Tammy does an exceptional job, and she's hard to book for a reason. I've made my way through a lot of SF nail salons, and she's by far the best I've found. Her nail studio is located within a building that also hosts aestheticians and wax pros. It's an intimate space, and you don't feel like you're on display for the world while having your feet scrubbed (major plus). She's really helpful when it comes to selecting from her wide array of high-quality polishes. She's clearly focused on customers' nail health. She uses many non-toxic products. Every tool she uses is perfectly clean. My nails are FLAWLESS every time. She is very thorough in every way and makes sure your nails are perfect. The only other time I've had such a meticulous nail experience was at a high end nail salon in Hong Kong. read more

Just got my first pedicure with Tammy and am joining the chorus of previous reviewers as a fan. Her space on the second floor of a building on Fillmore St is cozy and quiet, a room with just you and her (and some complimentary tea/water/sangria, pillows, magazines, music...) Tammy is clearly experienced at her craft: thorough, detailed, and meticulous. My pedicure was unhurried and she made my 15-minute massage add-on a real delight. A nice selection of colors from Opi, Essie, Spa Ritual, Zoya, and I even spied a bottle or two of Chanel in the mix. Since it's just you and her - this is not a salon! - the whole experience is relaxing and calm. Tammy is great if you want to chat with her or just sit back quietly and rest - she's friendly both ways. What a treat. A while back I gave up getting manicures and pedicures at nail chop shops: I'd rather get fewer but better treatments because you really do get what you pay for. I've been coming to Tammy for manicures and pedicures for a few years now, so it's about time I post a review. Though, it might make it hard for me to get an appointment! She works wonders on my hands and feet in a small private space, which I prefer rather than out in the open where everybody can see the sorry state of my appendages. Inevitably, friends and acquaintances will comment on my nails after Tammy has performed her magic on them. I can go almost 4 weeks between pedicures. I don't have a dishwasher, so a color change is usually needed on my hands after a little more than week depending how careful I am. Tammy is meticulous, friendly and very accommodating. I usually bring my own polish, but when I haven't, Tammy always recommended colors that have nicely complemented my skin tone. Yeah, you can find cheaper prices, but everything she uses is clean/sterile and she does such fantastic work. It's a wonderful way to treat yourself. read more

Thanks to Yelp, I found Tammy, woohooo! I was a loyal client of hers at Spa Radiance but lost touch and was always wondering where she was. Then one day I saw a review for her and I was ecstatic. Saw Tammy today after 3 years and it was so wonderful to see her again. Her pedicures and manicures are the best ever, she is so skilled and talented and what a beautiful person inside and out. Her space is awesome, just perfect and I love the privacy. I do not like going to the nail places where everyone is jammed in and it is loud and not clean. Tammy runs a flawless practice where everything is sterile, clean and oh so spectacular. I already have my next appointment booked and am going for a milk pedicure. Tnails is a tiny spot (like a closet space), with only enough space for Tammy and the client. Also it's by appointment only, so during the hour long nail treatment, one can be sure that Tammy devotes all her attention to your treatment without feeling rushed. She's a sweetheart to chat with too. Nice selection of OPI, Zoya, Sparitual, and Essie colors. Best thing is Tammy sanitizes her tools using the UV machine. Minus one star because polish wasn't the longest lasting I've had in comparison to other spa I went to . It's pricey ($25 for a regular mani, soaking in water, trimming, filing, and a short massage), but the experience is by far the most relaxing. Instead of going there regularly, I would go to Tnails as a special treat. read more

I was a little hesitant to have my nails done in a setting where it would be just the two of us, but honestly it was one of the most relaxing and best pedicures I have ever received. She was thoughtful and skilled. Tammy also made sure to ask if I had any special preferences or concerns before the pedicure. There was lovely music playing and a glass of sangria! Tammy is wonderful. I have never had a mani/pedi as relaxing, precise and enjoyable as the ones that she gives. As soon as I sit down, I feel relaxed and pampered. Her space is absolutely the cutest! It is cozy and chic with groovy wallpaper, a little window, a good and current magazine selection and cushy pillow. She always offers me the cocktail of the day or water, which is an added treat. Her actual treatments are beyond comparison. She is gentle and thorough. She really takes the time to make sure each nail is taken care of and has gone out of her way to make sure that I am happy with her work. I've been wanting to go here for a few years now and was excited that Tammy added a second manicurist. My actual experience at the salon was wonderful (amazing foot massage, kind manicurist, nice space, relaxing) --it lasted 2.5 hrs (hot milk mani/pedi with additional 30 min massage). I was happy to pay the hefty $120 tab until I saw that all 10 of my fingernails had peeling polish within 24 hours, and even my pedicure chipped within the week (which never happens). A manicure or pedicure by Tammy is simply a wonderful experience with wonderful results. Her small space is perfectly designed for comfort and tranquility. She offers delicious drinks (wine, cocktails, tea!) and is a joy to be around. The pedicure is skillfully done and lasts a very long time. Tammy is my go to gal for pedicures! She is meticulous and her pedicures last a long time. She has a great selection of colors and always makes you feel like you are visiting with a good friend. Her booth is small but cozy and comfy. She offers you a drink and has a nice selection of magazines if you'd rather read than chat. Her space is in the same place where Habit is at. You can park off street(2 hour limit), meter(30 minutes) or in the garage around the corner for $2 an hour. read more

I have been getting my nails done by Tammy for 8 years and she is amazing! She just opened a great spot of her own on Fillmore and Greenwich and I went there for the first time today. So cute. I highly recommend Tammy. She uses all natural/chemical free products and my pedicure lasts for at least three weeks and looks great. Worth every penny! read more
