I went here for the first time and was so impressed by how kind and welcoming the staff were. You can tell they truly take pride in their work. I originally thought they sold slices, but that's just a lunchtime option. Honestly, I wasn't disappointed at all to order a whole pizza instead! We got a half cheese / half sausage, mushroom, and olive. It came out hot and ready in under 10 minutes and was served right at our table. The toppings were generous, and we ate almost the entire thing. My son loved picking out a bag of Ruffles to go with his slices, and it was great that they had cold drinks on-site too. Looking around, it was clear that there are a lot of regulars including families. The people who work here clearly care about their customers, which makes for such a great atmosphere. When I tried to tip at the counter, the cashier politely declined and simply asked me to come back again. Since the table was serviced, I left a tip there. Pretty good standard Rochester style pizza. We definitely like the quality and taste of TKs. Trying to run in on a busy night/finding parking can sometimes be challenging. Is it worth it? Definitely. Staff are always friendly and pizza is always fresh and hot. If you do not want to do a full pizza for yourself, they offer other standard pizza shop items as well as slices. Price is fairly similar to other pizza shops in the area, but I feel like the quality is better. TKs is one of our go to pizza places. read more

Well I finally tried what I have been hearing is the best pizza place in Rochester and I can now say I agree. In my opinion Perris is the second best and has been for years until tonight. The dough is made fresh on premise daily and you watch them roll it out in front of you. Definitely greasy (which I am not a fan of) but still the best tasting and freshest ingredients in town. They keep it simple - limited menu and no fancy toppings - the OGs are still there making the pizzas and still is cash only. Best pizza on the east side and my home town go to. Thin crust, generous toppings and friendly service... The owners are always there and know most of their customers by name. The decor is dated and I hope that never changes... there's a comfort factor in familiarity. I love to stop in for a a slice at lunch or order a pie and eat in with friends on an evening or weekend. They don't take credit or debit cards but not a problem if you know that in advance... and they're generally a little less expensive than their (genuine) competition. But today on my 59th birthday while celebrating my birthday with friends and family the owner screamed at us and told us to get the F out. I was with my 87 year old mother and a few friends and family. This is not a family friendly location any more. I spent over $100 and left a generous tip. No one was drinking or even talking loudly. He reacted to my 2 year old grandson who was not doing anything wrong, his father had taken him out side anytime he acted up. When we are in Fairport and we could just a standard best you can find classic pizza this is our go to place. You can always count on the pizza to come out pipping hot and delicious. They do just a ton of business and the phone is always ringing but unlike pizza joints like this they do have plenty of seating inside and the restaurant is air conditioned. TK's offers lots of topping choices and the crust is hand tossed and homemade and you can expect a thin to medium dough thickness and just lots of fresh topics. The sauce actually has taste the who pizza won't disappoint. Unlike many recently opened pizza joints, this place has stuck to what they know and how much they charger. Bottom line a great pizza where you can get a large pizza and wings for a song. In other words, it won't break the bank like many of these "so called wood fired pizza" places where a pizza and wings is approaching 50- 60 out the door! Two final thoughts - make sure you have cash as one of their secrets to success is cash only although they do have an ATM on premise. The hype is REAL! By far the best pizza I've had on the east side of Rochester. Done nice and crispy with very little pizza flop. Perfect portion of toppings and sauce.
