Jamal had fixed his brand-new HP laptop that had been out of commission for two years--something even HP couldn't manage, despite a civil lawsuit. Jamal got it working in under a week. After seeing that, I brought in my own HP computer with some unfamiliar issues. I walked in, handed over the laptop, and within just a few days, Jamal had completely replaced the hard drive and upgraded it with over 200GB of storage--all for just $150. This is a long overdue review and I regret not writing it sooner because they deserve more recognition. First off, Eric (I'm assuming the owner?), was extremely kind and helpful. I went in for a broken laptop touch screen and had already gotten many quotes from other stores. Being a broke college student, I was trying to find a place that I could trust to fix my screen while burdening me the least financially. The other locations quoted me around $800, due to the screen being expensive and the process being complicated. One place quoted me $600 just to replace it to a non-touchscreen. This place quoted me less than $400. They already got me with their kind customer service but on top of that, easy on my wallet too? Amazing. When I went in to repair it, they seemed to be really busy-- getting calls after calls with customers coming in consistently. The place was pretty small but they still made sure I was comfortable while waiting. Because I wasn't in a huge rush to get it fixed, I didn't ask them to fix it ASAP. I wished that would have burdened them a bit less with all the customers they had. I know that ordering the parts and waiting for it to come would have taken a couple days. Still, they managed to call me back sooner than I thought. When I went in to pick it up, Eric told me to check if everything was working well and if there were any issues, he would fix them. There were no issues with anything so I paid and as I was about to leave, he told me that there is a 30-day warranty, so if there were any issues that came up while using, I could come back and they would get it fixed free of charge. Of course, there were no issues :) Overall, I was extremely pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a repair! read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Please listen to the overwhelming consensus in the reviews here. I wish I had checked Yelp before trusting Eric to fix my laptop. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. The screen on my MacBook Air was broken, and I brought it in to be fixed. He ordered a part and installed it - costing me a total of $300. 2 weeks later it broke again while I was traveling. I brought it into the Apple Store to assess what was wrong, just in case it wasn't Eric's fault - and they told me the part itself was faulty. I attempted to contact him numerous times but he completely ghosted me and refused to offer any feedback or recourse. He is extremely dishonest and unethical. Please save your money and go elsewhere. This place is not very honest .I have had bad service here many times before.I have come in here at all times of the week and there is always some customer mad as hell at the bad service.Things I have needed to be fixed here are never really fixed .This is the only reason they have return customers,people are forced to pay more..I recently got ripped off by Eric .He sold me a bad phone that crapped out in 10 days.I returned it to him and he says its not his problem its my neglect that caused the problem.This place is outdated and dirty.Eric threats customers poorly and they have no real respect for others property.Avoid this place!!! I went there a couple of times, talked to Eric who seemed friendly at first. I was having some issues with my laptop. He didn't really helped fix the issue, since he is useless as far as fixing electronics goes, but he did managed to make the problem worst by taking out the battery of the computer, and then when he put it back on, the computer wouldn't start. I got upset with him, and the moron just walked away trying to hide away and saying it wasn't his fault...he also overcharges for components that are cheap and breakdown very quickly. I haven't had a chance to update my review. At first I was excited I had thought I found an honest location. They charged me and I went back 2 weeks later supposedly I needed the motherboard. Took it to a computer tech in Inglewood and they just changed the settings and checked the motherboard everything was fine. Do not come here. They are dishonest. Eric bears around the Bush and tell you that a hard reset is the only way to fix things. That is the easy way to fix things. A real technician goes in and saves everything and fixes it. I recommend a place on century and walnut. They charge less and they are experts. I had him come out and install my router. Something simple you'd think. I didn't bother to read the reviews, I just went to this place and the service is TERRIBLE! the owner doesn't have people skills at all, didn't answer my questions, just wanted me to drop off my computer and charge me 100 dollars for a 20 dollar software upgrade. I am computer savvy and I just wanted to see if he can sell me a copy of the upgrade, but instead he wanted to install things that I didn't request. First and last time I will stop to do any business what so ever. Please don't bother going, find other place to take your computer... very surprise this guy is still in business. read more

I will warn you! do not come here to get anything fix.. I thought I was going to a nice location around my neighborhood to fix a simple 7 beeping sound coming from my computer. I was charged $20.00 dollars for a dionastic feedback right on the spot without even knowing what was wrong. I told him how important I must have my computer that day and if they can fix.. I get a call back after dropping it off and I was told it was the mother board and it was $200 and I must put $80 down for them to start fixing. I payed all in full and still I don't have my computer and it has been 2 weeks. He will tell you that he will call you but never follows up.. Reminder keep your receipt number because he always loses it and never remember who you are. Even after you just dropped all that money and complained for the past few days.. I thought he should know me by now. This is my last time doing business here. His people manners is horrible.. He will bullshit you with the crooked tech talk then squander you. Terrible! Owner has very BAD attitude! I did not even leave my computer there....I had a problem with my PC (no picture on the monitor). I tried the basic stuff like using a different monitor, new video card, new power source, etc. & still could not get it to work...I decided to take it to this place (only because its walking distance from my house) ....The minute I put my PC on the work-table he starts giving me hell about why the side cover has been taken off. I said because I recently changed a power supply & a video card...He says he does not want to deal with diagnosis after someone has poked around inside..He just assumes things...I expained to him that I did nothing that would make his job any harder (if anything easier).... Does this dude really think that what he does is so difficult? He said to leave the PC & he would take a look at it in a couple of days...I thought to myself, & decided to go to someone else!
