    Not on the dealership, but the only thing that was bugging me about the car was on the passenger side of the bumper where it meets the top of the car was misaligned and moving. Turns out Acura didn't tighten one of the screws on this bracket at all, you can remove a push pin and pop it up to tighten it real quick. Just sharing in case any other Integra owners have this issue too.

    Not all dealers are the same. I've been coming here since I moved to this side of town a few years ago, to take care of my TL. I've been fortunate to always have great service here starting with Ed & then 2 other service attendants. My first time I just walked in right before closing for an emergency service & Ed was amazingly helpful & friendly. Made me feel comfortable & relaxed. Told me not to worry he would take care of me before he left fue the night. I left my car & was offered a loaner. I have nothing but good things to say about the service at this place, always A+ Make appt if you just want to walk in, drop off & get your car to get serviced but even when I haven't had an appt service never made me wait long to be checked in. They will wash your car if you ask them. It's a dealership so don't expect cheap but you get what you pay for and it's worth it. I've been helped by 2 other gentlemen here & all very polite. Small waiting area but it's comfortable & you can have water & snacks. Take your coupons with you ;)

    This review is from am experience in 2022. I Took my car to get a B12 service and they called me back saying my car has things that need to be done. I was already warned that they might try to upsell by coworkers. When they called they said I needed all these services to be done to my car. (Please look at photo). I was shocked and said no. Reason why is because I just bought my car used a year before it was hard to believe I needed all that. I told them no it was to much money. And the service guy said he recommends it especially since it can mess up my car and that I have a great car with good mileage that I shouldn't take the risk, So I took it to metro Acura and they said it did not need all those services. So to get another opinion I went to Acura Alhambra and just told them to just check for everything including all fluids, break pads to make sure my vehicle doesn't need anything . I did not want to tell them what Thomas acura told me because I wanted to make sure. Sure enough they said everything was good I did not need anything. I than told them what Thomas acura told me and they said they can speak to the mechanic to double check it. Two mechanics came to speak to me and told me nothing is wrong with my car, it doesn't need anything. I showed them what Thomas acura sent me and they were shocked and showed their corkers passing by how they checked all that and it was good. Reason why I am writing this review now is to warn everyone about upsell and get a second option. Now I'm scared to even go in cause what if they mess up something on purpose to get it fixed. My car needs a B12 again and guess what. My car still did not need anything else to be done other than them letting me know I have about 8 Months left with my break pads but they still look good. Thomas acura do better. Don't take advantage of people at these times.

    Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. This is my new go-to shop for any issues involving our family vehicles. Thank you, Hye-Tech Auto Repair, for a very positive experience.

    I opened a Yelp project to try to get my transmission serviced. The dealership wanted to charge me…read more$1300 for this service. Yelp projects are one of the best things I've ever experienced. It's nice to see you can get quotes at the touch of a button on your phone. This morning, I had time off, so I headed in to get my service done. I did not have an appointment and that did not seem to matter. I arrived first thing in the morning at 8 AM and ask if the service could be done. Harry was an exceptional young man, he took me in with no problems, no questions. He said they could do it this morning. I told him I would have to wait. He had no problem with that either. Prior to bring in the car in this morning, as I said, I used a yelp project and had several people reach out and give me quotes. After looking at all the yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try. I am super happy that I did. This place is a hidden gem, excellence, service, quality, and value for what you receive. There are not very many shops where you could feel comfortable and put your trust in them. As I spent time in the lobby, I was able to see customer service on the phone and customer service entering the facility. Every customer that walked in, seem satisfied and was treated with dignity and respect. I highly recommend this place if you have any automotive questions whatsoever.

Brought my car in, went over some paperwork and was told I'd be contacted once the inspection was complete. Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

    I requested a quote through Yelp and my request was sent to multiple auto shops. I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.
