To Share on Condado Avenue in San Juan is a great place to go for delicious food and drinks in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. I really like their menu and the way that everything is prepared. The staff here is very friendly and makes sure that you have the best meal. Well worth it.

Free bread to start. I think these were some sort of arepas? Very different than the corn arepas I'm familiar with, but good

This was our best meal in San Juan! I love the small plate format because it allows you to try a lot of different dishes. The dishes all offered a fun spin on Spanish or Puerto Rican cuisine. Highlights were the croquettes (both the pernil and cod) as well as the dumplings. The chorizo board was also a fun and unique idea. Neither of us cared much for the desert, but were very impressed with everything else, including the prices! This restaurant itself has a nice vibe, even though it was completely empty for almost the entirety of our meal. I really hope more people start coming to this restaurant. It is a little off the beaten path from the main street of Condado, but it's definitely worth the extra 2 extra block walk!

If you're a lover of Italian small plates with distinctive flair and/or a curated wine list filled…read morewith exotic grapes and niche finds, you should definitely give El Vino Crudo a try. It's a cozy little restaurant that was perfect for our recent short stay in Old San Juan. I was impressed with the wine list, which featured sparkling, white, orange, rose, and red options by the glass and of course a more extensive list of bottles. I opted for two different sparkling options, a Pineau d'Aunis (rose) from the Loire Valley (strawberry notes) and a Verdeca (white) from Puglia (melon, white flowers). I drink a lot of wine and have never heard of these grapes at all, so they were fun to check out and delicious to boot. We also tried a number of different bites. They were all good, but these were the most memorable: Apio gnocchi - delightfully pillowy and nutty Dulce de papaya and prosciutto - lightly sweet and savory all at once. This might be an even better version of the more popular prosciutto and melon dish. Partamra olive oil cake - so lemony and moist Beet ice cream - this was wild! For sure my first time trying beet ice cream. It was barely sweet and had a very thick, almost custard-like texture. Special shout out to the staff, who were all so nice and chill and knowledgeable.

I had an awesome palate experience. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. We tried…read morealmost all the entrees
