The service was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The food? Unreal. The portions were enormous. There was no way we could come close to finishing everything, and every bite was excellent. But the real star of the night was the PB&J Jalapeño Burger. I know it sounds unusual, but trust me... it may have been the best burger I've ever eaten. The combination of sweet, savory, spicy, and smoky flavors was unforgettable. I'll be thinking about that burger for a long time. If you're anywhere near the Indianapolis or Greenwood area, this place is absolutely worth seeking out. Hidden location, beautiful golf course setting, fantastic service, huge portions, and one of the best burgers I've ever had. We'll definitely be back.

As soon as you walk in you know you're in for a treat! The contemporary decor is pleasing. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our group of five ordered a variety of entrees and all were satisfied with their choices. I had a perfectly prepared filet mignon with baked potato and salad. We patiently waited for bread that never arrived. My meal arrived before I finished my salad. We felt rushed to pay our bill and leave even though there was no one waiting for a table. Still a solid 4 stars for a delicious meal.

I had a very well balanced Aviation, and took sips of my friends' brambles and old fashioneds. Perfect pre-meal sippers all around. We ordered the gamut, from the pickled beets to the pub burgers. Pretty much everything from the middle "shared plate and veggie" section. My wife and I split a super rich and tasty lamb bolognese. Again, the star of the show was the service and welcoming environment. It's just nice that they also performed on a stage of superbly prepared edibles. Would go again with a big group and maybe get a sitter so we're not leaving a trail of american cheese bits leaving an extra large tip to offset the accidental middle American Hansel and Gretel vibe.

We shared the whipped Ricotta appetizer with a honey jelly center and grilled bread. Delish! I ordered the Rev salad, a perfect blend of spinach and arugula laced with red onion, pecans, and feta cheese and dressed with strawberry vinaigrette. My crab cake bruschetta was delicious - the dots of lemon curd were a perfect accompaniment and the crab meat generously portioned. No leftovers this time, I ate it all, and it was perfectly portioned. Reservations recommended. Five stars from all of us!

I laughed though because the bar was playing The Muppet Show on the TV. lol The dinner menu is expensive so I went for brunch. (I believe their brunch is from 10am-2pm on Saturday and Sunday.) I ordered brisket hash (crispy potatoes, cheddar cheese, braised brisket, chimichurri, eggs, toast) and it was outstanding, although expensive at $24. My server was wonderful - just a delightful soul. The customers at the table next to me ordered chicken and waffles and their food looked amazing.

The main floor dining like a lunch vibe, but it turned out to be a cozy choice. For appetizers, we started with the cornbread after our focaccia was unfortunately not the best. Seemed to be over-proofed. The cornbread was absolutely phenomenal and a must-have! A special shoutout to our waitress, Arya, who noticed our disappointment with the focaccia and generously brought us the cornbread on the house. That kind of service is truly memorable! I also had the beets and peaches salad, which was refreshing but a tad overdressed. Still, I couldn't resist finishing the entire dish. For my main course, I ordered the lasagna, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and instead complemented by mushrooms and pesto, and surprisingly light on the stomach. My husband chose the filet and rated it an 8/10, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The only downside was the atmosphere; coming from Chicago, we expected a more bustling vibe on a Thursday night. It seems Indianapolis is a bit quieter during the week. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience, and hats off to Arya for her exceptional service!

The menu has plenty of options, but we had to go for their signature tenderloin. We were excited to dig in. They offered an extra bun plus lettuce and tomato for an additional charge. If you're planning to split the sandwich, I highly recommend getting that second bun -- we were able to make two full sandwiches out of it. Just note that fries aren't included; they're an extra charge as well. We ordered some, but they arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing. The sandwich itself was tasty, though definitely heavier on breading than meat. Overall, it was a good experience and worth trying once, but we probably wouldn't return unless we happened to be passing through Edinburgh again.

It was so flat, barely any meat under the breading. I was thinking it would be a little thicker, nope. I split this with my other half. Just a side note which was not a big deal to me, good business process for them. To get another bun and the side fixings like lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion was an extra charge. We got fries they were warm, not hot. It was about 45 minutes before closing. They close early on Sunday it was 2pm. I think the fries were left over and under a heat lamp. I heard later from friends done places have thicker cuts of pork tenderloin. Needless to say, I will not be back. The place was very clean hence only 1 other couple was there. The staff was very nice. You can tell it's a small town Diner. They were out of onion rings, and mozzarella sticks.

And he said the menu will expand again soon. Since I was by myself and he had some time, he sat down and we chatted for awhile. The seating at both restaurants, and you can call them that now since they do not just sell drinks anymore, has been greatly expanded both indoors and outside. He also told me they are working on opening a Plainfield location. I ordered my usual The Slugger on a biscuit for my bread choice (4) with sausage for my meat choice (3) and provolone for my cheese choice (5). It was superb and just how I remembered it from the other location when I was eating breakfast there several days a week about a year ago. I also ordered one Biscuit & Gravy which was excellent as well. I love small local business establishments and cooking. They always have great service and a friendly atmosphere.
