Because when I land, I want to be hydrated, fruit-fed, and surrounded by enough snacks to survive an impromptu hotel zombie apocalypse. Now, I'll admit--I was a tad nervous after reading Yelp reviews warning me this Target was the size of a large broom closet. Spoiler: it IS small. Like, "I sneezed and saw the entire inventory" small. But you know what else it is? Mighty. Efficient. And the unsung MVP of my vacation. Despite being fun-sized, they had every item in my mobile order, down to the last bottle of water and that weird protein bar I pretend to like for health reasons. The drive-up was smoother than TSA PreCheck, and I was in and out faster than you can say "Essentials, not souvenirs." Is this Target the place to go if you're looking for a full-blown housewares spree or to get lost in the throw pillow aisle? No. This Target is for mission-focused snack warriors who just landed, need grapes and granola, and have no patience for wandering. Would I come back? Absolutely. Sugar House Target, you're tiny, you're mighty, and you're now part of my weird travel ritual. See you next trip.

If they are restocking shelves or changing seasonal items, it will definitely not have the items are looking for. One huge issue that I discovered at this Target is that they keep that cheaper, Target brand of distilled water on the top shelf. (I need it for my Venus Fly Trap.) I'm guessing they did this so customers could see the more expensive version of distilled water first and find that getting the Target brand not worth the effort. Another issue is their lighting. The atmosphere is almost dank and dark, making me want to leave the store altogether or not come back at all. However, it seems like they may have updated the lighting recently. The service is always decent, so that makes it worth coming here.

My favorite item being sold here is the watermelon center. The best part of a ripe, juicy watermelon pre-cut and ready to eat. The employees were more than helpful in aiding me to find what I needed. The gentleman at the self-checkout also greeted me and asked me if I found everything I needed. Few other items I was able to purchase here were Fiji water, coconut water, gatorade, orange juice with pulp, strawberry jello, rice pudding, digestion/immunity shots (Suja brand), plastic eating utensils, chocolate, and Sargento triscuit/cheese snack containers. Shopping for such items helps me get through my travels with ease. I'm grateful that Walmart can be so convenient in that way.

I tried for 5 minutes to get it to work and read my card. I even tried to notify an employee and they went back to another employee and kept talking with them. I continued to try for another five minutes trying to insert and swipe. I had more than enough money in my account and there isn't any wear on my card that would prevent it. It did this when my card when brand new too. I have never had this problem at other stores. I ended up having to ask someone in line to pay for me and I would pay them back for the groceries. You guys need to either get tap to pay or update your card readers. I have talked to others and multiple people mention having the same problem with the card readers.

Even though there was not a special sale going on during our visit, it is always a treat to find past season Patagonia items at a discount. The store is clean, well laid out and well stocked, both with past season and current season items. This time we had a jacket we needed repaired, so they accepted it to ship back for repair. Lots of parking is available in their lot.

If you catch it at the wrong time, good luck finding a place to park because the lot is tiny. Inside, the store isn't large, but it packs a punch for what it has. A lot of items are discounted 30% or 40% (or more, depending on the event). Some of the items are samples and/or irregular items, so the discount(s) can be pretty steep. One of the best parts of this is that for someone who is out of town, they will ship your purchase for free. So I always take advantage of that because why pack it in your luggage when they'll do that for you? It's a great outlet with pretty stellar deals and a great selection. 100% worth the stop.

They bring drive-up orders out quickly and make returns simple and fast. The organization of some areas of the store, on the other hand, leaves something to be desired, particularly the shoe section. It can be incredibly difficult to find the size and style you want and they seem to have given up on organizing them, but they're there and somewhat near the display shoe. That being said, I'm willing to overlook that and continue to shop at this Target because of the staff. Thrift, don't support predatory businesses like this. I feel that "Shop Vintage" is exploitative because they seriously jack up the prices of clothing. It's really gross that scalpers are swooping in to the thrift stores and buying up these clothes (for pennies on the dollar) so the people they were intended for can no longer afford them at a reasonable price. Yes, our donation centers have tons of "clothes", but a lot of that's fast-fashion synthetic garbage. It had no intention of longevity, whereas these textiles are valuable, which is exactly why this company continues to snatch these things up to resell at a premium. If you're fine with predatory practices, no one's stopping you from shopping here. I'd personally recommend popping in to thrift stores like the DI, where a vast majority of these clothes were donated in the first place. :( ** Edited to add, per their comment attached to my review: They claim their "clothing is sourced from 'wholesale warehouses' out of state that gather unsold donations." That string of buzzwords sounds nice, but in reality anything they buy was a previously "unsold donation", and them jacking up $5 jeans to a sickening $72 is not limited to state lines. They're up-charging and if you're fine with being scalped, and willing to pay ridiculous prices, then take my review with a grain of salt. This is just my 2¢...donate to thrift stores so people in need can reuse. It is disgraceful that the donation/thrifting cycle has become gentrified.
