We came here for Sunday brunch and just a heads up, hop on the waiting list online while you're on the way there because it's WILL be a wait. However, the restaurant is pretty big so you shouldn't wait too long. We passed time by going to the mall across the street. The service was mid. Our waitress was friendly but she was not as attentive as we would have liked and maybe it was because it was crowded. Now, the food. 1st for the mimosa lovers, they don't have bottomless but the bottle of champagne was less than $30. We ordered steak and eggs, country fried steak, and churro French toast. The steaks were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The French toast itself was dry for my tastes and not as fluffy as I wanted. The toppings were good but the French toast itself didn't have much flavor. With that being said, I would still return.

One of our favorite brunch places in the area! We've tried their country fried steak, Spanish omelette, Short rib chilaquiles (one of my faves), I mean honestly you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. What I really appreciate is the kid's menu - we ordered chicken tenders and fries for our little one and the chicken is crispy, tender, and moist (pretty consistent whenever we come here). Overall, prices are decent, credit cards are accepted and there's plenty of parking

We made a reservation for 11am on a Saturday and were seated quickly in one of the booths. However, it took over 15 minutes for a server to take our orders which was disappointing. Eventually a waiter came and apologized as there was a "mix up on the tables." The interior decor is eclectic and moody but the booths, tables, and menus show signs of age. I ordered the filet mignon eggs benedict with country potatoes. I am glad that they were able to do hard poached eggs for my friend as she doesn't like runny eggs. The filet is supposed to be medium but it's definitely well done. The arugula salad was good, bright citrus flavor with grated parmesan. However, I'm not sure if the filet mignon benedict is worth it for the price.

First time trying Toast, and overall we had a good experience. I joined the Yelp waitlist ahead of time and somehow remained 9th in line for over 45 minutes. At that point, we figured we'd go inside and see what was going on. Plot twist: we asked about the wait and were seated almost immediately. So I'm still not entirely sure what adventure that Yelp waitlist was taking us on. The guy at the front wasn't exactly serving warm welcomes either. When we asked about the wait, he barely looked up or acknowledged us. Not the greatest first impression, but thankfully things improved from there. Once we were seated, though, the experience definitely improved. Our waiter, Thaer, was very nice, polite, and attentive, and provided great service throughout our meal. I ordered the Spanish omelet, and my partner ordered the Simple Classic breakfast . The food was solid and we both enjoyed our meals. Overall, despite the confusing Yelp waitlist and somewhat unfriendly greeting at the front, we had a good experience. Good food and great service from Thaer!

Food was so delicious & I didn't know what to get, so I had some of everyone's food. It was top tier, literally could not get enough! Definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time if possible. Everything was great--server was whatever, but the food made up for it. The place itself is really busy. Had a great time--would love to come back to try their dinner!

Toast Kitchen & Bar is a nice choice for brunch at this location due to the availability of various cocktail options. I personally was disappointed to not see the ube french toast but when I asked the waiter he said Toast has certain items special to that location. I have been to the one in Tustin called Toast Kitchen & Bakery and I actually prefer that place more. It had unique spins on Filipino/American Fusion as opposed to this location's menu. But, I still did appreciate the short rib chilaquiles and it was definitely the winner of that day. I had the House Benedict which was just ok because I felt the avocado mash was overpowering. At least I know what to pick now. The matcha martini was a little too sweet in my opinion but I applaud the creativity. I enjoyed the guava mimosa more! This is a good option to go for brunch and I suggest making a reservation because this place gets packed on the weekends.

Toast is a beautiful place - very well decorated and cozy! There's ample seating so waits are minimal. The Short Rib chilaquiles are very tasty, and the flavors complemented each other so well. I would definitely get this again. It was a somewhat large plate so easily shareable between 2! I ordered the Mexican Mocha latte with oat milk, and it wasn't the most flavorful - it was a mild flavor. I liked it but wasn't my favorite. My mom ordered the steak & eggs, and she thought it was very filling and tasty. A little plain though but to be expected with a steak and eggs, she was expecting a thicker cut.

Smoked Salmon and cucumber avocado toast with hash brown chips (bottom right)

Went with my girls for a brunch/lunch meet up. Make sure to make a reservation as this place gets busy. They had a cute selection of cocktails to choose from. I ordered an avocado toast (like their namesake) with smoked salmon on top and it was delicious. There was a good amount of avocado and smoked salmon. The cucumbers helped to add a much needed crunch. I had the choice of sourdough bread, and I wish the bread was more sour. For the side, I had the hash brown chips. The hash browns chips were so yummy it deserves its own paragraph. If you are a fan of crispy fries, this is it. I loved to each these chips with ketchup and some Tabasco sauce. I found myself disappointed there weren't more hashbrown chips, not because I wasn't full, but because my taste buds wanted more!

