What had happened was that I had bought a new laptop from LG (~9 months ago) and its' performance was just so weirdly slow from the time I brought it home. In particular, the proxy setting just would not turn off no matter how many times I disabled it. Plus, the PC performance was horrifically slow. Not a good sign and I did a lot of malware scans with no luck on finding any issue. Finally, I got fed up and, after a bit of research, I found Allstate. The guy at the repair shop was super nice and attentive to my observations. The end result was excellent - all the issues were fixed (proxy and computer speed) and my PC is as it should be - fast and efficient and it has been 3 months of excellent performance. Repair price was okay too. Total recommend.

I looked up local PC Repair spots and Allstates Computers had a very high rating and more importantly was actually open on the weekend unlike most of the other independent PC repair places I saw online. I came in without an appointment and John got right to work on helping me diagnose my problem. He tried a few tools to get a sense of what the problem could be, talked me through the various levels of repair that we could go down, and sent me home with an initial fix that hopefully solves it without me having to buy a whole new rig. All around great service and appreciate him taking the extra time to get me an answer then and there vs just having me drop it off and then having to wait for a response. If I do end up needing to upgrade to a new system, John said he also does custom PC assembly so know where I'll be going when the time comes.

Brad was great and got under the house to deal with the cable run and we worked as a team for the rest. I drilled the holes to pass cable thru and we spotted each other on the ladder and such. It was like having a super qualified IT buddy come over and lend a hand. Took right around two hours. I know it was a little outside of his usual projects that are more computer oriented but this was a superior option for me versus the quotes I got from companies more focused on cabling and networking. Full disclosure, I didn't end up hiring him because the work I needed to have done was more suited for an electrician, and he told me as much. Even though my project was not at all a good fit, he went room to room with me making suggestions for my wifi network and offering his best guidance as to how I could get everything up to speed once the wiring is in place (across the attic, through a few walls, etc). Brad knows how stuff works and is an awesome resource. I'll happily hire him when I need pure IT or security system help.

Well this is not I generally liked to start a new year with but since I am personally living upon Lunar calendar my new year is still up ahead so I can left all none pleasant experience behind! AVOID this place for all its worth! Eric is but a covidiot, a dissident who despised wearing a mask he's made me waiting in cramped premise for more then 1,5 hours. I've made a hint to him about pandemics and a consequences he paid no heed to it saying its enough for him the distance we kept already. What a negligence! He disregards any social distancing of a sort walking through you like you are not existing ghost. Obviously he but is a trumpist hates Democracy! He sells outdated cell phone plans as those IMHO of Ultra mobile upon the their assistant own words that plan has sat upon a shelf too long so they were unable to activate within 24 hours. Why all this mess? In Target you can get H2O wireless plan for 1 buck a piece all big deal. Shame Eric learn to respect other people's business this is the way we're living in America in California! read more

I find this place thru recommendation and visit the place very knowledgable and fair service you get from Gige or Fry's very expensive but this people they have membership program and my computer is insure that is not cost me more than $50.00 after the first time which none of these company that I mentioned they offer that. They installed antivirus for free and they charge me only $20.00 per year for Norton internet security. they explain all me question and there is place that you sit down and try your computer before you take it home unlike BestBuy and Fry's that is no place to sit and ask tech a question. The place is busy and lots of people come and go and you see all were comfortable and that gave me relax that I am in right place. I hope that you guys read this note try it for yourself and save some money like I did. read more

This guy is a real asshole. He provides good service, but has zero people skills and is rude and condescending to anyone he deems his "inferiors". Especially people of color. His assistant is equally rude. And the way he always says "God bless you" to customers is like nails on a chalkboard. It's nothing but a sales pitch to him. Hey Eric, stop taking God's name in vain. Shortly after they agreed to leave it a few more days to get it fixed. We let an additional day pass by since we had not heard or received confirmation it was ready ..... then still nothing and upon arrival- ITS NOT WORKING :( so then the owner is getting upset and says that my fam member should have KNOWN what was wrong with the tablet. LIKE HELLOOO, you are the professional sir. You were informed prior to leaving the tablet. He told my fam member how it would cost about $600 and my fam member explained to him had he known then he wouldn't have left it in the 1st place. He kept it for about a month with no solution to it. It was brought back home and still not working. Time and money wasted with a bad experience. One thing about working in professional settings and owning businesses if s that you must have good customer service and there was also NO REASON to yell out anything about RACES. He was completely in the wrong and i feel so bad for referring anyone there. ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN GOING NOR SENDING ANYONE THERE. Sir, please be more respectful.
