Located is a strip mall, this breakfast and lunch spot is popular (so crowded) but turns over tables efficiently so wIt times are not obscene. The food is good. The service is also good. The only problem with the restaurant is their organization. One person seems responsible for managing the queue and cashing out all tables all in a tiny space at the front of the restaurant which seemed overly chaotic to what might be possible. Came on vacation to Sarasota and stopped by siesta key to hangout at the beach and stopped to have breakfast here. Very good breakfast spot. Service was friendly and fast. The mango theme was awesome! Everything I could eat with mangos I did. I love mangos. The avocado mango toast was filling and flavorful. The mango waffles wish it had more mangos but it was still delicious. Highly recommend to check them out especially if you like mangos! read more

My wife had the homemade corned beef hash and eggs. Normally we like the canned stuff which I suppose is a bit 'low rent' of us, but we do. This hash was really good though. They add mushrooms which we liked and also green peppers which my wife declined. I had the standard poached eggs and ham... poached eggs done perfectly and a nice piece of ham steak... with a side of grits Good coffee and OJ made for an excellent breakfast. Hands down the very best mango waffle! Consistently, the texture is perfect and the size is big enough to share, especially if you are having other breakfast items. I tend to share with my wife and we will get an omelette with this waffle. Split each and we each get to enjoy a unique and affordable breakfast. The service is spot on, with plenty of hot coffee to get you awake. The space can fill up during season, but somehow, we are always able to grab a spot for two. They have a small counter that fits like 6 people, but the staff works hard to get these tables turned in a very reasonable amount of time. I tell you the wait is worth it! Prices are okay and don't forget to look at the daily specials for you will probably be surprised. On this day, crab cake Benedicts were flying out of the kitchen and they looked impressive. Also, some kind of chocolate french toast seemed to be a popular order at the table next to ours. Great breakfast, local owners, and always plenty of parking outside in the private lot. read more

An excellent little breakfast spot!! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the welcoming environment. There was plenty of seating and I was greeted with, "Hi there! Sit where you like!" The owner clearly had regulars, who she seemed to know very well. She was talking to one of the waitresses from across the room, which I thought was a little unusual but also kind of fun, adding to the casual and welcoming vibe. The rest of the staff were also very kind and checked in on guests often. I ordered the Blackened Salmon Benedict, which was delicious! I also got the berry smoothie which was large and very good - their smoothies are all freshly made. Also, the fish here is not affected by the red tide - the salmon I ate was imported from Alaska. It was very good! Next time I come I'd like to try to healthy fruit and yogurt breakfast - it seems to be popular and it looks delicious! Visited the Toasted Mango Cafe while spending a weekend in Siesta Key. We had a lazy morning and became hungry very quickly. Most of the breakfast/ brunch restaurants on the Key had long waits. This place is not located on the main strip but still on the key thus a short drive from anywhere if you are staying on the key. We walked in and were seated immediately. Our orders were taken and food served timely. Great experience as we were all starving! This is my first time eating at toasted mango on siesta key after hearing about it for years. My girlfriend and I rode our bikes over because it was St Patrick's Day and parking is limited. We were expecting a little wait being it was a holiday morning and the time of year. We were sat in about 20 minutes which is what I was about expecting. The busboy/host was very attentive and got us our drinks promptly. He noticed after about ten minutes nobody had taken our order so he ran down a waiter for us. I got the "toasted mango special" which comes with two eggs, three half slices of French toast, 2 slices of bacon, and home fries. The "home fries" essentially are just fried potatoes cut in fours. It'd be nice if they went a little further with the potatoes with some carmalized onion or peppers but hey I don't own a restaurant. The atmosphere is great. Little mom and pop brunch place on the southern end of siesta key. Can't get better vibes than that. Not a place I'm going to frequent every weekend for the $4 orange juice but definitely good breakfast on the island. Breakfast or lunch there is something for EVERYONE on the menu. read more

If you're in the area and looking for a breakfast spot, this is a good one. The coffee was good, and the food was brought out piping hot and fresh. I opted for a Create Your Own Omelette and added jalapenos. The dish came out with tons of peppers! It was so great! I got a Homemade Potato Cake as my side, as well as some toast.
