She mixed a couple of shades together to make something natural and pink for me, and I love how the color turned out. This is not the place for you if you're particular about cleanliness and ambiance. It's not a spa-like experience, and the space is quite small so if you're getting your hands done you are somewhat close to the feet of the people getting pedicures done. I didn't really mind this until another customer asked for callous removal, but there's nothing they can really do about it. I think the price is really reasonable (especially for the area). I didn't have anything on my nails and got a full set of gel x for $65 (before tip). I asked about chrome and was told it is $15 extra, but I decided not to get it on this mani. All in all, I think this is a great place to get your nails done if you care more about the results than the process. read more

Called about 30 min ahead for a quick pedicure appointment and was pleasantly surprised with my experience! When I arrived, I was told to pick a nail color off the wall and sit in one of the pedicure chairs. I liked how the chairs massage your head, neck, back and butt. The pedicure treatment was very nice and included a typical cleaning, calve massage, a hot stone and heel scrubbing. I was done in about 40 minutes and the painting happened at the last 10. Solid place in the Marina for pedicures and hard gel manicures. The vibe is your typical, homey, mom and pop type of place - everyone makes you feel very welcomed and ensures you're comfortable throughout your appointment. Their pedicure chairs are the best and they also massage your bum which I found pleasantly nice (never seen that before!). They have lots of trendy opi colors which I really appreciate. The shape and length is everything I asked for and my nail artist always made sure with me that each stage was to my liking before moving on. She was also pretty fast. Some places I been to my back ends up hurting from sitting so long but this place was decently fast :) I did dock a star though because the nails started to lift around the 2 week mark. I have attached a picture of what the nails look like as of today (3/26. Got these at 3/11). A bit annoying to already have hair get stuck in them already. Other places have lasted me 3 before any lift, BUT my back be breakin at those places. Overall, I still love the nails and hope that they will last me another 2 weeks! Price: Since I paid in cash and it's been 2 weeks, my memory is a bit hazy, but I believe I paid around $68 (they were originally around $75 but I got a cash discount). Our appointment was for Saturday at 11am. We came about 10 minutes earlier and the store was packed. Our appointment was for 2 regular polish pedis and 1 gel mani, but everything was well done in a short time. The salon has nice working stations. At one point all of the stations were occupied but by 12pm, the place slowed down a bit. The overall wait time was decent and expected since it was pretty packed, but nothing that was too long. - Youthful Pedicure: My lady was named Tiffany and she was the sweetest lady. She was very gentle yet thorough. 10/10 would recommend her. As for the service, I think it was well worth the buck--from the lemon/orange slices to the sugar scrub to the leg mask to the hot stone massage. I've been to many salons for pedicures, but never stuck with one, but I think I found my new go-to place! - Refresh Pedicure: It was my sister's first time getting a pedi, so she wanted something basic. Her lady was named Tram and she liked her. My sister is super ticklish, so Tram didn't scrub the bottom of her feet as much, which she was thankful for lol. Overall, a good experience that she enjoyed. - Refresh Gel Manicure: Also my sister's first time getting a mani. The service was quick, nice, and her lady did a good job on her nails. Lovely and sweet group of ladies! I went into their nail salon today because I looked at the reviews and just felt like why not give them a chance?! I always go into a salon with an open mind. My appointment was at 10 am and I wanted a dip manicure and a regular pedicure. The pedicure turned out wonderful and I love it, but my dip nails didn't even last a full 24 hours! I am super disappointed because I paid an extra $20 for the design that I wanted and in less than 4 hours the designs already started to peel. I went to take a shower and the clear coat was already peeling by the time I got out of the shower. I am super frustrated, but will try and give them a call to see if they can fix my nails! Maybe they didn't cure enough before I left the salon? Hoping that they can fix my nails! UPDATE: They were able to fix my nails the same day, but it was a bit frustrating having to go back to the salon in the same day. Today, my thumb ended up cracking and I can see that it is already beginning to lift off my nail. In my opinion, I would go back to this salon for their pedicures, but I wouldn't go to this salon for dip nails! read more

I got my nails done here less than two weeks ago. I got a Gel X extension full set, and while I appreciated the good service and the shape of the nails, I have to admit I am a bit disappointed with the quality of this set. I have already had 4 nails fall off or break off without me doing anything strenuous to cause this reaction, and am disappointed how short of a time this set lasted. The rest of my nails feel very delicate, like they will also break off if I place any force onto them. Normally, my Gel X full sets will last me 3-4 weeks, which is why I find the price to normally be worth it, but less than two weeks is a bit too short of a time for me. Since zero stars cannot be given, I have to give one star. First of all, the pedicure they do is terrible. I also couldn't understand the logic of the ridiculous 10-second foot massage. I told the pedicure technician to cut my nails as short as possible, but he didn't. Finally, when I took my other foot out of the water, where he had not cut any nails yet, and compared we both saw that there was almost no difference. After I showed this to him, I had to warn him two more times and the third time he could only shorten my nails. Another request I had was to file my nails flat and square. The toenails are flattened to prevent the shoes from hitting the front, this is already a rule. If you look at the photo you will see that the technician cut the roundest nails I have ever seen in my life, he even cut the edges, now I will have to wait for those edges to grow first. But apart from all that, I was yelled at in a nail salon, which is the first time I've ever experienced this in my life. The owner, whose name I realized was Tiffany, told me to choose a nail polish color when I first entered the store on my appointment time. So I found one color close to the color I was looking for, put it aside, and continued searching for the color I was really looking for. I previously liked that nail color at another manicurist and took a photo of it. I decided to look at the pictures on my phone to remember the code and name of the nail polish I was looking for. Seeing me looking at my phone, Tiffany started shouting, "hey, excuse me, we are ready, sit down here" among all the customers and employees, pointing to a seat. I have never been treated this ugly and yelled at in a shop in my life. I was literally shocked. When I gathered myself together, I could say that I was looking at the photos to find the color I was really looking for. She said to me, "But you found the color and put it aside and then you started looking at your phone." I made another explanation to her, although I didn't have to, and said: This is not the actual color I am looking for, I am looking for the code of the actual color in the photos I took on my phone. What I don't understand is that I can be a customer looking at their phone, does that give her the right to shout? I was so surprised that I didn't know how to react. I sat down and had a disgusting experience. Both the pedicure they provide and the way they treat customers are terrible. During my pedicure I kept looking at the pictures on my phone and finally found the color and told them, I told her that her reaction wasn't pleasant and instead of an apology she repeated the same words as I was looking at my phone!
