I thought the point of these was to hide the blemishes, but here we are

TJ Maxx on Bellflower is the smaller of two stores in Long Beach and typically the more organized location. There's ample parking in the lot shared with the Sports Basement. I always like to start perusing the handbags to the right of the entrance and moseying through skincare and beauty, kitchen, and (my favorite) the stationery and craft section in the back middle. I've returned time and time again because their hardcover book selection is honestly so hard to beat; the two fantasy novels in my pictures were only $12-13 when they retail elsewhere for double that and then some. In fact, I was able to complete the series AND find the spinoff coloring books for my friend who's a huge fan! Continuing through the store, you'll find pet supplies (my rescue dog's favorite, of course) to the left rear, followed by the kids' section - also great for gifting - and other apparel. The first time I came to this store, the associate very nearly sold me on their credit card; I've forgotten her name, but wow, well done :) Happy to come by anytime I'm stuck in traffic on 7th St because you'll always find something fun!

Was next door so stopped by to see if I need anything. Surprisingly, it's a nice and big store...similar set up as Ross (sorry) but nicer and less messier. Well set up and organized. Staff are nice and helpful. Plenty of stuffs and seasonal items too. Big parking lot and clean.

    Someone please clean these up

Omg the bathrooms are filthy. I had to keep holding til I got home. And this isn't my first time heading into the bathrooms here and finding it so filthy. It feels like this gets neglected a lot here the bathrooms.

I rarely shop at stores like TJ Max because it's overwhelming with mostly 1 off items (clothing) and things scattered everywhere. But on a recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised. Relatively clean and organized. Say what...and during the holidays!!! This pleasant surprise and kept me in the store much longer than expected. For the first time in I am not sure how long, I actually browsed the aisles and enjoyed my shopping experience. The store was full of merchandise, some areas overflowing, but the variety kept my interest. And....they had multiples on numerous items in the same area. The store was busy with patrons, but not too bad considering the time of year. Check-out was quick. I really appreciate they had most the registers open.

Came in looking for dog bowl. This TJ Maxx was very bright and clean. All items in its appropriate sections. Same store set up as most TJMax. Right now it is last week of August and SO much Halloween decorations and clothes for babies. Happy shopping

This was my first time shopping at this tjmaxx store. I was amazed by how clean and organized this location was! My local tjmaxx is very messy and unorganized. This store even had the red tag clearance section completely organized. They didn't have much of a selection for holiday decor items or blankets. I liked the store, however they didn't have a lot of product. I left without making a purchase.

Not much of a selection of styles in any sizes. Quality of clothes have deteriorated.

The line grew longer before it was opening time at 7 AM and there was a mom with her kids a few spots behind me, then another mom with her kids knew the first mom and waited in line next to them instead of heading to the back. The manager of the store told the line was only for Pokemon and that people who wanted needohs could go ahead to the back of the store. So the moms with the kids that wanted needohs headed towards the back just for needohs instead of waiting in line like the rest of us for Pokemon cards. We were let in 5 at a time and when it was my turn to go get the Pokemon cards, I was told by the people in the front that the moms that went to get needohs also went to get the first partner series 3 boxes! There was nothing left and I waited within the hour for no reason! I notified the manager of the incident of what transpired but he was like there's nothing I can do! Well look here buddy you could have left the Pokemon cards at customer service like you did in the past so there would be no cutting in lines but nope your store had to implement this stupid policy where anyone could walk into the back to get cards without having to wait in line! Do better at the next Pokemon release day drop or else you're going to have more angry customers at the next drop!

Service was great; they are trying to sell their credit card but I declined and they didn't pursue it which I appreciated. Parking is in a large lot. I frequently encounter Ethan and his female coworker, and the pattern has become impossible for me to ignore: incorrect orders, dismissive interactions, and what feels like selective customer service. I have waited several minutes without being acknowledged while they were socializing with Target employees from other departments. Another professional coworker looked up waiting making drinks and acknowledged me. Meanwhile, I've watched the same Ethan interact with other customers with friendliness, patience, and professionalism. That double standard is what concerns me most. I'm not claiming to know anyone's intentions, but repeated behavior matters. The ongoing microaggressions, lack of acknowledgment, and feeling of being singled out have created an extremely unwelcoming experience. At what point does a repeated pattern stop being a coincidence? I expect equity, accountability, consistency, and basic respect--not preferential treatment, just the SAME treatment everyone else receives. Management should take a serious look at this situation. Customer service should not depend on who you are, what you look like, or whether an employee happens to like you.