The food was amazing. We ordered the house Benedict. Sister ordered the short rib chilaquiles, dad ordered Spanish omelette and all were bomb.com. Our server Chelsea was absolutely amazing. Nice big booths and music good.

This place gets packed for lunch time. Thankfully it has a large parking lot but would recommend getting here early to snag a spot closer to the entrance. The space inside was very large. It splits into a right side and left side at the check-in desk. Interior design was beautiful and when we arrived for brunch, all seats were filled so would recommend making a reservation. I ordered the Classic Benedict w Cesar Salad. It was a perfect benedict and very filling. I did wish the Cesar salad had more of the dressing flavor. It looked well dressed however I wasn't tasting much of the dressing. Overall, I still enjoyed my food and our server was friendly and attentive, despite how busy the restaurant was.

The Restaurant Is On The Corner Of State College & Birch. It Shares The Same Parking Lot As Residence Inn. My First Visit Was On Sunday, 5/31/26. Had A Reservation At 12:30pm. A Reservation Is Highly Recommended, Because It Was Packed When I Arrived!!! The Noise Level Was High!! Very Friendly Staff & Server. Food Was Pretty Good Along With The BloodyMaria I Had!

Just had a lovely brunch here. Thaer was our server. Thank you for the excellent service! The food is consistently great. Our table ordered the crunch berries french toast, classic breakfast, chicken and waffles, and the breakfast croissant. Everything was delicious and came out surprisingly quick considering how packed the restaurant was. Vanilla lattes were on point. Excellent food and service, plus they accept reservations.. What more can you ask for?

Such a treat to come here for a Saturday morning brunch. My 1st time and wasnt sure what to expect but I was eager to see. When I arrived, I had placed a Yelp Rsvp and was super helpful because there was such a crowd waiting to be seated. The vibe of this place was on point! Seemed the host station had everything under control. When I approached them, i mentioned about my Yelp reservation and he seated us almost immediately. (Great tip for you Yelpers and Elites)... as we got seated, the overall decor and style of this is very elegant but comfortable. Cozy and sophisticated. Love all the decor like the artwork and modern farmhouse (shiplap and chandeliers). This place was buzzing w a packed front of house so I knew the back of house was gona be slammed. Kitchen staff were working it and it did take a lil time to get our food but since this was a brunch meeting for me, it gave us time to discuss our agendas. I ordered the country fried steak (which i dont normally order but was one of my wife's fave brunch go to) and it was very tasty and flavorful. My friend got the Denver omelet w fruit and was just as good, not lacking in anything. We plan to come back here again in the near future and w a larger group so definitely need to reserve that soon. Toast shares a parking lot w the neighboring Residence Inn hotel so make sure you dont park in their stalls as u may incur a parking fee for their lot (you will see a QR code in their lot section). Pls make your way here if you're hungry and wana try a new brunch spot! Awesome job Toast Kitchen & bar!

This place will verbally fight you to the bone, not the employees but the owners themselves husband and wife. If you complain about as little as something like why was I charged for a hot cup of water or anything, the owner will verbally argue with you over it. Let me tell you, my experience and my daughter's experience with this restaurant, we left there traumatized. Why? Because we politely asked why we were charged for a hot cup of water. First, the wife came to our table with a bad attitude, talked to us about the charges, and then the husband came over to our table with the same attitude and that's when everything went bad. "I let my daughter handle the defense using logic with them and she did a good job." She explained well and clearly to them but on the other hand, the owner's husband and wife would not stop arguing with us.  My daughter and I were so embarrassed by the way they acted in front of their other cutomers that were looking and listening to their argument about us. They don't have any shame whatsoever! The argument didn't go anywhere bc these owners' husband and wife will not back down, or stop arguing. They will keep going until we are completely drained. They even told us not to come back. "Duh", who would come back to that place? So we paid, they took out the charge $1.50 for the hot cup of water, and guess what, we even gave them a decent tip despite what happened - that's our donation for their anger management therapy. We are coming back to try the mozzarella sticks and pizza with our kids Probably one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had both on service and food taste
