They wasted no time working on my Nissan.

My car had built up air in the brake lines over time some how and all of a sudden the front calipers started applying pressure without me pressing the brakes. I didn't have time to fix the issue to I sent my car into this shop after being recommended by someone off instagram. The service was amazing!!! I got updates and most of all he wasn't scared to ask questions about my car and how my brake system was set up. ( I have a hydro e- brake as well as a upgraded clutch master cylinder) My brake pedal also needed to be adjusted which is what causing pressure being applied to my brakes. Robert got the job done in 1 day. I drove my car back home with a smile on my face. My car was also stored in a safe secure place as well as picked up in a clean environment. Thanks TLC!

They used different bolts and didn't even tighten them down all over the place. This caused the valves to burn up. More harm than good.

Garbage work, $2600 to replace heads. Took almost 2 months, after following up from the original quote of $1300 finally got the truck back. Noticed broken connectors and loose mismatched bolts & nuts everywhere, I told them the motor needs G05 coolant and they still put the wrong coolant in. Engine light came on after a week, they broke a bunch of vacuum lines and the engine started stuttering so I decided it wasn't worth taking it back to get ripped off for more money. After having the truck non opt for a year I decided to rebuild the motor myself during my vacation. Finding all kinds of horrifying things. If you need simple inexpensive things done like a smog or oil change you're probably going to be ok, I personally wouldn't go back due to ethics. If you need minor $50+ or especially major work stay away!!!!

They aren't use to rust in Cali.

My car needed both low beams replaced, an oil change and a tune up. Matt was quick to provide me…read morewith a quote that was reasonable. Scheduling the appointment was easy. Brought my car in, went over some paperwork and was told I'd be contacted once the inspection was complete. Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

I requested a quote through Yelp and my request was sent to multiple auto shops. I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

He was attentive to ask a lot of questions and then said he would get a quote for me the next morning. The next morning came I never got quote, and so I called the company itself. And can you believe when I called the company the person who answered the phone literally said they "have no idea what yelp is!!!" and I said "your business is on yelp and you don't know what yelp is!?" and he said "nope. better you come down here." it was so unbelievable that I drove my butt down there just to get the quote and the person in the front was so not friendly at all and had someone quote my car for a ridiculous price and i would leave my car there for four days on a simple scratch? I will never use this business based on just the business tactics from the beginning without the proper follow through as promised and all the way towards the end. I still don't know how he could say so adamantly and rudely on the phone "I don't know what yelp is" well, I don't know how you even got rated so many stars. I don't even want to put a one. But I'll do it because at least someone didn't reply me very fast when I put out the job request.

Albert handled the work and was professional, quick, and clearly knew what he was doing. I also want to thank the owner, Ron, for giving me a discount -- that was really appreciated. It's always nice to see a business that takes care of its customers. Highly recommend this shop if you want honest service and quality work. I'll definitely be coming back.
