Literally was so excited to go. We had never been. Sat down got a beer looked over the menu and ordered. Couple came in after us and sat down next to us. Ordered another beer while we were waiting. Took over 15 minutes to receive. No apologies. Still no food and we are at 30 minutes now. No Communication what so ever from our server. Table that was sat after us received their food before us. Server slides by and says gonna go check on your food.. another 5 minutes and food comes out and it's wrong. Server couldn't even remember which one of us had a burger and who had the club. Maybe had 6 tables total in the whole restaurant. Manager apologized and we stated we understood that things happen in this business, however server should have communicated and should have never served a table that came in after us that was seated next to us. Building is in shambles. Huge hole in the bottom of the building and broken windows. So wanted to love it, and just couldn't be more disappointed. Stopped at toasted on a recent road trip. It was 4th of July and the restaurant was busy, but worth the wait. We had the Apple Butter Biscuit Bottoms and the Awakened Bacon Biscuit Bottoms. Both were amazing and reasonable prices at $10.99 each. The apple butter biscuit bottoms were grilled biscuits with 2 eggs (I had mine scrambled) topped with Muenster cheese bacon and a sauteed apple onion combination and then it was topped with a bourbon apple butter. My husband had the awakened bacon biscuit bottoms which were two biscuits topped with 2 eggs, mozzarella and Chipotle Gouda cheese. This was topped with a sausage patty, a five onion and bacon marmalade and drizzle with a four berry glaze. A flavors of both were fantastic and a perfect blend. From the mimosa flights to the filet mignon omelet and my order of homemade cornbread hash biscuit bottom, it was an outstanding meal. The services was great, and timely. With over 30 mimosa's to choose from, we decided to do the flight route (choice of 3). I enjoyed the Manhattan mimosa and my wife had the Oh Mai which is a Mai Tai inspired mimosa. The food is phenomenal. One of their specialties is filet mignon. I highly recommend the "Biscuit Bottoms" which are scratch made biscuits with a variety of meat, cheese and egg choices served open face. It is not your typical breakfast sandwich because you will definitely need a knife a fork to eat this. The staff is very pleasant and customer focused. There were empty tables around us so they weren't that busy, but we were told there was a large group ahead of us that caused the delay. It tastes terrible" She said "I'll let the cook know" Few minutes later the same grumpy greeter comes to the table and causes a scene "what's wrong here?!" Me-SHHHHHHH!
