a little lack luster and I would rather spend a bit more to do a different experience somewhere else.

Stopped in here for a quick bite and drink after doing some wine tasting in the area. Sat at the…read morebar and our server mentioned it happened to be Happy Hour. Great, let's see the menu. The girls that helped us out were both friendly but we ended up asking for the Happy Hour menu 3 times before we actually got one. We decided to split the Happy Hour Pepperoni pizza bites and Bucatini Amatriciana. The pizza was a good portion, especially for the $8 price tag but the portion size on the pasta was a little small. The pizza and past were both very good but the pork on the pasta was mostly just big chunks of fat. I thought they were pieces of artichoke hearts at first. The best thing about our experience was Jesus. I believe he is the bar manager here. He happened to be standing off to the side of the bar when he heard me ask the bartender a question about the Carajillo Old Fashioned. I like coffee drinks, even though I don't drink coffee, but I find the Carajillo a bit one note. He explained about the layer of flavors in the drink and it convinced me to give it a try. It was indeed good. Then I noticed a bottle of Suze amaro at the end of the bar and I mentioned how I had heard about this Amaro and always wanted to try it. I asked Jesus to come up with a drink using Suze and he ended up making a kind of Suze French 75 that was very interesting. Overall great experience but Jesus was what made it really special.

We are there as a walk-in on a Saturday night. There were many tables available inside and a coupe…read moreoutside. The hostess said we could pick our table and she would follow us with menus, which she did. Water and glasses were delivered, I think by the hostess immediately. Then we waited.... For at least 10 minutes. Then another two people were seated next to us. They were given water and menus and we all waited for a server to come by to ask for our drink order at least and maybe appetizers. After another 10 minutes I got up to ask the nearest employee if there was a waiter assigned to our table. That person happened to be one of the bartenders who was standing near the host table. He said he would take our order. He did not seem happy he would need to do that as it was not his area, but he did. The waiter is the only reason this review gets two stars instead of one star. I would give zero if I could, but the waiter did his best and ended up taking over that whole inside section of the restaurant. By the end of the meal he mentioned a worker had called in sick, which I think must be why nobody had our section? I have to say that the entire meal we watched a few other employees just standing around doing nothing, maybe shuffling silverware around or wiping counters down. Half the time they were just talking between themselves as we look around trying to make eye contact to get a workers attention that we need something. This was especially obvious to us during the twenty minutes we waited for somebody to come take our drink order. These employees were no more than 15 feet from us. So after the waiter took our drink order, he took the drink order for the two people who were seated next to us that had arrived 10 minutes after us. They received their drinks first. Ours' came shortly after. They were just fair. I usually order two drinks, but my margarita was just not even good enough for me to finish so I only ordered one. We ordered a Caesar salad which was fine. And a lasagna. My wife and I were sharing. The lasagna was luke warm with a cold spot in the middle. So it clearly wasn't freshly baked, rather it had been heated up in a microwave, just not enough. It tasted fine, but was nothing to write home about. The restaurant seems very poorly managed with mostly untrained staff. The restaurant won't last long if this is normal. We won't be back. My suggestion would be hire a new manger, completely revamp and retrain all staff with a focus on consistent customer service and food quality. General rules of thumb for great restaurants- 1. Waiter stops by to greet the customer and take a drink order about a minute after being seated and drinks come out within 5 minutes. This was not done. 2. Waiter stops by every 5-7 minimum to check if you need anything like drinks or more food. 3. At Italian restaurant, as food is served ask the customer if they would like fresh ground pepper, grated Parmesan or Romano cheese, or maybe red pepper flakes. 4. After food is placed, the waiter checks in after 2 minutes to ask how everything tastes. If there are complaints the waiter should be eager to address them. After the shift, whatever the problem is should be addressed with the kitchen staff and manager and a plan for how to improve so that this doesn't happen again should be put in place. Do these things and a restaurant is well on its way to being full and profitable.
